Sathanaseth lifted his head as he heard the call, turning his attention briefly towards the large gold that lay beneath her ledge as though the action meant anything. He'd been resting in the sun himself, having just been freshly washed and oiled, and Haveli stood nearby wringing out the last of the water from the towel. She moved to follow his gaze as he shifted, though not with as much motion. "Something wrong?"
Someone sharing an opinion. Nothing important. The brown rumbled his words aloud, just as the Queen had, and Haveli snorted. Sathanaseth certainly never bit back his words in a manner that made him absolutely adorable, but apart from his golden sister she'd never seen him really interact with another Gold.
This would be interesting, if only to watch her dragon be forced to interact should his conversation partner demand it. Her brown may have been able to ignore all others but a Gold? A true challenge.
"Ah, you're looking at Aedeth." The towel was wrung once more before Havlei tossed it over her shoulder. She took a few steps towards her lifemate, inspecting to see if anywhere looked dull and needed another round of oiling.
Sathanaseth lowered his head back down. Not interested.

If Aedeth was expecting a response, verbal or anything, she would get nothing. Sathanaseth wasn't the type to be riled up by words, and that was absolutely all she was offering at this point. Clearly she was the easily riled type, as Haveli turned to look and see the faint tail twitch. For his part, Sathanaseth's always red eyes seemed to whirl a bit darker crimson, nothing more. He closed both sets of lids and exhaled, getting closer down.
"Are you....picking a fight?" Havlei's tone held humor in it as she looked at the Queen and then back to her lifemate, who was doing both his best and nothing at all to ignore the taunt that was fielded their way. There was a hitch of annoyance from the brown at his rider's question, and he exhaled once more a stream of warm, smelly breath. "Sathanaseth."
He rumbled in annoyance, not even bothering to open his eyes and look at her or at the Queen. A fight requires two people. I don't care. There wasn't even a need for the common enough that people add on, which means they care at least a little, but Haveli understood that when her dragon said he didn't care he simply meant it. Apathy and aloofness were major traits of his, thought certainly not bad things.
They could be trouble, of course, if it meant picking a fight with a junior weyrwoman. A pissing contest between dragons was nothing major (to Haveli) and most could push it off as bad personality, but if said offended dragon took that feeling to their rider....then there was not much that could be done. Haveli was a junior Weyrling and a female Brownrider - she had some nice perks coming her way when they got older and graduated, but even then she'd need to keep them both grounded (figuratively) enough to prevent any problems. Especially if that other dragon was Aedeth, whom Haveli knew enough about to try and n** this in the bud.
"Seriously, Sathanaseth." The brown rumbled again, this time with a bit more force behind his annoyance.
No. Irritation now, still very mild and completely manageable, but there. I didn't start it, so why? Leave me be - go talk if you're bored. I'm sure she wants someone to fawn over her so give her that due. It was Haveli's turn to sigh, though hers was tinged with affection rather than anything else. There was something adorable about the aggression from her lifemate - even if it was directed towards her.
Haveli chuckled and shook her head. "I'd do better talking to Niobet, probably. I don't have much in common with a dragon so not a whole lot to talk about." Speaking of, she didn't see the weyrwoman over by the great gold - was she out doing something? Haveli turned and looked again, this time it could be taken for staring. If someone wanted to take it that way, of course.
