So far I haven't been watching too many movies this month.
But these are the ones I have fully or partially watched.

1) Ready Player One - Managed 28 minutes before I left it in the ditch. YIKES!
2) Moon over Miami - Charming old B/W Hollywood movie! I have a love for old movies heart
3) The Sound of Music - A classic!

Ready Player One ... Verner and I and our 3 sons watched it as a family and we enjoyed it because our sons liked the movie. So it was a good movie for us. smile

Sadly, for me, it was horrible, I have read the book so I was sceptical when I heard they were going to make it into a movie. I personally find that book to movie adaptations are seldom good.
But I have heard, from people who haven't read the book, that the movie is good as a standalone smile

The second one is just as good as the first. Hard to say if its better, but definitely just as good.

Try watching The Conjuring 2 - Horror on Netflix it’s a lot scarier than the first. I’d suggest watching this on Halloween hours. It gave me nightmares twice. (T^T)

Agreed, Darkness and Wings - no horror for me!

I enjoy old classics like Wizard of Oz and Beauty and the Beast.
Finding Nemo was gorgeous, and so was Avatar (the one with blue aliens).
Enchanted was delightful!

Lilo & Stitch - animated, comedy, drama?

My favorite Disney movie. Highly recommend to everyone. If you haven't seen it, I won't spoil it, but it's probably the most accurate depiction of a child's personality I've ever seen in a film. A lot of films either make kids overly cutesy or awful. Lilo is a "difficult" kid who witnessed a lot of trauma in her life. She makes bad decisions, but you can really empathize with her on why she makes the choices she does. Also Stitch is cute.

Princess & the Frog - animated, romance

Another Disney movie I like, haha. This is one of the few films where aside from the main villain, everyone is likable. The prince has a real personality and experiences character development which is rare in a Disney princess film. Tiana is actually a flawed person who also undergoes character development. Even Tiana's foil, her best friend, is incredibly likable and loyal. Usually "the other woman" is portrayed as evil, but she's just truly a good person who wants to be with the prince. You can really understand why Tiana was friends with this girl.

It's also the last film Disney did in 2D, and they really went all out. The animation is gorgeous. I am a sucker for hand drawn animation.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse - animated, action

Probably the best animated film I've seen in recent years. If you tend to think animation is boring, watch this film. It really re-ignited my love for the animated genre. Miles Morales is incredibly relatable (minus the spider part). Also, John Mulaney is in it, and I'll give anything he's in a watch. This is digitally animated, but they really took inspiration from the comic book aesthetic.

Dragonball evolution - science fiction/animated/romance

This is the live version of Dragon ball, where granted, it depicts a poor adaptation to the show, but what it does show is what Dragon Ball would be like if it were real on some level. They tried to pick the classic fight between Piccolo and Goku and put a bit of a fan fiction spin on it. I would say they did a good job at making it an alternate look into the classic story while at the same time putting some reality into dragon ball.

The Black Knight - fantasy comedy

Imagine what would happen if someone of color went back in time to when Kings and Queens actually ruled and it was a totally white crowd. This movie does seem racial at a glance, but the humor put into it and the message of what courage truly is really makes this movie a good one.
