•Event Posting Rules•
Each individual is given at most [3] days maximum to post since the last post made. Failing to do so will lead to all attacks from an attackers post to land and the individual who failed to post will have been considered to either have lost or surrendered. A [2] day extension at maximum is allowed if the other participants and the MC is made aware. When a battle ends and a winner is decided quote 'Necroplant'
•Out of Bounds•
The Arena spans a 100-foot Diameter. One can either win by rendering the opponent unconscious or having the target touch the ground in the Out of Bunds area which is 20 feet extending from the borders of the arena. Naturally, competitors can concede and surrender. If thrown into the air a barrier will prevent an individual from flying out the arena but will result in an impact equivalent to hitting an impenetrable wall.
•No Killing Blows•
If an attack would result in possible death or cause the individual to enter a near-death state the competitor is disqualified.

Shion took a look at the ring's surface and stuck out her tongue in disgust. Really? A slime fight? Well, at least she wasnt being beaten over the head with blaring toons. with a sudden leap and a quick hand seal, and Shion flowed a layer of chakra to her feet to create a seal between her and the floor. "I may need your help on this one, Matatabi," she'd say to her friend via headspace demon magic.

Her eyebrow rose softly. Damn it. Why couldn't she still have the other arena. Oh well. With that, she did some handseals and got onto the floor as the chakra were being sent to her feet to be able to walk around on this floor. At least this time, her opponent was actually here. It was a shame she can't use her bloodline in this one, she wanted to finally try it out. Perhaps some other time. Without saying a word, she did some more handseals with her hand as a mist engulfed the area and a hidden handseal was done in her mouth as she had the mist vision so she can see clearly.

Mist Vision Technique [ Kiri Shikaku no Jutsu ] | Rank D Passive A technique usually used with the Hidden Mist Technique, the Mist Vision technique allows the user to see through the heavy mist, steam, or any other condition caused by water in the air. The technique is passive and activates when the user's vision would otherwise be obstructed by mist. When within a fog or mist, the user must use D-Rank chakra during the first post of use followed by an E-Rank amount as upkeep, this allows the user to see through all mist or steam as long as this is active regardless of rank. Does not consume an activation to be used. Negates any blindness status caused by moisture in the air.

SHIONxxxxxMORI Fog, eh? Seemed her opponent preferred to avoid a direct confrontation; fair enough, she guessed. Rather than pursue her enemy, Shion took a moment to steady herself. Without the ability to utilize her bloodline, Shion needed to approach this cautiously. She couldnt afford to go in guns blazing like normal. This was a new enemy with a new fighting style and her usual method of overpower and overwhelm was barred. Instead, Shion steadily drew the blade she kept sheathed over her back. "Be on alert, Matatabi. I may need to call on you soon." A confirming purr would echo back within her head. Right, now it was time to wait it out and see where the first volley would come from.
"Oh..what the ******** god damn it." It turned out the sensor had discerned that Nozomi's mist that cloaked the field had been a ruse to disguise that she was surrendering...the sensor would engage in a discussion with the girl within the mist to be told she simply didn't feel her place here was 'earned' which was reported back to Kagayaku"God damn it, this can't happen twice...I promised these people a fight...that mist won't last forever..." Suddenly the MC would look to the man next to him. Trefles who was currently overseeing the events. "Well...now bon. I suppose you simply can't account for the actions people take in pursuit of their honor and nobility...aaah..monsiuer Kagayaku why do you look at me in such a way?" Eyes sparking with both anger and opportunity. "WE'RE NOT DOING THIS AGAIN YOU HOSTED THIS TOURNAMENT AND THE KAGE IS OUT SO YOUR GOING IN!"N...now hold on technically Sh..Shion is..." without any further arguments Nozomi under the cover of the mist would be swapped out for the Frenchman when the mist cleared he'd be on he'd be standing awkwardly in the arena in Nozomi's place. "YOU WERE PROMISED A FIGHT AND YOUR GOING TO GET ONE PEOPLE! WHILE SHION MORO IS THE WINNER OF THE MATCH AN UNSANCTIONED BONUS SPECTACLE IS GOING TO TAKE PLACE RIGHT HERE AND RIGHT NOW FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT!

"Let us just give them a bit show yes, you've already won yes no need to really go all out bon? I simply couldn't bear the guilt of injuring a fragile young beauty."
SHIONxxxxxMORI Well, this certainly was not how Shion wanted to win this match, but a win is a win. She could have walked away, but the opportunity to fight for fun was an offer Shion would never refuse. No stakes, no breaks, full speed ahead. Shion would pivot on her heel, swinging her free leg upwards at Trefles in a wheeling kick as the man taunted her. "You're on, but dont think I'm losing to some dorky inventor." If the crowd wanted a show, she could put on a little spectacle for them. Given Trefles' reputation, she was sure he'd do the same.
