⇨ Blade of Madness | Level 3 | Tier 2 | Spirit
This technique is a sort of branch techniques of the Madness Construction techniques. The user creates what seems to be a sword out of pure madness energy. Due to it being made of madness energy the weapon seems to almost blink in and out of existence or have a glitch-esque appearance to it at times. The weapon is solid but does not deal damage normally. Instead when an opponent makes contact with the weapon 1 tier of madness is inflicted upon them. Much like with the Madness Construction technique, If a Meister of the Soul Construction skill tree, those perks may influence this technique if the Meister so chooses. The sword can not leave it's user's hand and due to this prevents the Madness Construction technique from being used while this technique is being used.

Iono if we can make customs for our NPC partners but I’ll assume so, though if I’m wrong then I’ll just remove the weapons customs.

⇨ Character Name: Sylvie Mistveil
⇨ Skill Tree: Madness skill
⇨ Derelict Movement | 2 | 1 | Spirit
Instantly before a movement the users madness races out in different directions creating multiple trailing paths, flickering forms akin to the users or whatever they might wish the madness trail to form. These spread out at an extreme speed and due to all the alternative paths they create is becomes nearly impossible to predict which one the user will follow. A fraction of a second after the madness spreads the user will then follow one of these paths at unnatural and near instantaneous seeming speeds, the alternate paths of madness all rushing back to the point the user began and explodes in a pulse of madness generated imagery around ten feet from the point of beginning, increasing madness by one tier in those caught in the radius. Potential paths and movements from this cover 360 degrees and stretch up to thirty feet from the point of origin, around five or six possible paths are formed when this is used and can move through things up to half the users size without preventing the movement, madness distorting them with the motion.

The release of this shock is slightly less damaging, though this wavelength will cause the body of people struck to be hit with intense Nausea and find themselves immediately vomiting against their will, the wavelength the were struck by feeling incredibly sickening. Those struck loose 10 resources immediately and an additional ten a post for the next two posts unless the opponent spends an action on purging their system all at once. Those on weapon form struck by this will find themselves safe until the transform back before being sick, though if the technique duration has already expired by this point they only loose the initial 10 resource. Works once per opponent, unless they literally start eating mid combat afterwards, which is unlikely but not implausible. (I’ll lower the time this lasts if need be)


Added more, these are her level 1 and 2 customs all made right now. The wrestling and handy defence are the level 1 customs to clarify.

⇨ Qigong | Level 3 | 2 | Stamina
Not unlike spirit wavelength but certainly vastly different. Roxanne practices a good amount of Qigong as part of her lifestyle, having reached the point where she can focus her internal energy into external punishing force, making a light and near insignificant blow become potentially devastating. The main advantage this gives her is that physically defending against a quigong strike isn’t a smart idea and as such a successful physical block of a quigong strike stroll inflict a rank below its casting level in damage to the one blocking, the bodily energy pulsing through the opponents, hurting immensely. Non-successfully blocking these attacks with launch a person a good fifteen to twenty feet through the air/rolling across the ground from the strike and again the internal shockwave from the impact does more damage internally than externally. There’s no specific type of strike required to do this and the power of these strikes can easily level a struck wall, if not leave a clear circle of damage if the building is very reinforced.

⇨ Almighty Heel | 3 | 1 | Stamina
Stretching her leg up high and using incredible balance and control Roxie will align herself and drop the foot down upon the opponents head. This blow will drive the opponent from their feet to the ground, driving the opponent face into the ground and Roxie repositioning her foot and weight in the last instant before contact with the ground to turn the heel drop kick into a face grinding stomp, level cracks all around the point of impact and burying the persons face into the ground. This is a very jarring strike as the persons face is used to make a small crater that produces cracks that reach metres away, this those who failed to avoid it should be unquestionably concussed and find their nose in the very least broken when it comes to facial damage, spells and spirit techniques(besides martial arts) are barred for one post after being struck.

⇨ T.v. Wrestling suplex/throw | Scaled level | 2 | Stamina
Pretty self explanatory, the user has absorbed a plethora of wrestling moves from t.v. More specifically the throwing techniques, like suplexes and such. These are all done with such brutal force that the impacts are incredibly loud, painful and debilitating, the ground seems to shake, peoples teeth rattle in their skulls and the ground/objects often yield to the force the person was slammed/thrown.

