
Hel didn't like to dwell on dour thoughts for long, though, so she quickly shifted gears and began to chase a rather pretty leaf that was blowing about in the very slight breeze that carried through the mostly bare branches above her head. She pounced and missed (on purpose, leafs were hard to play with), letting her temporary friend flutter ahead of her again.
"Little sneak," she accused playfully as she lowered her front end, paws outstretched before her, rear end high in the air, tail a-wiggle. "I'm gonna get you!" She pounced again, this time pinning the leaf between her paw and the ground even as the wind picked up again to try to take it away.
"Ha! Gotcha!"
