F T C C - J O B S - G U I D E
- It is time we talk about jobs. In Earth Land, there is an organized system that Guilds utilize to intermediate Jobs (仕事 Shigoto), which Mages are able to partake in and receive reimbursement upon completion, most commonly by Jewels.
XXX。。。JOB TYPES
Jobs vary in difficulty and are divided into different ranks. The current known ranks are C, B, A, and S-Class are divided as such in order to have the Mages distinguish them by the level of difficulty involved. This also helps a Mage select a Job that is convenient for their capability. Jobs are created by the Guild Masters of each guild so jobs are primarily going to be different and unique to each other. When a job is taken and completed, that job slot is open for another to be made.
[ Special Note ] Taking jobs are crucial for a mage's growth as they are the fastest way for mages to gain experience and strength. Especially in guilds where characters have to undergo certain criteria before they can move up higher in ranks and take on more difficult jobs.
[ Special Note ] Aside from the casual jobs that are meant for experience, there is also what we call Especial Jobs that are primarily designed specifically for each guilds having their own individual mini-arcs either during or before/after a main joint arc. These Especial jobs are created for the sole purpose to either launch a mini-arc or have one being taken place to push the plot forward with your individual guild.
XXX。。。JOB APPLICATIONS
Job applications will be hosted in the FTCCs Application Station. There you will be sent directly to the Application's Request Form. Because there are two separate kinds of jobs a mage or mages can take, fulfilling a job are separated into two methods.
[ Casual Jobs ] For casual jobs, all participants will roleplay completing the job in that same thread they are applying with. These kinds of jobs will normally have either a post or paragraph or word count limit along with other requirements that will need to be met before accomplishing the job itself. When the requirements are completed and the job has been fulfilled, you must notify the Guild Captain of the completion before applying any kind of rewards.
[ Especial Jobs ] Especial jobs have a bit more leniency as far as "where" to post. Because these jobs are more primary based on a narrative standpoint, your character is able to post in the actual RP locations wherever it tells you that you need to go. These jobs can also open doors for interaction with other guild members along the way! However, when taking up a job you must narratively pick up the job (after your request gets approved of course) from your guild hall and talk to the Guild Master about it. From there, the Guild Master will provide you the details in regard to your arc that needs to be accomplished before moving forward. How these kinds of jobs typically end aren't usually the same so be mindful.
XXX。。。JOB RULES
[ 1 ] Guild Masters of each guild is responsible for creating jobs for its members to complete. When the request board starts getting too empty it is also their job to refill them
[ 2 ] When a character(s) is occupied on a job, that character is prohibited from posting anywhere else until that job is completed
[ 3 ] After a job is completed, all participants must report to the Profile Updates thread and fill out an update form before they can reap the rewards
[ 4 ] Outside members in Especial jobs Will Not reap any benefits once the jobs are completed, only those that are listed as participants. Training, learning new magic/spells are permitted
[ 5 ] Outside members in Casual jobs are PROHIBITED from joining in on a job once the request has been approved
[ 6 ] When posting job requests be sure to post it as a Normal topic
[ 7 ] Every job has its own set of requirements, however, mages can only accept jobs that are equal to their rank and below. Jobs that are higher than their rank are only accessible if another member of that rank accompanies yours
[ 8 ] Mages that have completed a job must wait 5 real-life days AND have generated at least 1,500 words in rp before they can take on another job. This is meant to prevent stacking and building your character too strong too fast.
[ 9 ] Take your time and enjoy the job!