The man's gloves would change pigments in that instant when he witnessed Shion reeling for her kick. He felt a tingle as he often did before something unfortunate was about to happen. With simply two fingers raised Shion's leg would make contact with but two fingers having been stopped in their tracks entirely as the wind from the impact shook the stadium. "I'm sure you'll find I've a little je ne sais quoi mademoiselle." The man would say in jest. It was still, however, in his nature to never lay a hand on a lady in harm, due to it being more than likely that summoning his trinity would be a clear violation of the rules he'd have no choice but to have the arena work with him to his advantage. Still to make for a better show he'd certainly goad the girl seeing as he wouldn't be striking her.
"Such a passionate soul, it is no wonder moi patron speaks so fondly of you bon. Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?" This chatter was to serve a distraction, for you see with some choice sleight of hand the leg and foot which was currently halted in the air and the cushioning of chakra beneath it, as if having pinched something the bartender did remove the coating of chakra on Shion's sole in such a way it seemed he was simply being garish and flamboyant, so that if it were to make a connection with the ground again it would most certainly find itself in a sticky situation. Unless of course, Shion found for any reason his flamboyant hand motions suspicious in any way. After all, truth be told, this would be the first time these individuals would meet as anything other than just a quick how do you do in the same office.
Had he succeeded he'd be spared having to pay for maintaining his own maintaining of avoiding the ground. Either or he'd have taken a leap back a fair distance to finish his taunting. "Thy maketh men not wish to leave their homes bon." His words were incredibly flowery to the point it would take some processing if Shion actually cared and if she did process it she'd realize that the bartender essentially just called her ugly. A show needed drama after all and since that could not be achieved on his end with violence he could only do so with taunts and jest. Here's was hoping he would not regret it later. Overall though the exchange, it hardly seemed like he struggled even in the slightest. Thus the revelation the Frenchman wasn't any 'mere' inventor would definitely need to be taken into consideration. He was a far cry from his former string bean self but intimidating...definitely not as he seemed to be soaking up the limelight from the cheering crowd.

The outfit heightens an individual's perception at opportune times consider it something of a slow-motion quick time event scenario. Whenever the wearer is in danger, or something unfortunate is about to happen a very brief moment of time slows. A 'spidey sense' if it were. This simply makes it so that techniques that would often catch a person off guard from sheer speed alone can be reacted to easier. Once per post, {Wearer ignores enemies speed descriptives} It also grants an increased ability to sense motives i.e not having any evidence someone is lying but being pretty certain they are.
•Haetataki [ Flyswatting ] Rank: E :: Simple > {Becomes C} Description: Closing a pair of chopsticks holding them patiently with a significant amount of focus, one will swat and attack oncoming away, as one would a fly. This technique has been known to make even the most fearsome techniques fail to connect and is most well known for the student master trope aura it produces. [Ignores the DR of the oncoming Attacks, Ignores Overwhelming Tags] [Ineffective Against Ninjutsu] [Parried Attacks must be primarily Physical in Nature]
•Bubun shokuji [ Portioning Meal ] Rank: D :: Complex > {Becomes C} Description: This technique takes the principles of [Guiding Willow] improves upon it and refines it. The user may take any effective chakra based 'buffs', 'debuffs', or 'attributes' take it and place it on another, they may re-arrange and re-distribute said remaining durations as they see fit. However, if the plucked trait is not transferred by the next post it returns to where it was originally with [1] less duration. The rank of this technique is used to determine the strength of the plucking technique itself for collisions. Meaning one could pluck a S-ranked buff with an E-rank pluck assuming that E-rank pluck somehow connected.
SHIONxxxxxMORI His patron? Oh great. Not only did some dork have a crush on Shion, but he was gushing about her to a bartender over drinks. I mean, it was possible that it was just Toso talking about his most elite soldier bar none, but c'mon... a girl can dream; though perhaps now was not the best time to be doing such dreaming. When Shion's foot broke its connection with Trefles' fingers and landed back on the ground, it would find no cushion of chakra keeping her safe.
A soft squeltching sound would fill the immediate area and Shion would find her attention diverted downwards. A quick tug of her leg would confirm the worst of it; she had been stuck in the goo. "Huh... neat trick," she would find herself mumbling as the Oni went about his wordy insults. Goodness how she wished she could just make him shut his mouth right there. That played-out Shakespearean crap made her want to wretch. Channeling a quick burst of chakra into her feet, Shion freed herself from the gooey floor coating.
Using the momentum of the chakra blast, Shion pivoted into a quick spin, lashing outwards at Trefles with her drawn blade even though she had not closed the gap he had just made. In the briefest of moments, the blade's edge would glow red as flamed flickered along its edge. The flames would grow larger and larger, threatening to engulf the girl in her own chakra, until the raging inferno would be directed towards her opponent at the last second and carved a path through the floor hazard as the attack moved across the arena.
