Ajicka deadpanned and stared long and hard at Skia. She didn't even bother voicing her opinion on the girls idea of what the true treasure was, because she didn't want to hurt her feelings. Her expression sort of gave it away, but.... still. She at least did Skia the service of keeping her mouth shut and not being rude.
Flinching back slightly, Ajicka actually flushed a little pink when Skia started gushing over her victory. She blinked a few times, looking at the girl, and immediately felt awkward at the request. Oh god, a photo? Why. She was just... I mean it was just one region. It wasn't a big deal. Or, well, yeah, it was, which was why she was proud of it, but she hadn't expected fangirl levels of reactivity out of other people. "Um.... You can take a picture with my Charizard, if you want? He was my starter and kinda... swept a couple of Red's pokemon, if that would help," she replied uncertainly. She couldn't remember the last time she got a picture taken that wasn't for some official, league-related ID or something. Jas would probably appreciate the attention and affection more, anyway. Shaking her head, she waved a hand up in front of Skia's face to cut her off. "I don't need a side kick. I have my pokemon for that sort of thing. What I need, if anything, is a rival, so just..." she eyed the girl over, before shrugging, "Get strong. And then come and challenge me someday." She smirked, both at the challenge, and the idea of actually having someone to look forward to battling, for real, for a title.
Of course, that was in the future. For now, they could at least do a little skirmish once they got outside of the cave. And given what Skia said, it would probably be best to start with one of her own less trained pokemon. Maybe pancham? The pokemon was rearing for a battle and all.
Unaware of poor Skia's terribly mislead impressions of her, Ajicka furrowed her brow as the girl seemed to boost herself up in preparation for some sort of.... catch phrase? She blinked a few times when she heard it, clearly looking a little skeptical. "Right..." She wasn't really sure what else to say, but a smirk crossed her lips, "Well, good. We--" She cut herself off as the whole world seemed to rumble, and shuddered under foot. She looked around, frowning and grabbing a pokeball at her waist, standing at the ready. Then, something occurred to her, and she looked over at Skia. "Hey, where are you located? Like where will you be when we wake up? I'm in Alola, but if you tell me where you are, I can come find you after I wake up and figure stuff out, in case either of us wakes up before we finish our battle," she suggested. She wasn't sure how long this dream world was gonna stay up, now that she thought about, and as the world started to rumble, and shake again, she started feeling a little light headed, like she was being lifted up, weightless.
Pancham only managed to give Tippy Toes a questioning look, before the earth started to quake. She gasped out in surprise, and held her hands out to either side, but soon, it was doing it again. She heard her trainer curse, and looked up to see Ajicka pointing at the other girl. "Hey, look, we'll meet up in the real world, alright? Then we can have a proper battle," she suggested, as everything rattled around them once more, and just like that.... everything went dark.
