⇨ Hydromancy Magic Tree

Hydromancy is the mystical art of manipulating water and vapors to the witch's will. Unlike it's natural opposite Pyromancy, Hydromancy is a naturally supportive, helpful, and defensive type of magic. However despite this, Hydromancy can also be quite dangerous in offensive ways as well. Hydromancy is a fairly volatile support type, where some effects may support some they can also hinder others. This makes hydromancy a style that requires some carefulness. This is a Guts skill.

⇨ Tier One Perks

↯ Lets Just, Push it Somewhere Else ↯
When the user misses with a target technique the user may choose a different target and cause the missed technique to aim towards the new target. Usable once every 5 posts.

↯ Dasani ↯
The user may choose to forgo the damage of Water Stream or Steam Beam in order to make the technique unblockable. The technique will still be able to be dodged. This can only be used once every 5 posts.

↯ Hungry Shark ↯
The user's attacks may benefit from level increase buffs. This can be used once every 5 posts. This does not count towards the limit of 2 perks being applied to a technique at any given time.

↯ Lemon Drops and Gum Drops ↯
When a meister or weapon is hit with a spell from this magic they become unable to resonate with their partner(s) for 1 post.

↯ Swimmin Wit Da Fishes ↯
The user of this magic is capable of swimming through the air as if it were water.

Water Stream, Steam Beam, and Coursing Fluids may target 1 additional valid target. This can be used once every 5 posts.

The effects of the user's techniques from this magic last an additional 2 posts. Requires Spongebob

When used, regardless of it's level, The Serpent has an additional 20 Mana Pool. It's body attack may still only be used to a maximum of 1 level higher than the user.

↯ Independence Day ↯
The user of this magic may ignore the "an ally" portion of their techniques to allow them to benefit from their own magic's effects. This can be used once every five posts.

↯ The Kraken ↯
When used, regardless of it's level, The Serpent has an additional 30 Mana Pool. It's body attack may still only be used to a maximum of 1 level higher than the user. Requires Tusotheuthis


⇨ Spells


☾ Water Stream | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Mana
The user will fire a high propulsion stream of water towards an opponent. When hit the target will take damage and find themselves drenched in water making it 1 level harder to dodge an ally's Electromancy and Cryomancy spells but 1 level easier to block an ally's Pyromancy and Necromancy spells for 2 posts. This attack can not benefit from any Level Increase buffs.

☾ Steam Beam | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Mana
The user will force the moisture out of the air around an opponent. When hit the target will take damage, and the air around them becomes dry making it
1 level harder to block an ally's Pyromancy and Necromancy Spells, but 1 level easier to dodge an ally's Electromancy and Cryomancy spells for 2 posts. This attack can not benefit from any Level Increase buffs

☾ Coursing Fluids | Scaled Level | Tier 2 | Mana
The user will create a small stream of water, then push it into an ally or any target. The water moves through the ally, refunding the ally Mana equal to the level used of this spell. In addition to this, for 2 posts an Ally's Regeneration Magic used on the affected person is treated as if it were used 1 level higher than normal. This attack can not benefit from any Level Increase buffs.

☾ The Serpent | Scaled Level | Tier 2 | Mana
The user will create a stream of water in a serpentine shape that may move around the battlefield at the whim of the witch. The serpentine form has a pool of however much mana has been used to create it, within the normal level guidelines of the user. The serpent may expel an offensive beam of mist at the whim of the witch using some of this mana up to the level of spell the witch is capable of casting. It may also attempt to ram it's body into another spell/technique or an opponent, which uses up whatever remaining mana the serpent has as an attack of the designated level. When the serpent no longer has mana left stored in it it will disappear.
-Examples: Using the Serpent at level 5, the Serpent has 50 Mana. During the course of the battle the serpent uses 2 Level 1 Mist Beam attacks, the serpent has 30 Mana left. The Serpent then uses a ram attack, as it has 30 mana left the ram attack is Level 3.

