During the summer months, the Fallguard like to have friendly competition in the form of fishing! Fish are a staple food source for the creatures who live here, but during these warm times, said fish are in high abundance. Legend has it that there exists a legendary creature that lurks beneath the depths too... but none have come across it.

What do you do?
During fishing season, you can participate in fishing roleplays! At the start of your roleplay, you'll roll dice to see what outcome you'll get. After that, simply continue your roleplay as usual and, once completed, log it here in this thread. The goal is to obtain as many fishing points as possible.
Fishing points have two purposes:
1. You can spend those points on IC items and titles. You can assume that merchants are accepting your fish as payment for various items. For a list of what you can obtain, see Points post below this. **Please remember that these are IC items only, and not actual edits being added to your character. 2. Every point your character(s) earns counts as a ticket into a semi-custom raffle! More info on this will be posted below.
Rules:
- Fishing points will only be applied to the characters involved in the roleplay. - Regardless of what happens, all characters will receive a point for submitting a completed rp. Additional points are awarded depending on what you roll at the beginning of the rp. - If there are multiple people rping in one rp, you each need to submit a form for your points. (person A can post to get their's, but can't post for person B's points. B has to do it them self in order to get their points logged) - Points you accrue can be used at any point during the event. However, once fishing season ends, you will only have the following month (August) to spend them! Fish go bad, after all. - If you have excess points during that spending month, you will be allowed to gift them to another character (including to other players) so they can spend them on IC items. However, this will not count towards the receiver's final point count in regards to the raffle. That will be solely on them.

How to Play
To play, roll a 1d10 at the beginning of the roleplay for each character that is participating. (so if there are three characters in the roleplay, you will roll three dice) The following is what will happen to your character(s) during the roleplay:
1 - A whole school of fish swim past you, and you manage to catch 3 of them before they zoom away! +3 points 2 - The water you're in is completely empty. You catch nothing. +0 points 3 - It's a normal fishing day. Nothing really extraordinary happens, and you walk away with a couple fish. +2 points 4 - There are some fish here, but they're crafty! It takes some doing, but you do manage to catch one. +1 point 5 - You swipe a fish up very dramatically, but it turns and slaps you in the face before swimming away. +0 points 6 - You're great at picking a fishing spot! That, or very lucky. Either way, the fish all swam towards you the second you got close, and it was easy to walk away with a lot of them. +4 points 7 - You spot a fish, but in your over-eagerness, you accidentally scare it away. +0 points 8 - You manage to get a fish! It's sparkly and pretty... and very delectable looking. +1 points 9 - Upon getting towards the water, you spot a very big shadow in it. Getting close seems dangerous but you do it anyway... and end up with a huge fish gnawing on your leg! Yikes! +1 point 10 - Choose what happens! Regardless, you will receive +2 points
You can decide which character gets which roll, or, if you're roleplaying with someone else, they can choose to roll for them self. Don't forget that you will always receive 1 point for completing the roleplay!

Point Shop
So you're ready to spend your points? Good! Here's what you can get.... **Again, these are IC items only!
1 points : That one nice, juicy bone on the market that everyone has been eyeing. (chew on that thing like the trophy it is) 3 points : A set of fish inspired accessories, including a fish skeleton necklace, shark tooth earring, ect. 3 points : A cape made out of netting with various shells in it, crafted by the raccoon artisans of the pack. 3 points : An extra fur pelt to help keep you warm during Ventures. 4 points : IC title of Catfish Catcher 4 points : IC title of Bass Pro More prizes may be added eventually.
Semi-Custom Raffle
Each point you accrue during this event will give you a ticket into a semi custom raffle. At the end of the season (beginning of August), I'll be rolling two prizes. The first person rolled gets first pick of either of the following:
1. A semi-custom wolf dog! They must be a part of the Fallguard and must remain here for at least a month. The winner will get to choose gender and a max of 2 stock items as well. 2. A semi-custom raccoon! They must be a part of either the Fallguard or the Lost Rook, and must remain there for at least a month. The winner will get to choose gender and a max of 2 stock items as well.
