XX。。。MAGE APPLICATION SAMPLE
XXXXXBandash had continued to explore the village, looking at various things that he could possibly do to pass the time. He had bought some rope to play with and then a hunting kit for his to go hunting at a nearby island. He had managed to catch a tarantula….But only made 5,500 beli back. Bandash wasn't really sure why he was waiting here at this island, perhaps he was afraid that there was a chance, just a slight chance things will go instantly wrong once he set's out to sea. Like what if his Dad tailed Otto and his ship here and was waiting for Bandash to get out into the open? He couldn't have that...Not after escaping from that hell. Sure thanks to his dad's rigorous training he was definitely stronger, faster, and more durable compared to the average fifteen year old. Luckily he only had Bandash fight in the coliseum twice a week, the other days being sparing and heavy training with his Dad. Bandash simply couldn't understand why Danbash was being so kind to him when they first met then became cruel the minute some guy tries to kill his son. Was he angry because his son almost died? Or was it because his son was so weak at the time? He simply couldn't tell and he couldn't help but constantly wonder why he did it, was it out of love or disappointment? One day Bandash might be brave enough to ask, but until then he will have to build it up. Eventually Bandash had found something to do, a man who dressed as though he was a farmer had a worried look on his face. Curious, the young Pirate had walked over to him "Excuse me mister! Can I ask what's wrong?" Bandash had asked the man politely, hoping he could help in some way. The man, who had very long legs, making Bandash assume he was from the Longleg Tribe that he had heard about from his dad. From what he knew, they were pretty valuable as slaves to humans, a fact Bandash truly did not care for, but they apparently very strong kickers, which made sense to the young pirate. Bandash also knew of the Longarm Tribe, who like the Longleg Tribe, could be sold off as slaves for 700,000 which simply was disgusting to Bandash. Human lives were something that should be cherished not just used as tools! The very thought of it made his angry. If people wanted a friend so bad they should just go and talk to someone! Not use money to get whatever they wanted; if Bandash ever had a chance, he would free a bunch of slaves. Other than the legs, the man wore red overalls that only went down to his knees, likely due to the length of legs, which made his appearance slightly funny. He also wore a pink flannel under the overalls as well as a sun hat that had a single sunflower tied to the side of it. His face was rather wide, his lips big and pink while his eyes were slanted, he also had a scruffy beard, plus his nose was almost like that of a pitbull’s as not only was it flat but snot was constantly leaking from it. The Longleg had looked down at Bandash before pulling out a handkerchief from his overall’s pocket, blowing his nose rather violently before speaking. “Y-Y-Y-Y-Yes!!!!! My...My poor animals have escaped!!!” He cried before sobbing, as though they had all been killed; Bandash felt bad for the guy, sure he’s never had a pet but he understood what it felt like to lose someone or something you considered family.
Bandash couldn’t sit there and let this man cry like this and possibly lose what he assumes is his only family. “Okay! Where is there pen?” Bandash had asked the Longleg, holding a determined look on his face; as he said this, the Longleg had looked down at Bandash, holding a confused look as the young boy before his said this. “B-But….But you don’t even know me! W-W-W-W-W-Why you would help meeee?! I-It’s for beli isn’t it?!” He yelled, truly believing that Bandash is only here for the beli. To the farmer, many people could be selfish, in fact there was a disproportionate amount of greedy people out in the world, it was almost sickening that some people wouldn’t go out of their way to help others. But Bandash would give his a answer that he would not expect. "No! You need help so I don’t want beli just to help you!” Bandash had yelled back, catching the attention of the other villagers. Bandash was in no way greedy, he did not care how much beli or how much influence someone had, if he wanted to help them he would help them, if they did something that pissed him off, he would beat them up. If at all possible, Bandash would like to be able to help everyone without charging them anything, just so they could go and help someone else. The Longleg was at a brief moment of shock, the boy before him was among the rare few that would actually do something kind for zero charge at all. This was spectacular! Calming down a bit, the man had slightly smiled before taking Bandash to his farm. There it seemed the the lock to the cow’s barn was completely broken off, same went for the chicken coop. This was obviously done by someone...Or at least something strong enough, if it was either it could be they simply wanted to eat, but then again it could just be done out of anger towards the farmer. Either way Bandash was going to help his out. “Did you see which direction they might have went?” He asked the farmer who had nodded before pointing towards a small patch of woods. Looking at the direction he pointed, it seemed that the trees were smaller compared to the others by the village, so perhaps finding them will be easy. Looking back at the sniveling farmer, Bandash smiled at him and held out his right pinky “Let’s make a promise okay?” He would say to the Farmer in a happy tone with a big toothy smile. Hesitantly, the farmer had wrapped his pinkie around Bandash’s. “I pinky promise to get your cows and chicken back unharmed! Ad you gotta promise not to give me anything in return!” He stated proudly before waiting for shaking his pinkie with the Farmer’s. After he done so, he had ran off into the woods, the rope out and ready for something. The farmer simply couldn’t believe that this young boy was doing this for free, he hadn’t asked anything in return. The farmer honestly wanted to give his a hefty amount of beli for his animals’ safe return...But he could only guess Bandash would turn away the offer. Before he could get away too far, the farmer ran and stopped Bandash, giving him some advice on herding cattle which the young man quickly memorized before heading out into the woods. This was fun to the young man as, thanks to the training he had to endure on the same island Danbash through him onto, he was rather used to dealing with animals especially when hunting them, but he has never herded them before.
