XXXXX[The winds were turbulent in the mountains as Liam worked his way up the sheer rock face. If it weren't for the anti-magic field surrounding the location, he would have just teleported himself to the peak. But, this job needed done, the target needed neutralized. And it needed done quickly.

All Liam had were his climbing gear, and his rifle. It was charged with enough eternano to obliterate whomever it struck. Luckily, while he couldn't use magic, anything he brought in with him still worked. He'd have all of 10 seconds to locate his target and fire.

As the winds blew, getting any headway was harder than anticipated. Every grasp upwards had to be calculated. Every push up had to be between the torrents. Liam couldn't afford a mistake. Luckily, his body had been at this far longer than he could remember. The muscle memory couldn't be forgotten. It knew how to climb a rock face.

As Liam reached within 10 feet of the peak, the winds died down immediately. It seemed there was a safe area. It also begged the question if magic could be used. A spiral appearing on Liam's ear confirmed the fact that he could indeed use it. He knew, however, as soon as he broke the peak, a proximity alarm would be sounded. He had to be quick. Charging his legs with his Spiral Force, he leaped upward past the boundary, the alarm sounding immediately. Those on the peak looked around to see, but none were aware of what were above them.

Liam took aim as he neared the height of his jump, and got his target in his sights. One deep breath in, he held his breath, and squeezed the trigger. The recoil was immense, spinning Liam around. Upon returning in a 360, Liam confirmed his kill, using his Spiral Aura to enhance his sight enough to see. The world's foremost smuggler ringleader was now dead, and before Liam could be struck out of the sky, he made a Spiral Shift under himself to appear at the base of the mountain. As soon as he was through, it closed. He had to make a short trek back through the forest before he could truly escape, as the mages up above would be able to track his magic signature if he teleported here. For all intents and purposes, Liam was in the clear.]
