Materials

Cloth
Abt. 2 Yards of green cotton fabric
Abt. 2 Yards of orange cotton fabric
1 Yard Gray flannel
2 Yards of Black pleather (or black flannel, fleece, or felt with the same amount of interfacing)

Sewing Accessories
3 circular yellow buttons (If you can't find any buy gold ones and buy yellow paint)
Abt. 5 Yards Elastic

Simplicity Pattern 5359

Craft Material
2 Pieces of orange felt sheets
2 Pieces of yellow felt sheets
1 2x2 feet foam sheet abt 3 or 4 inch thick.
Black Sharpie
1 sheet of yellow craft foam (Or 1/4 yard of yellow fleece or 1 sheet of yellow felt)

Main Pieces

Shirt

For my top I bought a sleeveless silky black turtleneck. You can buy a turtleneck with sleeves and take off the sleeves or make one from scratch (which I wouldn't recommend for a new sewer).

I found some small circular gold buttons, which I painted yellow, and attached three of them to the top of the turtleneck to complete the top.

Pants

The pants will take you the longest time. Since there is no fabric that has the same volume or coloring as Ms. Joke's pants, you need to use some orange and green cotton fabric and put them in strips.

I need 4" strips for the green and 3" strips for the orange. Make sure to cut them the long way on your fabric.

Once everything is in pieces you need to sew the pieces together in an Orange/Green/Orange pattern. Once you're done you can then use it to cut out your pants.

The pattern I used for my costume was Simplicity 5359, modified for the shortness of the pants, however you could use Simplicity 2777 without the lace bottom or any other type of bloomer as long as it can be adjusted to reach just above your knee.

For the boots. I hand some ankle lace up that I used. I have special shoe needs and it would have been hard to find the correct shoes in my size.
