⇨ Customs:
↯ All customs must be in compliance with all existing guild rules and systems.
↯ You can use custom perk slots to gain a premade perk from one of your trees.
↯ Custom perks cannot be used to stack identical abilities. Giving yourself additional, multiple opportunities in the same tree for free techniques once every five posts is not okay.
↯ Besides this no-stacking clause, most pre-made perks in similar tree types (i.e. using a perk concept from Big Guns for a custom perk in your Gauntlet tree) are okay as custom perks.
↯ This said, moderators can still decline if they suspect it will be a problem to use a certain perk under a specific tree. For example, moderators may not approve a custom T2 perk to increase range by triple or to topic-range even if there is a T1 perk to double the range.
↯ Legendary trees and certain regular trees like Madness and Soul Resonance alter combat in special ways, so custom perks for those trees fall under more scrutiny.
↯ Custom perks cannot grant immunity to Madness nor allow the user to ignore/auto-defend against Madness for any number of posts.

↯ Similarly, techniques should be reasonable and shouldn't grant auto-hitting. Techniques shouldn't be identical to other techniques in a skill tree.
↯ Techniques cannot grant perk abilities within themselves. This includes collision alterations like dodging, resource cost, or level strength. This doesn't necessarily include range limitations.
↯ Techniques are also evaluated based on the perks in the skill tree they're created for to prevent abuse or weird combat interactions.

⇨ Limits:
↯ Lower than T3 cannot alter something by two levels.
↯ Madness cannot be altered by more than two tiers.
↯ No more than two additional targets can be targeted while leaving the power of the technique undivided.
↯ Range can be increased by no more than double with one perk, unless using a custom perk in T2/T3 that builds off of a T1 range doubling perk.
↯ Perks changing how a technique functions in combat, beyond range, typically warrant five post cooldowns.

↯ Custom techniques cannot destroy whole topics.
↯ Custom techniques cannot inflict or cure more than two tiers of Madness.
↯ Custom techniques can have up to two functions unless scaled in level, as those only receive one function.
↯ Custom techniques cannot exceed three posts in duration.
↯ Custom techniques cannot alter collision (treats x defenses lower, etc.).
↯ Custom techniques cannot induce resource drain unless the base skill tree does it.

↯ Only one skill tree is the base for a given custom technique. At maximum, you may choose one perk from another skill tree to influence the custom technique, but this perk should be stated on submission of the custom technique.
