JoyRose Darkness and Wings A couple was driving when they found themselves at a fork in the road. The left looked untraveled so they went to the right. A little ways down the road they get a flat tire. Getting out they find that it was intentionally popped. Looking around they get the eerie feeling they're being watching. The male wants to walk and the female wants to stay with the car. After arguing they decide to split up, despite the female thinking it's a bad idea. The male isn't even out of ear shot when he hears the girl scream. Running back he finds her missing. Looking all around he suddenly blacks out as he's clubbed upside the head. Just two more victims to taking a 'Wrong Turn'. Creepy for sure! Can you please add a title for it? That will make it easier to link. Thank you! heart |

JoyRose eclaire5 THE GIRL IN THE WINDOW Years ago, a family lived in a little town named Russellville, Kentucky. The oldest daughter was asked to a dance but the parents were very religious & didn't believe in dancing so they said no. The girl begged & begged to go all week before the dance but the parents held firm. The night of the dance, they locked her in her room on the 2nd floor to assure she didn't try to sneak out. The girl stood in the window, watching others headed to the dance & got so mad at her parents that she opened her heart to evil & rage & she cursed God! Immediately, a lightning bolt came from the sky, striking & killing the girl! Whenever it rains at night, you can still see the outline of the girl in the window! This is a true story. So how does anyone know that's why she was struck by lightning? Still, great story! Thanks!
I guess it's just that she cursed God & the lightning bolt hit her very soon afterwards. In the Bible, Job's wife tells him to "curse God and die." So maybe that's also where the connection came from, I don't know. I do know they painted over the whole window a few years later after they & others sighted the daughter in the window. Later, they moved & someone else bought the house but the legend lives on! |
