This will be run a little differently than our usual firelizard raffles.
1. It will be ticket based! This means one post per person in Echoes of Pern. In that post you can post as many couples as you desire. Colorists will roll from the ticket list in a separate thread. For every two people they roll from they may then sweep in and pick a CC pair. Rinse and repeat.
2. If you don't have any firelizards at all, please let Mr Cheri or Uta know via DM or PM because it is the season of giving, and I'm sure we can scare one up for you. gaia_star
3. Please keep in mind we will be running a "mix & match" thread in another contest! This will be where you can house any single firelizards who aren't posted in this thread, and colorists can mix-and-match as they see fit to gift the owners some eggs!
4. To reiterate -- please understand that by posting firelizards in this thread, you cannot post them in the mix & match thread! Likewise, any firelizards posted in the mix & match thread can't be posted here--this is meant for "dedicated" pairs only or pairs that players would like to see paired together!
Please read the rules below as some may have been altered for this seasonal event!

Some Things To Keep In Mind
Golds can be paired with bronzes and browns.
Greens can be paired with bronzes, browns, and blues.
If your Gold or Green has bred in the past 3 months, she may not be entered in this!
A male can be entered with multiple females in the same raffle opening, as long as their entry abides by all other rules.
Like dragons, the firelizards bonded may be affected by the flight. This isn't nearly as strong as a dragonflight, but the flits bonded may feel a bit friskier that day. Firelizard owners under 15 Turns will find the flight lust has no effect on them.
Only gold firelizards have the opportunity to produce a gold egg, and there will only ever be one in a clutch, if there's one at all.
The eggs will be dropped under The Dawn Sisters mule once a colorist finishes designing them.
The eggs appearance will not be indicative of what color flit is inside.
Firelizard babies might -- or might not -- inherit markings after their parents. It is entirely up to the colorist!
There is no restriction on keeping firelizards location together. While they will most likely breed with those in the area, they are fairly independent creatures, even when bonded, and tend to come and go as they see fit. Just like in the books, they have no problem gong long-distances, or appearing out of nowhere, so it's very possible they could show up anywhere on Pern.
How you guys decide to divvy up the eggs OOC and ICly is 100% between you and the person you entered with! Staff will NOT get involved to solve any headaches or messes, and will only intervene if someone breaks a rule.
Each owner of the parents may only keep up to 2 eggs per clutch. If you own both parents, that's still only 2!
Please remember that extra eggs must be given away freely to other people. Even if you run a contest, it must be free!
ICly, it is okay to say your characters found the clutch and sold the eggs for marks, or gave them away freely; it's also okay to say the owners didn't find the clutch, but someone else did, and sold the eggs as they traveled. It really doesn't matter -- firelizard eggs are transported all over Pern, so long as the clutch owners are happy with the story, that's fine!
OOCly, it is okay to enter firelizards even if you have no made up a character sheet for their bonded! It is also okay to enter purely for the OOC fun, and not really care ICly how it all works out. Flit breeding raffles are not just for players who RP!
Once you've given out the eggs, one of the parents of the breeding MUST list all eggs and owners in the Firelizard Egg Ownership thread here. Clutches that aren't listed won't hatch!
ICly, remember, the character who wishes to Impress a firelizard must feed them first upon hatching. OOCly, you may hold onto the egg and firelizard as long as you need to if you don't have a character ready to bond to it immediately, and can bond it to someone you see fit later.
Once bonded, the firelizard is the characters forever and will only die when their owner dies; or abandon them if they are mistreated and abused.
The Rules
Firelizard breedings cost 500,000,000 gold =OR= 50 platinum. You can pay this either half and half to the colorist OR just have one person pay entirely. These are free! Happy Holidays!
You may only have your name on up to two firelizard couple pairings. These can both be a self-couple (meaning you own both mating flits), both be a standard pair (meaning you enter with another shop goer), or you may have one of each. You may enter as many couples as you wish per post.
You must have permission to enter with someone else's firelizard. Do not just enter them without asking! If we find out someone doesn't have permission to enter a flit, you could be banned from entering future flit raffles, or worse.
Do not edit your post after you post it! Editing grammar errors or typos is fine, but please don't change the couple, as we may be updating the list as couples are entered.
If you change your mind after you enter, please strike out your post, post in bold red that you are cancelling a pair, and make sure the colorist is aware! Also, if you are cancelling a pair, make sure the other own (if applicable) is aware!! Don't enter willy-nilly. There will always be more raffles!