Techniques Used: - Water Walking - D-rank - A-rank chakra to break free - Flame Spin Rain Rank: X :: Complex [B-rank --> A-rank] Description: The user slashes their weapon, releasing an elemental attack of their elemental affinity. The elemental attack takes the shape of a twister that grows five feet in width and ten feet in height per rank of the technique. This technique has a maximum range of fifty feet. If encountering a ninjutsu that is compatible with the element used, the user may pay the cost of the technique encountered and absorb the opposing attack and add it's nature to the original attack which continues after this encounter.
"Tres magnifique mademoiselle...néanmoins" As the flaming arc made its way towards the butler he merely bowed with one of his palms front-facing. The gloves had again made a distinct color change back to a traditional white like a vacuum the flames were swallowed and then as he rose from his bow in his hands would be a cocktail shaker. This fight ultimately creating an air of Shion being outmatched in a humorous manner. Of course, this was not the case. "Such a fervent spice, shall I add some sugar to the mix non?" The cocktail shaker was then shaken rapidly and like a carnival gag did he open it towards the sky and shoot outwards into the sky popping in a display almost akin to fireworks as it rained down tiny flames. The crowds would ooo and ahhh. The cocktail shaker would then vanish.
"Quel malheur, it seems I'm already running out of tricks up my sleeve. Would you like to know a most intriguing fact about moi? I've not a single known...comment dites-vous, ah ninjutsu." This was a half-truth of course. Still in his years abroad despite his affinities for Raiton and Fuuton he hadn't trained a single technique within those affinities. His prowess were all his own. A self-made man in a sense. Simultaneously it was also a taunt essentially saying a man with lacking skills was 'schooling' her.
-Coup de main {French For: Helping Hand} •House Special: The gloves can absorb enemy ninjutsu by paying the cost of a jutsu assuming it does not exceed the gloves capacity, in these instances it acts similarly to the element sealing method extending to bloodline and custom techniques. If there are two ninjutsu respectively in either glove by putting both palms of the gloves together and pulling them apart a cocktail shaker appears. The cocktail shaker is then shook and a Korabo is performed between the two jutsu. It's to be noted the user themselves can't use their own jutsu unless first having trained their Korabo to appropriate levels. If the techniques attempted to be sealed exceed the limits of the gloves the attempt fails likely ending in injury. Has a cooldown between uses.
SHIONxxxxxMORI He blocked it... of course he blocked it. It was starting to look like Trefles had joined this fight for the sole purpose of humiliating Shion; he was going to pay for that. Of course, Shion had no way of knowing the man's true intent. Birds of a feather flock together, so he very well could have been just another eccentric soul drawn to Toso's nerd-aura. It didn't matter though. She'd find a way to answer his fancy tricks. If ninjutsu and bukijutsu werent working, it was beginning to look like Shion would have to fall back to her old tried-and-true mantra. Fist solve all.
Sheathing her blade, Shion suddenly became surrounded by an ominously potent aura of roaring chakra. It was certainly similar to one of her own custom techniques, but Bloodline techniques were currently off limits. No, this was no layer of bakuton chakra; this was the Kaiser armor. Now fully equipped in her shell, Shion took off in a dead sprint, closing the gap between her the barkeep, reeling her arm back for a punch as she did. She knew the lethality of the move she was about to commit to. Shion wasn't looking to kill the man; she wasn't even looking to make contact with him. Every attack that had done nothing to Trefles had one thing in common: physical contact. Perhaps if he let the shockwave bounds the man, she could win that way. Shion's armored fist ripped through the air, stopping inches away from the Oni's core. As her blow halted, a mighty gale of wind would threaten to blow the man clean off his feet. Yeah... this had to work.
Techniques Used: - Kaiser Armor | Rank S | Spiritual The Kaiser armor is a staple of the style. In it's base form it is not visible to the naked eye but chakra floods every inch of the user's body. While active, the armor prevents damage equal to it's own rank. In addition, it prevents the user from having their DR decreased below their natural passive states.This armor lasts for three posts at C rank and an additional post for every rank additionally applied.
- Kaiser Fist | Rank A --> S+ | Complex A powerful straight forward punching attack that requires the Kaiser Armor be active. The user gathers their chakra into their fist, releasing it in a straight punch, rotating the fist as they extend the arm outward. The strike releases a fifty foot wave of concussive force that easily bruises those who are impacted by it. If stricken directly by the user's fist, bones are easily shattered. The user's strength is increased slightly per rank of the technique.
