The small puff tailmouth growled as the foal looked around where they were. This was far from the playground in the nursery. Though, they still are within the Dark Grove....they weren't anywhere near the usual safe spot. Arch hummed as he looked around. Another growl. "Oh hush...we're still safe. Uncle Nox usually isn't too far away."
He took a few more steps before his small hoof splashed muddy water. "Ewwww."

Radiant peeked his head from around the nearest tree as Arch spoke, curious he maneuvered out from behind the tree looking around carefully. "Is he really that good." the aquatic foal murmured as he heard the mud squish and slop about beneath Arch's hooves, his noses crinkled a bit, as he went over nudging him from behind to make sure he wasn't stuck " come on if you don't move he will definitely find us " radiant pushed and wiggled his little tail, getting muddy in the processes, he ended up pushing Arch out of the mud but fell face first in to the mud himself. it was less sticky than he hand anticipated. his head raised from the mud beneath him as he whimpered, he wasn't a big fan of being muddy either. he quickly got up and began to rub up against the nearest tree in attempt to remove the mud from his fur "yucky" he whined as he rubbed off as much dirt as he could before checking on arch" a..are you OK? I'm sorry". he lowered his head in shame as he carefully his hoof on the much dryer dirt his body still spattered with mud.

Arch giggled as the other foal came outta nowhere. "Yeah, Uncle Nox is super keen on keeping tabs on me. I'm the only foal back home." the small foal let out a squeak as he fell over. Once he popped back up he was quick to help the other foal out. "Hi there! I'm Archanne Web! You can call me Arch."
He nuzzled the muck off the other foal as he hummed softly. "Don't be sorry. I'm fine. I apericate the concern."

His tail began to wag as he listened to arch, " h..hi im Radiant Dreamer! I started going to your uncles daycare recently. but I seem to have gotten a bit loss in the processes, everyone ran off I tried to follow you all... when I realized we where playing a game and then Isaw you." he said as he felt the foal nuzzle in to him to remove the mud, now they where both dirty, radiant giggled at the sight and softly trotted around the hybrid groulie "lets hide together. maybe if we find a good spot it will make it harder for him to find us?" he suggested as he slid to a stop tripping over his own foot-lock "or.. maybe not" he chuckled nervously. "I'm a bit clumsy today". he said as he got up and continued to wag his tail none the less

Arch chuckled. "Maybe. Uncle is pretty sharp at searching for us. His tails memorize our scents so they can pick us up if we wander off." As the tiny foal spoke he was making sure to walk through bushes. Hoping the leafs would get the dirt off. "We should find a creek or something."
He looked back to Radiant. "Usually I don't get to play with the other foals. Poof isn't too fond of new ponies." as if to prove the foals words. His tail poof growled. "Oh hush." Arch pouted back to the tail.

she tilted his head as he watched arch and fallowed his lead " b.. but wouldn't that be dangerous?" he asked he began to shake his body to shake off more dirt and fallowed behind him but as he began to mention how his tail was around others his noses crinkled worried about the recoil of his tails actions "Eeep!" he let out a shrill squeak as the tail growled at him, " sorry poof, I'm not trying to anger you" he said softly and then moved up a few inches beside arch being careful of his tail " i know someone with a tail too they visit my momma often and always bring us yummy tea, his tail is a bit grumpy but it loves to cuddle with me" he said as he looked a bit happy within his thoughts " goulies an always have the best fluffiest tails" he said as he looked back at poof cautiously though he admired it.

Arch looked back to Radiant with a warm smile. Flicking his mane back over his shoulder the foal nodded. "It wouldn't be dangerous if we found a shallow creek." As the other foal apologized, Poof made a confused sound. Arch's laughter followed quickly behind. "Oh, he wasn't expecting that! Most don't apologize to him. They just think he's being..." Arch racked his brain for the word. "..Immature..."
The small foal smiled at his new friend. "So, Radiant. What else do you like to do?" he asked the other.

he smiled a bit as poof did so and looked to arch "w.well OK.a shallow creek doses sound much safer, lets go then!" he said enthusiastically as he trotted up again looking much more energetic than before, but slowed his pace as arch asked him a question " well. i like flowers and nature, I'm not a fan of getting dirty though.--" he said looking down at his clotted chest fur. " But its not all bad when i can clean up after." he galloped and looked around being careful not to trip in to more unfortunately placed mud holes and began to look for the creek "what about you what do you like?" he said with a smile ear to ear and a pep in his step.

Arch sniffed the air for the smell of the crispness of water. He then glanced to Radiant. "Hm, Me? Well, I like helping my Dad Weave new blankets and things. I really enjoy playing games." he let out a small cry of victory as he spotted a shallow creek...complete with a small shore. "Hey look!!! Its a tiny beach!!!"
Arch giggled as he dashed ahead to splash around.

radiant gleefully smiled and listened to arch his little tail wagging as they walked together" oh i love a good soft blanket, and games are fun to! i like to play with my siblings but they haven't been getting along lately" he said with a slight frown but soon his head perked up and fins twitched as arch squealed . he dashed towards the beach with haste " Beach!!! " he exclaimed and leapt and bound across the path way on to the beach, as soon as he hit the sound however BONK he face planted right in to the sand " I'm OK!" he called out as he pushed himself up and ran in to the water burring himself in to the cool refreshing water "Ah! so refreshing" he said as he enjoyed the water he dove under the water in the shallow end and back up near the bank of the beach " come on in the water feels so good! its really salty though" he said spiting out a bit of water
