SHe had to learn English and conform to a new way of life, losing touch to her heritage because her mother wanted her to "blend in". When she was in college to study nutritional science and fitness, she began finding herself and decided to stick with her Chinese birthname over her English surname. She has always been asexual and aromantic, never once wanting a relationship in any way, and prefers friendships that have some distance to not worry about their being feelings from the other person that are being supressed.
