[PRP]Peace and Introspection(Aelyx, Huarwar)

With the latest hatching over with business as usual continued on for Huarwar and Miershoth. The green took interest in her new nieces and nephews of course, though it was more from the stand point of making sure they had help if they needed it. Of course this hatching did not end up with Aelyx finding her dragon partner and she was once more left standing on the sands. Huarwar had mixed feelings about her continuing to stand, though he would never voice them out loud. He worried about Aelyx, knowing she would be up there in danger with him scared him from time to time but he would never take away the chance that she could have the partnership he had found with Miershoth.

Drills had finished for the day as Miershoth touched down outside their beach weyr. The green stretched her wings out on the sand as Huarwar slipped from her neckridges and began to undo the riding equipment. He removed his helmet as well, shaking his hair lose before letting out a soft groan. He moved into the weyr as Miershoth moved to the sand wallow beside it and laid down, spreading her wings out to rest under the sun.

Hanging up the straps and his helmet before beginning to undo his jacket, Huarwar turned his head to look around and take in everything. "Aelyx? Are you here love?" He was sure she was probably done with her chores for the day but he didn't know if she had made it back yet.

Another hatching, another turn closer to aging out, to being shunted aside like a no one. At the least, around candidate chores, Aelyx was able to ply her craft, perfecting it so she might stay here in the Weyr when that happened. The little ones had gone to good people, people that Aelyx cared for, but at the same time? Now...she was alone again, or so she felt. She'd gone back up to their shared weyr when it was over and done, having no energy to socialize. The next few days were her tucked away after chores and candidate tasks, knowing well that eventually Miershoth and Huarwar would find her.

When she heard Miershoth settle in on their beach weyr, she looked up from the bed where she lay. Her hair was almost out of green color on the tips, those mismatched eyes studying her love when he returned, looking at the helmet and jacket as they came back, "...I'm here." Her voice was soft, small, quiet. She still had such trouble after hatchings, her heart aching at the loss..even if she was was still afraid of the idea of dragons. "Did you and Miershoth have a good day?"

Removing the jacket and letting it slip from his shoulders Huarwar caught it and hung that up before he noticed where Aelyx was laying on the bed. He smiled softly at her able to see that she was still having a hard time after being left standing this hatching again. "It was good. A bit tiring I think we might go for a dip in the water in a moment." Crossing the weyr and stopping at the bed he let himself plop down sitting for a moment as he removed his boots before letting himself fall onto the bed beside her.

"How are you doing love?" As he spoke Huarwar wrapped Aelyx in his arms and pulled her close to him, letting her head rest against his chest and just enjoying her closeness. He let his hand run through her hair as he held her close.

It might do you some good to come out with us, even if you only spend time on the beach for a moment. Miershoth's words and touch to Aelyx mind was soft and gentle, sending affection to the woman.
