Here at P:ER, we try our best to help support our members by creating a friendly environment where no matter where you're from, or who you are, you can come here to escape the real world for a little while and enjoy what we all enjoy: writing and pokemon!
As part of our July 4th celebration, we’re giving you the choice between one EXP reset on a pokemon of your choice, OR you can give one Pokémon pokerus. This is applicable per character and yes, this means you can choose an exp reset for one character’s Pokémon while giving a different character’s Pokémon pokerus. Choose whichever benefit is best for you!
EXP Reset Details:
Choose a Pokémon on you character’s team. Their EXP will be reset to X/15, X being any EXP that they had prior to the reset. For instance, a Pokémon with 35/50 EXP would be reset to 35/15 EXP and immediately gain two levels, putting them at 4/17 EXP.
Due to the nature of shadow Pokémon, their EXP cannot be reset.
Pokerus Details:
Choose a Pokémon to be infected with pokerus. Once a day for 4 days, generate a number between 25 and 75 in this thread. This is the amount of EXP that your infected pokemon will receive that day. These rolls don’t have to be consecutive, so don’t worry if you miss a day. Just make sure to generate EXP four separate days and apply the EXP to your Pokémon.
The festivities don't stop there though, you may also claim one of the following red, white, or blue gift baskets;
Red Gift Basket:
x1 lv 10 fire or fighting type pokemon
x1 fire or fighting TM or TR of choice
x1 Red Flute
x1 Crystal Shard or Cherish Ball
x5 Explosive or Glow Seals
White Gift Basket:
x1 lv 10 ice or steel type pokemon
x1 ice or steel type TM or TR of choice
x1 White Flute
x1 Crystal Shard or Cherish Ball
x5 Smoke or Star Seals
Blue Gift Basket:
x1 lv 10 water or dragon type pokemon
x1 water or dragon type TM OR TR of choice
x1 Blue Flute
x1 Crystal Shard or Cherish Ball
x5 Sparkle or Mist Seals
Each gift basket also comes with a choice of the following Independence Day or Tanabata themed guild items:
x1 Patriotic Banner: A contest accessory that grants +3 cool/beauty appeal in the presentation round.
x10 Firecrackers: A trainer item that can be used to cause a small explosion. This uses up the trainer's turn as any item would, but forces the opponent to flinch.
x1 Roman Candle: Fire, Water and Ice type Pokemon holding this item gain +1 Exp point each post. The duration of effect is 4 days of active posting and once given to a Pokemon cannot be removed until the duration of effect has expired. Placing the pokemon in the PC or inactive party does not pause the duration of effect Notes: Can be used with the energy drink and the GS ball.
x1 Spirit Beads: Grants the holder immunity to Dark and Ghost type attacks for one Battle. Note: Only lasts a total of 7 days of active posting.
x1 Uchiwa Fan: Flying type special attacks get a x1.5 Attack bonus for one battle Note: Consumed after battle.
x1 Taiko Drum: Playing this Drum invigorates the fighting spirit in the pokemon it is given to, allowing exp gained in battle to be boosted x2 for 24 hours upon activation. Exp from pokemon summoned by incense cannot be multiplied by this item. Note: After the the drum has been used, the item is consumed and the timer on its effects starts.
x1 Paper Lantern: An illuminating lantern that summons ghost pokemon at level 10 for 24 hours.
x1 Leaf Umbrella: When held by a Pokemon, Water-type attacks that normally would get a +40 damage boost during Rainy Weather are instead reduced by -40. Note: Consumed after effect takes place.FAQs:
Q: Can I claim a legendary pokemon from this event?
- A: Not from this event. Usually, unless otherwise stated, legendary pokemon are not available to claim from giveaways like this.
Q: Whoops! Gaia glitched and duplicated my post. Can I delete it?
- A: Do not delete any posts in this thread! If we see that you've deleted a post in this thread, you will be suspected of cheating. Instead, let a mod know, and we will handle deleting your duplicate post.
Q: How long will this event last?
- A: Two whole weeks! So that means you'll have from July 5th, all the way to July 19th 11:59 PM PST to make your claim!
