Sully wasn't sure if it was a fluke that let her get seeded or actual generosity...Nah, definitely a coincidence. And she took happy advantage of it to rest and drink and double check on Echo's progress. Fighting was the exact opposite of what she liked to spend her time doing (and indeed was antithetical to her whole job), not out of fear or weakness but because she knew it simply wasn't her thing, anymore than it was her thing to fly like a bird. And doing something not-her-thing was an inefficient use of her time.
But apparently, being in a pack meant socializing and doing events. Who'd have thought?
Her opponent, naturally, had to be one of her new nephews. Sigh. Wasn't this the overeager one? At least his brother had the courtesy to stay quiet...
"Well, let's just get this over with." Sighing, the healer dove at Nightingale.

as nightingale settled his fit of laughter and turned to see his next opponent a look of utter shock crossed his face, he wasn't even sure how he ended up in the next round as neither him or his battle partner laid a single hit on one another. " oh cra..." before he could finish that statement he saw his aunt coming right for him, some how managing to duck just in time he turned to attack in return but no luck he too missed. medigel sorry for super late reply D:

he felt a good bap to his muzzle, things weren't quite going so well for him ,she was fast, and he wanted to try harder he tried to strike but missed " danm" well well see how the rest of the battle goes auntie" he said with a grin.

Auntie. Ugh. ECK. Sully never thought she would have disliked feeling old, but her nephew had helped her uncover something about herself.
"No 'rest of the battle' here, thanks. We're finishing this right now." She just wanted to get back to the healing dens, not...flail in open view and look like an idiot. With a growl, she went for one last (half-hearted) launch.

he laughed a bit and gave another attack charging in after her miss and gave her quite a good hit (for once) the first hit he made all battle and spar session he felt a little more confident but at the same time he was having his butt handed to him by his aunt " hows that ?" he asked preparing for the next attack.

...Why wasn't the damn bird calling it already? Hadn't she made it clear she wasn't cut out for this stuff yet? Fine.
Mudsullied Jackal waited this time, eye twitching from the last blow, and considered her options like she would consider herbs. She had never been the most sociable (especially compared to someone like Blood Falcon, who thought snakes were cute and friendly); battle banter was certainly low on her list of skill acquisition. She might have felt bad she wasn't trying to bond more with her sister's sprog--you know, if she wasn't so concentrated on just finishing this battle.
Without any finesse, Sully lunged for Nightingale's back. If she could pin him down for a few seconds, then maybe...

he stumbled back a bit after that hit, she was definitely fierce and she was getting him good "ow that one kinda hurt" he grinned howerver a glutton for punishment he didnt know his aunt was so cool as he attempted to hit her again but stumbled a bit missing his attack.