☾ Chaos Storm | Level 5 | Tier 3 | Mana
The entire topic becomes the zone of heavy rain evoked by the power of the caster of this spell. The storm lasts for 3 posts. For the duration of the storm, Arcane and Bloodsucker Spells overwhelm equal level techniques in collisions. However Werewolves and Transformation Witches find themselves stuck in whatever form they were in when the storm started, and unable to transform for the duration of the storm. The user of this technique is unaffected by the Buff but they are affected by the Debuff. If the user of this technique uses Independence Day to augment this technique the user is unaffected by the Debuff but also remain unaffected by the Buff.

☾ Shifting Storm | Level 5 | Tier 3 | Mana
The entire topic becomes the zone of a hurricane evoked by the power of the caster of this spell. The storm lasts for 3 posts. For the duration of the storm Werewolf and Transformation Magic techniques overwhelm equal level techniques in collisions. However Bloodsuckers find themselves unable to drain resources from their opponents, and Arcane Mages find themselves unable to create more magic circles for the duration of the storm. Arcane Mages may still use any previously created and present circles however. The user of this technique is unaffected by the Buff but they are affected by the Debuff. If the user of this technique uses Independence Day to augment this technique the user is unaffected by the Debuff but also remain unaffected by the Buff.

⇨ Soul Leech Skill Tree

The power of the soul is strong indeed, and the ability to manipulate the soul directly belongs to that of the Meister. At least that is what many Meisters, especially those who learn of the secret techniques of the Soul Leech Skill Tree. These Meisters take manipulation of the soul in a different way than many others. As opposed to projecting their soul, outwards they use their own soul to draw on the soul of others through physical contact typically utilizing the hands and thus mess with it in many different ways. This is a Dexterity skill.

⇨ Tier One Perks

↯ Succubus ↯
The user may activate techniques of this skill tree via any form of physical contact.

↯ Swallow ↯
When using the Soul Drain technique the user may choose to instead of absorb resource heal their injuries. If absorbing 20 or less heal minor cuts and bruises. If absorbing 30 or 40 heal major cuts and bruises. If absorbing 50 heal large flesh wounds and fractures. (not broken bones, only fractured bones.)

↯ Garlic ↯
Once every 5 posts, if the user would be affected by a technique which applies a resource draining effect they may ignore the draining effect.

↯ Sucker ↯
The user may choose to delay the effects of a successfully executed technique. Techniques effects may be activated up to 2 posts after it was successfully executed already. Only usable twice a battle.

↯ Threesome ↯
The user may have 2 people tethered to them via the Soul Tether technique.

↯ Absorb ↯
Soul Drain drains an additional 5 resource when successfully used once per 5 posts.

↯ You're So Big ↯
The user may create extension from out of soul wavelength effectively extending the reach of physical contact by 5 feet.

↯ They're Tearing Me Apart! ↯
When using the Soul Rip technique, the user may choose to actually cause physical cuts and scratches to appear on the affected person. Choice must be made prior to successful strike.

The user may have 3 people tethered to them via the Soul Tether technique.

Soul Drain drains an additional 10 resource when successfully used once per 5 posts.

When successfully using the Soul Separation technique, the user may, before pulling the opponent's soul from their body, squeeze their soul and apply the pain effects of Soul Strike or Soul Rip. This can only be used once per 5 posts.

Soul Drain drains an additional 15 resource when successfully used once per 5 posts. Requires Mega Drain

The user of this technique aims to make physical contact with an opponent. When successful, unimpeded, contact has been made the user's wavelength pulls on the soul of target and drains them of resource equal to the level of this technique.

⇨ Soul Strike | Level 2 | Tier 1 | Spirit
The user will aim to make physical contact with an opponent. When successful, unimpeded, contact has been made the user's wavelength seems to strike directly at the soul of the target causing a sharp stabbing pain within the body of the affected person.

⇨ Soul Rip | Level 3 | Tier 2 | Spirit
The user of this technique aims to make physical contact with an opponent with both of their hands. When successful, unimpeded, contact has been made the user's wavelength pulls at the soul of the target. The pulling of the soul from two points causes a painful ripping sensation to course through the body of affected person.