- Sudden Straight | Rank C | Complex The user channels chakra into their fist, releasing a straight punch at blinding speeds. For each rank of the technique the user's speed is increased by a mild amount. If unblocked, the user's speed is transferred to strength during damage calculations for this attack.
A curious occurrence Bonne Chance's tingling sensation would not alert the bartender to any impending threats when it came to Shion's advance. Thusly it implied that Shion was unlikely to follow through with her attack...and yet that rose the question as to what exactly it was she was intent on doing? It was, however, best not to chance it as curious as he was. After all, the bartender had an absolutely abysmal pain tolerance. On Shion's approach in an instant, the gloves shifted into a blue pigment and looked well rather feminine in design. A blue pellet formed in the gloves hand and was thusly slammed into the ground in tandem with an apologetic bow. The pellet which burst into a glittery display of sparkling blue smoke. Which would then shortly be blown away by the force of Shion's strike scattering to the edges of the barrier. The bartender was gone, the faint trace of floral scents left behind to offend or grace Shion's nostrils.
"Par ici Mon âme!" The voice would ring playfully from behind her reappearing in a puff of the same blue smoke. The sound of a finger-snapping and should Shion turn around a fair distance away was the bartender carrying a war fan. Without so much as another word it would have been swung as a massive gust of air quite literally filled the entire 100-ft area of the arena and then some even the bartender himself clearly being subject to the winds that filled this confined dome as his hair majestically fluttered. The goop which lined everything flecking off like gross boogers. Despite the strength of the wind, however, Shion wouldn't find that it was particularly abrasive in any manner. Only shortly would she then discover the strength of her Kaiser Armor leaving her.
"That certainly appeared as if it would have left a bruise of two bon. I do hope you did not consider that this bout of ours would have ended so easily non. I intend to spend as much time with you as possible so that we may get to know each other tres bien." He made it sound as though this arena match up they were having was akin to a date with his tone of voice. Over the fourth dimension, it would seem the gods were intent on stretching out this bout as long as there was an empress and a doofus going at it on some other plane of of time. The bartender would then crick his back as if a testament to how out of practice he was but again making it appear as if he wasn't taking the bout seriously. Which in truth as far as he believed neither of them were.
((Essentially what he's been using to swap his gloves figured I'd put it in here)) Handīman {Handyman} - Coup de main{Helping Hand} > Fleur Bleue {Blue Blossom} - No Act • These gloves have a connection with [Coup de main] this ability simply allows Trefles to switch between his three sets of gloves on the fly consuming no activation to do so but a flat [10] chakra.
•Aseru [ To Fade ] {-1 Kawarimi} Rank: D :: Complex [Defensive] Description: The user will bring a smoke pellet and throws it on the ground beneath them. As the smokescreen rises, they will perform a hand sign, sending a quick surge of chakra throughout their body. In almost an instant, the user will escape any dangerous situation. This technique is akin to the substitution technique.
[Fleur Bleue] - Kafun no kisetsu {Pollen Season} - Ability • These gloves produce pellets and smoke bombs to fulfill the requirements for [Juurai Toorima], though they are made of chakra and are fragrant like flowers. The smoke that Fleur bleue creates isn't normal smoke, it's incredibly dense and can only be blown away by Wind techniques of either a technique higher than the [Juurai Toorima] technique it was used in conjunction with or the rank of which the typical bomb was made with. Sheer force of impacts that cause wind to bend won't even phase it because of its chakra composition existing almost as though it were an illusion.
Handīman {Handyman} - Fleur Bleue {Blue Blossom} > Coup de main{Helping Hand} - No Act • These gloves have a connection with [Coup de main] this ability simply allows Trefles to switch between his three sets of gloves on the fly consuming no activation to do so but a flat [10] chakra.
[Coup de maine] - Two In the Bush [Unsealed Kurai gazo] - [1 Act] •Each glove is treated as an A-rank scroll independently of one another. Sealing objects inside requires an appropriate amount of chakra for the sealing, unsealing requires only that the glove the item is contained in has its finger snapped or palm wide open front-facing. This method is how Trèfles manages to dispatch his known robots as each one is given a seal connection to Coup de main. It is also the flavor method of how he's able to collect a majority of his resources. In a more combative sense it allows for quick-changing of weapons within the glove on the fly.
[Kurai gazo] - Au revoir Adieu {Goodbye, Farewell} [ 1Offensive] Rank - {Everything within 200ft- Dome of the Arena Traps the Excess Wind} • Disperses Buff/Healing Oriented-Ninjutsu of its rank or lower with a fierce gust of chakra over a wide area of 10 meters long and wide per rank. This has no real physical implications damaging wise but its ability to remove chakra armors and deny the beneficial effects of healing make brutally fierce in its own way. Wounds that were only just recently healed within two posts will re-open and re-appear. New armors and healing cannot be done until [1] post later.
