Juu was nervous, she finally realized she liked him more than just a friend and she wasn't sure how he felt about her and the anxiety of not knowing was eating away at her.
Walking along a path she knew he traveled well she made the decision to confront him today. Though she was afraid he just viewed her as a friend and didnt know if she wanted to know the answer.
Her heart was pounding in her ears as the only female in her family walked along an unknown "path", one that may have her leave her family and join another. It could also end in her being crushed emotionally.
Did she seem nervous, gods she hoped not. "Dineo? Are you around here?" She called out, her voice echoing slightly in the silent hills of this early morning.

His constant vigil could have worn the very paths into the ground, so consistently did Dineo travel them. It perhaps made his duty moot for one who'd want to sneak past him - if they had the patience to watch his travel and see how they changed from day to day. But it also made him a very easy lion to find when one had the mind for it.
And there was one who seemed to cross his paths more often than not, these days, her voice familiar when she called out for him. "I am," he answered, stepping from his diligent pace to peer around for the lioness with perhaps a hint more eagerness than he may have had for anybody else.