⇨ Soul Tether | Level 4 | Tier 2 | Spirit
The user of this technique aims to make physical contact with an opponent. When successful, unimpeded, contact has been made the user attaches what is essentially a tether of soul energy from their own soul to the target's soul. The tether lasts 3 post, during which time any effects that either side of the tether come under the effects of are applied to both. This includes, healing, buffs, de-buffs, and even damage inflicted. Example of damage being applied to both being if one side receives a cut a cut will appear in the exact same spot but on the other side of the tether and they would feel the pain of the cut as well. Unless otherwise specified the user may only be tethered to a single target at a time.

⇨ Soul Separation | Level 5 | Tier 3 | Spirit
The user of this technique will aim to make physical contact with an opponent. This technique can not be blocked and as such it must be dodged. The user's hand will seem to phase into their target as physical contact has been made and they will pull from the target's body their own soul, which then begins to float around the affect person's body for the rest of combat. This doesn't hinder the affected person. However the person must now defend themselves and their exposed soul floating around them as it can be the target of an opponent's techniques or spells. When the soul itself is targeted and hit successfully, affects such as buffs and debuffs last an additional 2 posts and when damage is dealt to the soul directly it is considered 1 level higher than normal up to a maximum of 5. Resource based effects drain or give an additional 20 resource than normal. This technique can only affect one target at a time, if used on another target the previous target's soul returns to normal.

⇨ Street Fighting Skill Tree

Martial Artists train and discipline their bodies, however the opposite of them are the Street Fighters. Bent on chaos, disorder, and unpredictability during combat Street Fighters don't believe in rules or honor. Whatever will get them the win is fair game. This is a Dexterity skill. Can be Meister, Weapon, or Witch class.

Pocket Sand's debuff lasts an additional 1 post once every 5 posts.

↯ Shove'em in the Locker ↯
The user's Cheap Shot technique may be used at 1 level higher without costing additional resources once per 5 posts.

↯ Hold My Earrings ↯
The street fighter gains a custom technique based on this skill tree.

↯ Did You Look at Me? ↯
Street Fighters do well at predicting attacks, even the unpredictable. Once every 5 posts the it's easier to dodge a technique by 1 level.

↯ Feint Attack ↯
Once every 5 posts, when the user uses Cheap Shot, they may immediately follow it up with a second Cheap Shot at 1 level lower than the original use to a minimum of level one for no additional action or resource cost.

Pocket Sand's range is doubled

Once every 5 posts, when the user uses Cheap Shot, they may immediately follow it up with a second Cheap Shot at the same level as the original use for no additional action or resource cost. Requires Feint Attack

Once every 5 posts, while in Street Stance, if the user has the Martial Artist skill tree their Punch or Kick technique may be augmented by Street Stance.

The user will throw sand, dust, or some kind of similar substance in the eyes of their opponent. If successful it becomes 1 level easier for anyone to block or dodge the affected individual's attacks for 2 posts. Substance may be thrown up to 10 feet away.

⇨ Cheap Shot | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Spirit, Stamina, or Mana
The user will target a particularly vulnerable part of their opponent's body, and kick, punch, or do just about anything to it within melee distance. This can vary from person to person of course. Due to the sneaky nature of this attack, it can not be blocked however it can be dodged. To properly dodge this the person in question must leave melee range during their dodge.

⇨ Improvised Attack | Level 3 | Tier 2 | Spirit, Stamina, or Mana
The user of this technique will use an unconventional weapon that could be just about anything laying around. This includes but it not limited to chairs, tables, umbrellas, rocks, cans, and computers. They will then strike their opponent with it as hard as they can. The opponent is caught off guard if they are hit by it, losing one action in their next post.