⇨ Big handed shield, (mainly a partial transformation skill)| Scaled Level | 2 | Stamina
Rich and manifest the massive fingers of her main fist form form her body when untransformed, only creating the fingers, though able to cover over half the surface area of her body and as such shield herself and even those right beside/behind her from attacks, big or small. Though this technique can be done when she is wielded by a Meister by using the hand in a similar way. Non heavy striking weapons have stamina drained equal to two levels lower than is was cast to a minimum of one when striking this “barrier” due to it being so hard, large and heavy that shock is returned.

⇨ Wavelength Match | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Spirit
The use of this technique requires the user to have the Predicting perk from the Madness Skill Tree. The user of this technique detects the soul wavelength attack just before it strikes them, then they alter their wavelength to match that of the attack. This causes the wavelength attack to fail completely due to the matched wavelength making the technique completely ineffective. Must be used at the Level of the wavelength attack being used.

⇨ Consumption | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Spirit
This technique comes from having consumed Kishin Eggs as a meister and delving into madness. The user will make some form of physical contact with their target, then use a combination of soul wavelength and madness that washes over the form of the target. The user will feel as if their very soul has been attempted to be pulled from them and eaten. This technique drains the target of their resource equal to the level of this technique that has been used.
(Madness)

⇨ Meister Hunter | Level 3 | Tier 2 | Spirit
The user of this technique has taken a page from the users of the legendary technique Witch Hunter...and turned back upon them. The user places their hands either together or quite close to each other causing their soul wavelength to bounce back and forth between their hands, constantly cycling it and growing it in power and size until it is a spherical ball of lightning like soul wavelength, which can also be in the shape of the user's soul itself sometimes. They will then launch it at an opponent, or even use it as a close ranged strike of sorts on the enemy. The technique treats soul based defenses or techniques as 1 level lower in strength.

The user of this technique uses their wavelength to charge both themselves and a target enemy. The user and the enemy will find themselves stuck together and unable to part from the point of contact made. Due to the nature of this technique this must be used with physical contact. Lasts 3 posts..

⇨ Inhaling Madness | Level 1 | Tier 1 | Mana
When fighting with or against Madness Ram gains strength. For the duration of this technique, Ram is able to inhale residual madness from attacks to recover his resources. This occurs whether it is the enemy(s), ally(s) or Ram under the influence of Madness. (The Amount recovered depends on the Madness Level of the person using the attack)
- At Level 1 Madness Ram regains 25% resources from attacks
- At Level 2 Madness Ram regains 50% resources from attacks
- At Level 3 Madness Ram regains 75% resources from attacks
- Once activated this lasts for a single post and comes with a five post cooldown


☾ Magic Tree: ARCANE
☾ Arcane Trickster | Scaling Level | Tier 1 | Mana
When struck the user can cause an eldritch circle to spawn taking the hit for them and allowing them to reappear up to ten feet away in any direction, in visible line of sight, afterwards. If the technique being evaded is larger than a ten foot radius, the user can appear outside of the technique's reach in the shortest direction possible.
- This technique has a three post cooldown
- This spell must be cast at the same level as the evaded technique, and spawns an Eldritch circle of adequate level.

Derelict Movement: Very cool. Approved.
Putrid Shock: No resource drain. Maybe take an action from the enemy instead? Three post cooldown at least please.
Qigong: This part is not approvable but the blowback is fine:

Those struck loose a single action for a single post as the unwilling purge their stomach or at least attempt too if running on empty, this is nothing fun and leaves people feeling woozy and with stomach cramps as a result, people normally find that that can’t eat for around ten hours without throwing it back up if being hit by this, though very light foods or water can be tolerated. Those who know she can do this normally request she hold off on it when sparring of having a fight for rankings within the student body, Sylvie considers these requests but doesn’t necessarily comply. This can only remove an action once from an opponent each.

⇨ Skill Tree: Scythe
⇨ Dredge Line | Scaled Level | Tier 2 | Stamina
A technique that capitalizes on Chungledown's heftiness as an anchor. Initially the Anchor is thrown and the chain attaches itself to the wielder. Allowing it to be used as a egregious grappling hook. The weapon then cements itself in place requiring a level 2 or higher technique to move. Alternatively, Chungledown is thrown to blatantly pass the target. The weapon then returns with the inner ridge of the anchor anchor flying backwards with the goal to catch the target it flew passed in the ridges and bring them forcibly back towards the wielder for a follow up. The returning property doesn't work unless he's being used by a Meister.

