Lord Macaron Not sure if my question makes sense, haha but it has been ages since I've logged into gaia and I noticed that some usernames are highlighted with a certain colour (often accompanied by a symbol gaia_angelright on the left) Is this linked to becoming an angel subscriber? Would appreciate any explanation

I think the item you're looking for are Gaia Pledges because it says in the guide I've linked to:
Pledge items should add a glow around the username and are purchased from the Gaia Pledge Page
Flairs do not necessarily have a glow and are obtained through other methods (usually the Gaia Rewards Page)
And
The keyword if you're searching on the Marketplace is "gaiapledge"
