Oliver is a rather unusual person, given that his personality and appearance are all but polar opposites. Appearance-wise, Oliver looks frightening, with his half-shaved head and tattoos across his body. His muscles intimidate people, and his towering height, of 7' 6", make him seem like a bulked giant come to inflict fear. Oliver, however, is a gentle spirit who is respectful and has a deep desire to teach other's martial arts to improve not only their bodies but their minds. He is a philosophical person who is ambitious and knows people have limits. He wants to push people to overcome those limits in their own time, but he never wants students to hurt themselves. He is protective of students and is nicknamed the "Gentle Giant" by students. He is adored by all, and if you anger him, hell won't be a safe place for you.

Oliver is an Aussie boy through and through, growing up in the shadow of Melbourne city itself. He was raised by a single mother, his father having walked out on her when she was pregnant. Oliver found an attraction to martial arts when he was 4, and stuck with it ever since then. Martial Arts gave him the discipline he needed, but also a family and a passion to drive him through life. In his younger years, he balanced being a martial arts instructor in several styles (a black belt in: Karate, Hapkido, Judo, and Muay Thai respectively) as well as being a personal trainer at a well-known gym. Fitness alone wasn't enough, he knew that there were many with abilities who could benefit from the teachings of martial arts and turned to teaching. His own marriage had fallen through when he was making this decision, breaking his heart but he managed to recover. He treats the students with utmost respect and wants them to reach for the stars with everything they have and nothing less.