⇨ Street Stance | Scaled Level | Tier 2 | Spirit, Stamina, or Mana
The user of this technique will take an unorthodox fighting stance. Some would say that the stance is filled with openings. However such a stance leaves much room for personal movement and style as well. While in this stance basic combat executed by the user is 1 level harder to dodge.

⇨ Get Jumped | Level 5 | Tier 3 | Spirit, Stamina, or Mana
The user of this technique employs the best possible tactic in a street fighter's arsenal...having other people jump their target(s). The user of this technique will whistle, and seemingly out of nowhere a horde of thugs, gangsters, general criminals, or just about whatever groups of people one might find out on the street appear. This attack is effectively an AOE Attack, in which the thugs that seem to come from nowhere batter any enemies within the topic, and even vandalize the topic itself within reasonable capabilities of mostly normal people. After the attack, the horde of people once more disappear into the shadows. Usable once per battle. Can not be affected by perks or other effects unless the perk specifically mentions this technique.

⇨ Vital Striking Skill Tree

Vital Striking is a combat method focused on targeting the weak points of the body with precision attacks and exhausting the opponent through continuous strikes. Slightly different than the basic forms of martial arts which require strength and power in most cases, this skill tree relies on anatomical knowledge and similar things to that. As such this is a Wisdom skill. Can be Meister, Weapon, or Witch class.

⇨ Tier One Perks

↯ Hiashi ↯
Once every 5 posts, when using Pressure Strike, the user will quickly use their technique again at 1 level lower than initial use for no additional resource or action cost.

↯ Boruto ↯
Once every 5 posts, and only if the technique has been augmented by Hinata. the user may cause their technique to bypass magical or spiritual defenses such as Soul Armor, Soul Barrier, etc etc. This makes the technique only able to be dodged and unable to be blocked.

↯ Neji ↯
Once every 5 posts, the user may use Pressure Strike on a weapon even if they're in weapon form.

↯ Himawari ↯
Once every 5 posts, the user may make it 1 level harder to block a technique from this skill tree.

↯ Hanabi ↯
Once every 5 posts, the user may make it 1 level harder to dodge a technique from this skill tree.

↯ Hinata ↯
By paying additional resource, the user may grant up to 10 feet per level of resource used in range to their techniques of this skill tree.

⇨ Tier Two Perks

↯ Demotivation ↯
Once every 5 posts, the user may make the effects of Gut Kick last 1 post longer.

↯ Drain Punch ↯
Once every 5 posts. the user may gain the resources that the opponent loses from a technique from this skill tree.

↯ Dizzy Punch ↯
Once every 5 Posts, Pressure Strike may be substituted by a punch based attack instead. The technique in this case does not suffer the damage debuff, and is 1 level higher for collisions to a maximum of 5.

↯ Multi-Limb Strike! ↯
Once per 5 posts, Disabling Strike can be used on two limbs instead of just one. Must be the same target, does not increase damage.

↯ SHUSH ↯
Silence lasts 1 additional post.

↯ Gentle Fist! ↯
The user is capable of using Silence twice per combat. Silence has a 5 post cooldown in this case.

⇨ Techniques


⇨ Pressure Strike | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Spirit, Stamina, or Mana
The user aims for a precision strike at one of the many pressure points of the body. When it hits, the strike deals 1 level to a minimum of 1 less damage than that of a normal technique, however it also reduces the target's resource by an amount equal to the cost of the level of the technique. This technique can not be used on a weapon in weapon form.

⇨ Snake Bite Strike | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Spirit, Stamina, or Mana
The curls two of their fingers forwards as if to replicate the fangs of a snake. They will then strike an opponent with the curled fingers, for collision this technique is considered the same level but in causing damage it is considered 1 level higher. The target also loses 10 resource regardless of the level this technique is used at.

⇨ Gut Kick | Level 3 | Tier 2 | Spirit, Stamina, or Mana
The user will send a kick at the opponent, aiming typically for the stomach or diaphragm area in order to wind the opponent. When this strike successfully hits the opponent loses 1 action in their next post from being winded.