As Bandash ran straight ahead into the woods, he could only smile as he was ready to gather the cattle. Not only would he get to try something new, but he was helping someone as well! Honestly it was spectacular to help people in need, but only if by helping them other people weren't hurt. Sure hurting bad guys was fine, but hurting good people? Bandash wouldn't dream of it! He'd do absolutely nothing to harm any good person! Unless they wanted to fight him, in which case Bandash will do so. The young man was never really for fighting people that he considered his friends, but if they wanted to fight him he definitely would do it, seeing it as a way to pass the time or training. Eventually he had heard mooing nearby and grinned as he quickly stopped and knelt down, unraveling the rope before tearing it into six pieces, forming each end into a lasso before tying each of the opposite ends to each other, making what one could call a hydra rope. Smiling he had took the newly formed roped and dashed towards the cows before throwing the lassos over each of their six heads. With the ropes around the necks, Bandash had begun to drag and pull the rope back towards the farm. Luckily for him the cows seemed passive enough to simply follow him which told Bandash that they didn't break the lock. Cow's were funny and cute creatures in Bandash's mind, from them having patches of white or black on their fur, to the noises they make, even weirdness that was their utters. In truth, Ririko wanted to own her own farm when she was little, she wanted to name each animal and simply raise them, not taking anything from them but the cow's milk. To her that would be her family, though she wanted to marry a prince as well. Ririko was a girl that always wore her heart on her sleeve, always making sure that everyone knew exactly how she felt. She was never one to lie about anything and that was something Bandash liked about her, the like of lying.
There was one point during their childhood that after Bandash had failed in standing up for her, she had totally lost it. She was crying and yelling at Bandash, telling him that she could fight for herself. Despite her words, Bandash knew she simply didn't like seeing him like this, but there was no stopping him from protecting her. If he had allowed all those bullies to pick on her, then he would have no right to call himself her brother, he'd be a bad person. He wished Ririko was still alive so he could be on this adventure with her..But sadly that wasn't the case and it made Bandash deeply sad whenever he thought about it. Just as a single tear was about to roll down his cheek, he quickly wiped it away so that the Farmer wouldn't see it. Seeing a tear might lead to the assumption something awful enough to make Bandash cry had happened in those woods. The farmer was already in distraught, he didn't need to feel any more of it. As the Longleg Farmer saw all six of his cows back, he had bursted into happy tears before rushing at them, hugging each of them tightly as he kissed their foreheads. "T-T-T-T-T-Thhhhhaaaaaannnnnnkkkkk Yooooooooouuuu!!!!" The Longleg Farmer exclaimed loudly before hugging Bandash tightly and swung him around as though he was some teddy bear. Bandash was happy to see him so happy, but he was being crushed at this point. "E-Excuse me b-but I still need to get your chickens." Bandash said to him as the Longleg, realizing that he had gotten a bit too excited, had gently place him on the ground and bashfully rubbed the back of his head "S-S-S-Sorry..." He apologized. Smiling Bandash had shook his head at the Longleg Farmer as though it wasn't a big issue; Bandash loved seeing people getting affectionate over one another as it showed their true emotions towards that person. Not only that, but it was a heart warming sight to see; this however made Bandash feel slightly lonely as he doubted this man would follow him on his adventures.
The young pirate had begun to stretch a bit, he was getting ready to catch the chickens next, which he imagined might be difficult. "Hey! Are there any hints you could give me on catching and bringing back your chickens?" Bandash had asked the Longleg, not really sure how to catch chickens in the first place. First, Bandash would have to sneak up on them, quietly as to not make any noise. That bit was easy due to the amount of time Bandash has spent on uninhibited islands thanks to his father. There he would have to hunt for his food constantly. At first doing that wasn't fun in the slightest, and soon enough it became a game to the young man. Each time he caught his dinner, he would increase the time limit in which he would have to catch them, otherwise he would not have dinner that night. Once he was thrown onto a new island he would start the game over. Eventually hunting had become an easy task for the young man and survival had become just as easy as well. Once that explanation was over the Farmer then told him it was best to use chicken feed as bait, that was something he understood as well. He had often used various baits to allure animals, whether it was barriers or meats from animals he caught the night before. In truth, Bandash felt bad for hunting animals, they probably had families and lives of their own, but he needed to survive. With the explanation complete, Bandash smiled and nodded before dashing into the woods once again. The Longleg Farmer was happy this young man was doing so much for him, a total stranger. "Alright cows, let's get you back into the barn." He would say to them before grabbing the "hydra rope" and lead them to the barn. This Longleg was an outcast from his own village, the reason? He was framed for a murder and later learned it was because of his own bounty. The Longleg had at one point robbed multiple farms from animals that were malnourished. Never bothering to get his side of the story, he was given a bounty of 300 beli. One of him tribesmen had sold him out solely for the beli, it was because of his actions that lead to the Longleg's mistrust. Luckily pirates had attacked the marine vessel the Farmer was on, giving him a opportunity to escape, leading up to wash ashore Bancho Village. Just as he was about to enter the barn, a familiar face had met his sights; the face belonged to the same Longleg who had sold him out all those years ago. The traitor had a devious look on his face and it was made clear to the Farmer who broke the locks. "So this is where you've been hmmmmmmmm?" The traitor had said in a malicious voice as the farmer had become afraid. He did not fear for his own life, but for the lives of his animals and for the child that was helping him.
