When one teaches media, musicals, and art you know they are going to be very colorful and outspoken in every aspect of their lives. Raised by his grandmother, a retired opera singer and dancer, he was brought up with musicals over anything else. The saying "he could dance before he could walk, and he could sing before he could talk" is very true in his case. He learned to play a variety of string instruments, able to play the fiddle, cello, banjo, ukelele, guitar, and harp, but favoring the violin. He is a loud, charismatic, and always takes the time to support students in pursuing their dreams of being big in the world of music and dance.

Although bound to a wheelchair, and thus unable to teach the dance aspect of Musical Theater, he was able to help with the singing to take as much pressure off of one single teacher. One of the few paraplegic teachers, he does his best to make it through each day. It was a childhood trauma that took dancing from him by age 28. His ability to play string instruments, including the harp, and sing kept him going. His powers seldom hurt him, but he used them to help others around him cope with nightmares. He is a kind, soft-spoken person when he is by himself, but his extroverted personality means he gains energy off others.
