Beach Party!

Realizing he'd be going on a journey, Marmalade trotted back to his stall and began packing everything up. He could probably leave most of his stuff here while he went searching. After all, ponies' lives were kind of more important than just a bunch of jams. Jar by jar, his jams were placed back into the cooler.

When everything was done, Marmalade left everything underneath an umbrella by the side of the beach and made his way back to the gathered group with a small bag of necessities. "We should split into smaller groups so we can cover more ground. Besides those staying here, of course. Would anyone like to join me in searching the forest?" He spoke to the group as a whole.

He had promised Starry he'd come to the beach party, and he kept his promise. Despite... the fact he was a winter pony and clearly uncomfortable. He stood off to the side, face dead as he fought against the heat. Was this what dying was like?

And then a strange pony came running into the party before he could find Starry. There were so many ponies... where was she? He swore he texted her. While everyone was fretting over the new pony (and frankly, why wasn't he?!), he was looking for her. Then, he heard it -- the ponies request. Guilt tugged at his heart. He'd help search. It only seemed right.

He could meet up with Starry after.

He was relieved when he was ordered to go to the forest. Somewhere cooler, thank the stars! He opened his phone, sending a quick text;

'Hey. Heading to forest to help search parties. Meet you after?'

Then, he heard a bat call out if anyone would join them. Dipper trotted up, awkwardly waving. "I'm, uh... going to the forest, too."

Cupid glanced up just as an umbrella opened over their heads. “Oh good! That should help take the direct sun rays off this poor pony! Thank you,” she said to Havoc. She wasn’t sure who the Pit Vipers were, but if they would help, she would gladly accept.

“Sure, I’d be happy to help watch over them,” Cupid replied to Leo with a soft reassuring smile.

She looked back to Paintwater who was dipping the towel in the cool water. “I can assist with changing out the towels if you’d like.”

When Paintwater mentioned moving closer to the water and ice maker, Cupid wondered if this was a good idea. Was it really okay to move the passed out pony? It would be good to be near the fresh ice and water though. But it might take several others to be able to gently carry this stranger over to the stand.

“Hmm I wonder…..well what do you all think? Should we move them? I guess if we want to, we could all take an edge of the beach towel and use it like a hammock to move them closer to your water and ice source.”

Cupid wanted everyone’s opinion though. She glanced back to Leo, and Havoc as well, and anyone else who was standing nearby

Bleak noticed a group gathering on a section of the beach discussing heading to the forest. Some shade seemed like an excellent idea right now so he went right up to them. “I’ll head to the forest to help search too!” Bleak licked his own cheek to get any leftover water droplets, he was already parched just moving from the water to the beach and over to the group.

Nox sat there, his wings folded around his body as the three tails wavered around him. He tilted his head toward's one that seemed to always have a snarl. "Now...we've watched this whole time Aries. We need to step in." he whispered to it. As another that seemed to smirk quivered on his right. "Yes, Narssi we should help." a third tail mouth seemed to be sleeping. The bulk of its head under his front paws. "Hypnos. I do hope you raise your voice today." he spoke softly to it. Then the male started to move. Letting the sleeping head drag on the ground as the two others wavered around him. As he came to a stop the male inclined his head. "I'll assist in the search...four heads are better than one."

Babble had grinned the unicorn's appreciation of her popping remarks, but she became distracted, chattering to Ripple about her decision. She took a step away as others came up and when she was finally looking back with a decision of what to get, something quite unusual occurred. A pony, the like's of which Babble had never come across before even in all her travels, came in and fainted dead away.

With a look to Ripple and a nod, she hurried over.
"I'll help search!" She announced to the concerned parties. She glanced at the others, debating on where she might be able to help the most. It seemed like quite a few ponies would be going towards the forest or the mountains. She hadn't seen where the stranger may have come from and she couldn't go investigate the ocean without a boat or swimming, so... "Would any pony go with me to look in the mountains?" She asked the others, though determined that even if no one stepped up, she would still go searching around on her own.

Starry was extremely late. She had never been to the summer territory and wanted to be prepared. Her usually satchel was now filled with water and sunscreen. As well as an additional charm for Dipper to help him keep cool. She heard a specific sound trill in her bag which only ment a text from Dipper. She gave it a quick glance. A search party??? Whats going on?

Before she could send out a text she was on the beach. On odd looking filly looked shaken up and it seemed other search parties were being formed. "...Whats going on?" She approched the group near the filly.

Wolf had made the mistake of mixing up the dates for the beach party. Luckily he realized the mistake before it was to late. He hurried onto the beach only to find a lot of ponies already here and doing things. He looked around briefly trying to see if he recognized anyone.

Mango Lemonade had been at the beach for a little while now. Makeshift fruit stand and all. She was enjoying selling her fresh and slightly chilled fruits to ponies, until something strange happened. A pony appeared, fretting about some friends they had lost, before passing out.

Mango had slowly made her way towards the gathering group of ponies. Some pony was organizing things and trying to figure out who would stay with the pony to take care of them, and any others who showed up, while others would split into teams.

Watching from the back, slowly she moved towards whoever was taking tally, her cart left at the end of the crowd for ease of movement.

"I want to help search," she said rather boldly. This new pony looked different than others, and she was reminded of a festival not too long ago where she came across another breed of pony. One of which was her brother. At the time it was shocking, and she had been glad they were accepted, but she needed time to herself to reflect on Cherry specifically.

This time, however, she did not intend to sit around and let poor ponies be belittled or forgotten about. This time, she'd help from the beginning.

Starry saw a familiar face. "Wolf!" She reared and waved a hoof to get his attention. She then trotted up next to him. "Looks like this pony is missing their friends. So search parties are being sent out." She frowned as she hasnt seen Dipper yet too.

Wolf was delighted to see a familiar face and was excited about the potential to have fun on the beach with them. This lasted for only a few seconds until he heard that there were ponies missing. "It seems the party has yet to start then..."He pondered aloud and looked around at the various faces. "Seems as if the heat is getting to some of them as well.." He turned his attention back to starry with a gentle smile. "Are you going to search for the missing ponies or help the heat exhausted ponies?" He asked in curiosity as he considered what his next move is going to be for himself. Should he stay and bring cool drinks to those that have collapsed on the sand or search for mysterious ponies that are missing.

When Mewori was given direction to help search the ocean she couldn't help a small cringe. It wasn't that she wasn't willing, but water was not her favorite thing to venture out into very far. She wasn't the best of swimmers. BUT! that wasn't going to stop her from being of use to the rescue cause, so off she went across the hot sands to the water front. It was definitely a relief when she reached the wet sand, her paw pads getting a reprieve from the heat. Deciding that she would trek the line along the ocean water to start, the cat pranced herself along it, calling out to any lost pony who might be in distress. "Hello?! Anyone out that that is lost? I'm here to help if you need it!"

Wolf looked around while waiting for response from his friend but noticed a change in how many ponies were around. They seemed to be teaming up to go on a search party. "I'm going to join a team." He informed her before running off to a group of ponies.