⇨ Disabled Strike | Level 4 | Tier 2 | Spirit, Stamina, or Mana
The user will strike the opponent in multiple parts of a single limb of the opponent. On successful strike with this technique, the user's limb becomes unable to be moved for the next two posts.

⇨ Silence | Level 5 | Tier 3 | Spirit, Stamina, or Mana
A move with a name stolen from a debuff effect used in video games. The user will strike an opponent multiple times all over their body. Striking multiple pressure points after the first hit. The opponent becomes unable to expend resources aside from to use Basic Combat for the next 3 posts. Only usable once per combat.

Some Meisters have found a way to emulate effects that many believe only witches could accomplish through the use of their elemental magics. The Soul Elementalists utilize their manipulation of the soul to alter the world around them and create a variety of elemental effects. While this skill tree encompasses all elements, they do not have the mass manipulation or raw power of elemental magics. Fire, Water, Ice, Lightning, Earth, Wind and Surprise are the elements that Soul Elementalist encompasses. In order to make a custom based on a certain element the meister must have access to the technique associated with that element from this tree first. (Ex. If you don't have the Ice Spear technique you can't make Ice Customs.) There is a semi-scientific aspect to this skill tree and as such this is a Wisdom skill.

⇨ Tier One Perks

↯ You Smell Like Burning ↯
Once every 5 posts, the Meister may make the fireball erupt into flames that spread up to 10 feet per level after it makes contact with anything. This includes on collision with another technique. This doesn't alter the collision of the fireball technique, however the flames spreading can cause damage to anyone including the meister who used the technique.

↯ I Decide What the Tide Will Bring ↯
Once every 5 posts, the Meister may make Water Gun unblockable, in which case the opponent must dodge the technique if they do not wish to get hit. This can not be applied if Water Gun has multiple targets.

↯ Upon the Wind ↯
The Meister may fly through the air up to 5 feet above the ground per level of the meister.

↯ Give Me, Give Me, MORE ↯
The projectile range of techniques from this tree is doubled. Sizes of Techniques and any AOE based effects are not affected.

↯ Convergence ↯
The Meister is capable of using two different element techniques at the same level for one action once every five posts. Cost must still be paid for both.

↯ Wannabe ↯
The Meister gains 1 additional custom for this skill tree.

↯ Fullbuster ↯
Once every 5 posts the user may control and already present Ice Spear for a second attack with no additional resource cost.

↯ Element of Surprise ↯
While underground the Meister is able to feel movement in and above the ground for up to 10 feet. If the meister has the Soul Perception tree it becomes 15 feet per level of the meister.

↯ Tri-Attack ↯
The Meister is capable of using three different element techniques at the same level for one action once every five posts. Cost must still be paid for all. Requires Convergence. Renders Convergence only usable once per battle, and never in the same post as Tri-Attack

↯ Chuunibyou ↯
The meister gains 2 additional customs for this skill tree. Requires Wannabe

⇨ Tier Three Perks

↯ Witch Bolt ↯
Once every 5 posts, when the Meister uses Shock Bolt they create two bolts of lightning instead of one for no additional action or resource cost.

↯ Fake a** WITCH ↯
The meister gains 1 additional custom for each element associated with this skill tree. 1 for each Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Ice, and Lightning for a total of 6. Alternatively, the meister may choose to use these customs to combine elements and create a new element. Ex. Fire and Water making Steam. When this is done the two elements used no longer have slots associated with them from this perk. Ex. Making Steam from Fire and Water uses both the Fire and Water Slot, leaving only the Wind, Earth, Ice, and Lightning Slots. However after a first technique has been made for a combination element the user may create more techniques using that element. Requires Chuunibyou

⇨ Fireball | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Spirit
The meister channels their soul wavelength into the air around them, causing a chemical reaction in the air and creates a ball of fire that has a 5 foot radius per level the technique is used at. The ball of fire can be thrown up to 10 feet per level.