A technique which has the goal to lead to the quickest end of an encounter. The anchor multiplies in weight and size and drops, immediately from wherever its current location is. Almost close to immediately crushing whoever or whatever is under it and typically 'anchoring' them in place. The impact is a meteoric landing in a designated area causing a significant impact in a 5ft radius up to 100ft radius at level 5. Scaling 5,10, 25, 50, 100. Chungledown's size is relative for said impact being half the size of the impact radius. The meister cannot lift Chungledown in these states unless they have a combined Strength and Guts score of [4] for Level 2, [6] For Level 3, [8] For Level 4, [12] For Level 5. Size reverts to normal the following post.

Ignis emits smoke and ashes using his demon tool which then permeate and can be manipulated. The clouds size increases by 10ft per level. The ashes are capable of being reshaped into implements of attack or defense. Ignis can use the ashes to trigger a detonation by having the ashes come into contact with one of his own fire spells. When detonated the ashes do not deal its level in damage. The level of the spell used to detonate them determines the level of the subsequent explosion which deals [2] Levels Lower minimum of [1] on top of the level of the spell cast. Transient Ashes last for [1] posts increasing by 1 post in duration past level [3] or until they are removed via collision or are detonated.

⇨ Cremation | Scaled Level | Tier 3 | Mana
Ignis emits smoke and ashes using his demon tool which then envelop a target individual or object. The clouds size increases by 10ft per level. Whatever the ashes surround then ignites and then begins to burn indefinitely so long as it remains enveloped in the superheated ashes which have become nye near microscopic motes of flame until it becomes nothing but dust. Ignis may dispel but cannot manipulate these burning ashes so whatever they've surrounded can escape its perimeter but anything inside the ashes will burn for 3 posts at the intensity of its level. This is on a 5 post cooldown.

Putrid Shock, Qigong, Almighty Hell are okay!
Big Handed Shield -- I think you could actually alter the flavor text at the end about shock to actually be a 5 ft of blowback per level from successful attacks from one weapon type (light, heavy, medium; your choice). You don't have to take this buff, but if you do, you're welcome to just edit and consider yourself approved without reposting.

Dredge Line - The "level 2 or higher technique" clause should just be equivalent to the use of level of the technique since that's how they'll collide in combat.
Weight of the World - We think this one's fine just don't be sus.
Transient Ashes - We think this one's fine just don't be sus.
Cremation - Remove the flavor text "burns indefinitely" and we'll let this birdie fly.

So long as soul protect is active, witch gives off 'friendly aura'. Making it easier to calm and build trust with another. As level of witch grows, so does the quickness of calming and building of trust can happen.

At lvl 5, a witch may maintain this spell even if soul protect has been released, but the strength of the spell drops to a lvl 1 affect.

This is an interesting spell for roleplaying purposes. But it seems rather useless mechanically. I might suggest that you give this a special ability such as healing a tier of madness. This is approved in its current form but feel free to resubmit if you find it lackluster later.

This is an interesting spell for roleplaying purposes. But it seems rather useless mechanically. I might suggest that you give this a special ability such as healing a tier of madness. This is approved in its current form but feel free to resubmit if you find it lackluster later.


I didn't think about that... honestly I was worried on it being too powerful...

Ah... so maybe yeah it'll heal madness? Maybe one tier each level? Or is that too much?

⇨ Smoke and Mirrors | Scaled Level | Tier 1 | Spirit
Rogue releases ten feet of thick red smoke made from his spirit energy per level applied to this technique. The smoke is able to carry the properties of Soul Mirage techniques and perks that Rogue performs. The smoke has illusory properties and can change the appearance of the extended area based on the range of the technique. This smoke lasts for one post in duration per level applied to this technique up to three posts. The smoke can prolong the Soul Mirage techniques and perks equal to the duration of the Smoke and Mirrors technique. Smoke and Mirrors can effect up to two Soul Mirage techniques or perks at once and Smoke and Mirrors cannot be stacked with multiple uses. This technique cannot augment the duration of level five techniques. This technique itself cannot be augmented by perks.

Rogue performs this technique before colliding with an enemy spell or technique. Rogue's body as well as the weapon he is holding seemingly die and explode into a cloud of crimson smoke. The smoke then flies away and rematerializes into Rogue and his weapon up to ten feet away. This technique can only be performed twice per battle.
