Tiger laughed.

No, seriously, he laughed. Hard. He pat Cartwright on the back as he nearly doubled over. He barely managed to lift a microphone to his mouth as he began to speak.

"Ooo. We are going to HELL! So spooky!"

He continued to laugh; the crowd didn't see the funny side of it, booing the reaction.

"Hey, hey... the nineties called. They want their dumb s**t back."

The crowd started jeering even louder.

"Trent... you are talking about challenging for titles, but what have you done to earn it? Hanging around with your little buddies doesn't make you a champion. Winning matches makes you a champion. Not that you would know that."

He grinned, his laugh subsiding.

"As for War Games...

...Game On!"

Reich gave a chuckle at Tiger's comment. "That's rich coming from a furry who has won only one match in his career since joining and acts all scary, but in reality is about as scary as a kitten in a whisky bottle."

That got the crowd laughing and jeering at Tiger Hat as Reich went from snarky to deadly serious in an instant.

"Hey Puss in Boots, if you want a free preview of Hell, you're more than welcome to bring your flea ridden mangy a** down here and I'll be happy to show you."  

[Salem Croft]

Salem took note of Cart & Company's interruption, the four heels bad mouthing Salem and Apex while his comrades defended each other. But despite the rising tension in the arena, "Showtime" grinned. War Games? Clearly everyone was on board with the idea, and the prospect of seeing full-scale combat between the most loved and most hated factions in the WWFG was enough to rile the crowd up and on their feet! A current of excitement jolted Salem into action, provoking him to approach the ropes nearest the ramp, leaning over with a smirk and staring down Cartwright!

"So, Omen - you think you taking out Avari would be the end of Apex? I'd call that stupid, but back when I added you to Salem's Lot, it wasn't for your intelligence." he teased, referencing a stable of Salem's from years back when he was younger and more reckless, the insult drawing laughs from the fans! "After all...we all know who the real leader of Apex is..." he grinned knowingly, looking on at his would-be opponents.

"It's Dommy Mommy." he said, gesturing to the woman behind him in the ring, the crowd going wild with a "DOMMY MOMMY" chant!

"You know, though...y'all talk a lot of s**t, but War Games might be the best idea y'all have ever had. I'm not scared to do it, Hell, Apex would love nothing more than to stomp you and your cronies out, what better place than in TWO rings, with a cage keeping you from running from that a**-whooping?! Nah, we're on, alright...next show, it's gonna be 'Carty's Kingdom' versus 'Apex'...but I only see four of you, and there's five of us. So, boss, who are you gonna volunteer to catch some of this beating with you? Because when you step to Apex, you got two options," he said, holding a thumb up on his free hand.

"You either get down, or..." he held out the index finger now, extending it like a gun to Cartwright.

"...or, you get put down, BANG!" He finished and fired at the group!

 

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Avari watched and waited, but received no imminent threat from Omen. He smirked and started stepping back towards the ring, slapping hands with fans on the way.

Fusion held up the World Heavyweight Championship and then hopped and sat on the ring apron, enjoying the war of words that had been happening.

 

[Cartwright]

Cartwright scoffs at Salem's finger gun, being the mature, adult boss that he is.

Cartwright: "What you said was all very cute Salem, but it shows that you fail to understand the gravity of your situation!
This War Games isn't about just beating Apex in a nice match to entertain the fans and see who the better team is.
This is about domination and destruction!
It is going to look like a war zone inside War Games!"

The Boss looks at the men beside him with confidence.

Cartwright: "We all hate you, Apex!
You've been running wild in the WWFG for far too long!
But to answer your question, I didn't need to volunteer anybody to join us for this match.
Oh no, somebody asked and was granted access to this match based on their hatred of you, Salem Croft..."

Cartwright pauses with a smirk on his face, making Apex feel uneasy about what is about to occur.

JR: "There's other people besides Cartwright Strong Style that hate Apex?"

King: "Yeah, everyone besides Apex from what I hear!"

 

[Undead Superstar]

The lights in the arena suddenly went out plunging everybody into darkness. The crowd gasped, starting to talk. There wasn't many people that would answer in such a way. As the lights came back on as a crimson glow, Rex was standing behind Salem with a predatory smile on his face. The lights shifted back to normal as Rex lunged forward in an attempt to catch Salem in the back of the head with a vicious forearm.  

[-Nuclear Fusion-]

Avari stood back up again as the darkness fell upon the arena, readying himself. He unstrapped the Championship gold and laid it on the ring apron behind him, readying himself for an attack.

When the lights came back on he was still facing the men on stage, with no idea what was happening in the ring.

As the lights went down and up again, Salem was struck from behind by a clubbing blow, Rex's ruthless forearm to the back of his head causing the "Copperhead Cowboy" to collapse from the sudden impact! It was always easier to brace for an attack when you could see it coming, but true to his nature, the snake that was Rex Kobra had no intention of telegraphing his strike, giving "Showtime" no time to prepare himself as he fell to the mat, momentarily stunned by the sudden assault after using the lights as a diversion to sneak into the ring!

As Salem fell, Rex would aim to pull him up back up by his hair before delivering a vicious headbutt.