SPIRIT Water Gun | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Spirit
The meister forms a gun shape with their fingers, channeling soul wavelength through the air and pulling moister out of the air into a small pellet like shape. They then fire the water pellet in a jet stream like fashion. The pellet, if unimpeded by another technique, will travel 15 feet forwards per level used. This includes through flesh, bone, brick, steel, and just about anything that is not a defensive technique capable of impeding the technique.

⇨ Current Shift | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Spirit
The Meister will use their soul wavelength, sending it into the air and forcing the currents in the air to bend to their whim. They can use this to create a pushing upon a target to send them backwards 10 feet per level of the technique used.

⇨ Ice Spear | Scaled Level | Tier 2 | Spirit
The meister will send their soul energy through the air pulling the moisture into a concentrated point and then freezing it by dropping the temperature using their soul energy of the moisture quickly. This creates a 2 Foot per level spear made of ice in the air which can be launched at an opponent up to 10 feet per level. Due to the physical nature of this technique it is not considered a soul technique, and the ice spear will remain often times until the battle is over or it has been melted or broken. After the initial attack the ice spear is no longer under control of the meister.

⇨ Ground Swimming | Scaled Level | Tier 2 | Spiirt
The Meister will send their soul energy through the ground in order to be able to move it around to an extent at their leisure. They utilize this bit of movement to allow themselves to swim through the earth. This technique can be maintained for 2 posts per level used, allowing Meisters to return to the earth so long as their duration is not up. However in most cases a Meister must exit the earth in order to attack an enemy.

⇨ Shock Bolt | Scaled Level | Tier 3 | Spirit
The Meister will use their soul energy to create a chemical create in the air and create electrical energy. They fire this electrical energy towards their opponent for up to 10 feet per rank 2 feet wide. This energy is unlike the electric-like energy represented within Soul Wavelength's Tree, it is literal electricity being fired at someone. This technique will hit everyone within it's range.

Musicians are able to double the range of their techniques.

Once every three posts, Musicians can use a technique for one level lower in cost.

↯ Blistering Performance ↯
Once every three posts, Musicians can increase the power for one technique without increasing cost.

↯ Rhythim Motion ↯
The Musician may dodge a technique for one level less once every three posts.

↯ Practiced Power ↯
The Musician may refund half of the cost of Heavy Note once every three posts.

↯ Three’s a Crowd ↯
Once per every three posts, Musicians can use a technique on two targets without splitting the effect.

Musicians can triple their range. Requires Amplify.

↯ Up-Tempo ↯
The Musician may use two techniques in one action once every four posts.

↯ Once More, With Feeling! ↯
Musicians may utilize another tree’s techniques/spells through their instrument, and thus apply Musician Perks to it. These perks do not stack with similar ones of the other tree.

↯ Center Stage ↯
The Musician draws aggro from one enemy for one round. This can be used once every four rounds.

↯ Stadium Sound ↯
Musicians are able to affect any target within the entire topic with their techniques once every four posts.

↯ Rock the Masses ↯
Once per battle, Musicians can target up to four enemies and/or allies with one technique without splitting the effect.

A shockwave of energy shot forth from a note played on the Musician’s instrument.

The Musician plays a quick riff on their instrument, disrupting a single opponent’s attack. That attack is one level easier to dodge.
⇨ [ Musical Chairs ] | Level 2 | Tier 2 | User’s Resource
The Musician targets an ally with their instrument, allowing them to increase the level of one of their techniques/spells by one for no additional cost.
⇨ [ Power Ballad ] | Level 3 | Tier 2 | User’s Resource
The Musician plays a powerful heartfelt track that allows them to remove a level of madness from a target.
⇨ [ Music is the Best Medicine ] | Level 4 | Tier 2 | User’s Resource
The Musician uses the power of their music to heal an ally of grievous wounds. This technique can be used once every four turns.
⇨ [ Encore ] | Level 5 | Tier 3 | User’s Resource
This must be the Musician’s last action for the turn. They follow up their previous techniques for the turn and repeat them each at two levels lower (minimum of level one). This technique can be used once per battle.
