xxLOCH KATRINExxS C O T L A N D Located in the Trossachs area of the Scottish Highlands, Loch Katrine is a sizeable and rather scenic loch that is known to be home to kelpies. Being a popular tourist attraction for muggles, several magizoologists work there to help prevent muggles from falling prey to them and ensure that existence of kelpies remains hidden. It is the current workplace of Elizabeth Whyte.

xxABOUT THE MAGIZOOLOGISTxxxxxxxxx

.ELIZABETH 'LIZZY' WHYTExx
Lizzy started working at Loch Katrine as a magizoologist in fall 2044 after graduating from Hogwarts. She always had a soft spot for animals, especially water creatures like kelpies, which was why she had her heart set on studying them. At Loch Katrine, she is a member of a small team of magizoologists who tame kelpies, study them and gather supplies for wandmakers, all while keeping their existence hidden from muggles.
She works there from 8am to 4pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and from 12pm to 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
xxABOUT THE MAGICAL CREATURExxxxxx

.KELPIExx
Beast; XXXX
Kelpies are shape-shifting water demons native to the British Isles. While they can take any form (notably, a kelpie in Loch Ness takes the form of a sea serpent and is known as the Loch Ness monster), they typically appear in the form of a horse with a mane of bulrushes. They feed on unwary travellers by luring them onto their backs then dragging them down underwater before eating them.
Kelpies can be tamed and rendered docile by putting a bridle over their heads using a Placement Charm. Their hair can be used as a wand core and is sought after by wand-makers.
