A more honeyed brown lines the middle of her stomach separating the mid brown stomach and the dark brown back, acting as partial stripes and tip of the tail and makes sort of a butterfly wing of an eyemask around her eyes. A little bit of white on his face, like a stripe or diamond right above the nose. The rest of him is bluish-black, but with spots like a black leopard. (I’d like more of a blue tint to his fur than the yellowish tint a black leopard has though.) Very black spots on sliiiiightly lighter black fur. I’d also like him to have his left paw in the darker black like his spots (as if it were dipped in something black), and lastly, blue eyes, like his character.
All this said, I’m down for CC with his design! There are skulls on the character’s shirt that you can feel free to add in places, or you can use the blue-black hair color in places, maybe the tail or something. I own his cosplay in SoA too, and said SoA's son ended up looking really close to how I'd like Noct to look here in Kells! So you could use either of those as reference for this design too, if you feel like it. Feel free to have fun with him. Username: RozeyBear Username: FrostyPeaches Pony names: Dying Ember (grey one, male) & Rebirth (brown one, female) History: Rebirth and Dying Ember grew up very differently. The two lived in separate herds, miles apart. They had different beliefs and cultures.
Since young, Rebirth had more often than not become the spunky and dramatic yet charismatic one of the bunch. The foal had ran ahead of the pack exploring mysterious places of the woods through their eyes. She had been warned many a times by their little nomadic pack to not stray too far away from familiar faces or the woods for she will be met with predators like the berserkers who are more bigger, stronger, and aggressive than they'll ever be. As she had matured and aged into a doe over time, and actually had seen wolves roam around the area of where they traveled and gathered while sharing the same territory, Rebirth had excelled in understanding emotions and have grown sensitive to the feelings of others around them. However, she will not reveal much about of themselves unless she completely trusts someone. And that's when Rebirth happened to cross paths with Dying Ember. The other was almost as if the opposite of themselves: Duller in colour, smaller, and much more reserved. It almost immediately caught Rebirth's interest. Dying Ember lived a sheltered life. He was smaller, weaker than the rest of his herd. He required a lot of care and attention as a foal, being prone to sickness. With so many having to stay close to him, he developed a dependency on others. That dependency turned into anxiety which made him clingy and on edge when alone. Until one day, while out with another member of the herd, he came across another pony around his age but from another herd. It was chance, or perhaps fate... but whatever it was, Dying Ember is grateful for it. In Rebirth, he found life he'd never known could exist in himself.
Over time, the two grew closer than one could have imagined. Ember remained wary, however. He wasn't certain he could trust this feeling in his chest... But Rebirth had him so fully involved. He trusted her, he was sad when she was gone... He didn't realize he loved her until he brought up a scenario for their future...
"What if a rogue attacks us?"
Rebirth had simply smiled at him and said, "Don't worry, I'll protect you. When that time comes, you can hide out in the shadows and be really quiet. And the colourful me? Hah!" She tossed her mane, lifting her chin high, "I'll taunt them and then run like the wind!" She paused, as if in thought before continuing. "And if I die before you, I'll just be reborn again! Maybe as a Berserker so I can really protect you!"
Dying Ember laughed so hard it hurt before bumping her shoulder playfully. "I don't want you to be reborn as anything... I love you like you are."
