These deep waters are full of aquatic life who make their home in both fresh and saltwater alike. Here in the Dream World, they can coexist under one body of water.

Pokemon Appearances:
5 rp posts are required, then generate a number between 1 and 30. This will determine the Pokemon that appears. All encountered pokemon will match the average level of your active party.
EXP is quantified by the number of words in your post. For every 100 words you write, each active party pokemon gets 1 EXP, so at 200 words, each active party member gets 2 EXP, at 300 words, 3 EXP, and so on. This stops after 1000 words, i.e. the max EXP you can get per pokemon per post is 10 without any exp bonuses. Posts can have more than 1000 words in them, however the word limit for bonus EXP is 1000. The word count doesn't round up, so if you have 199 words, it's still only 1 exp per pokemon, not 2. Please note how many words are in your post somewhere in your post. The word count does not include coding and layout, only the words in your RP posts.
Pokemon, NPCs, and Items:
All wild pokemon are encountered in the Dream World by spending Pokemon Encounter Post Points, and they will match the average level of your active party. You ARE allowed to capture pokemon in the Dream World. Any pokemon caught in the Dream World can stay with your trainer while they travel around the Dream World, but will be mysteriously transported to your trainer's PC when they wake up. The pokemon encountered in the Dream World are usually only available in select areas of the guild, so use this as an opportunity to catch your favorite pokemon or fill up your pokedex!
You may also battle NPCs in the Dream World, as other trainers will be getting thrown into the realm as well. Their maximum combined team level will be equal to 4 times your active party's average level.
Battle Changes:
-All Battles will be Inverse Battles -Obedience Rules do not apply -Lower level pokemon will move first -Status altering moves will work in reverse, as if the pokemon using it has the ability Contrary. For pokemon who actually have the ability Contrary, status altering moves work normally.

When Evan finally reached the end of the path, he quickly found there was no beach at all. No, the path lead directly into the water! "Woah..." He mouthed holding a hand up over his eyes. "It doesn't end does it?" Just like the oceans back home, they seemed to go on forever. 'It would seem that way, Evan.' Saga spoke up, as she reached the water herself. Stepping into it until she was ankle deep, the grass dragon let out a sigh. 'Oh this water is so pure.' She smiled. Going in further she stopped when the water was just about covering the orange and yellow seeds on her back. Evan watched as the grass dragon sat down, her head just above the water. After a moment Saga dipped her head down, open to raise it up again with a wide-eyed expression. 'Interesting...' She mused, going back down once again.
Pulling off his boots and socks, the male rolled up his pant legs and started out into the water a bit himself. It's times like this he wished he had a swimming suit... it only dawned on him a moment later when he looked down to see he was now in nothing but swimming trunks. He had only meant to look down to see the small corals that were growing on the path. "What the!?" He exclaimed, hands instinctively going up to cover his chest. He felt silly immediately afterward. After all, he wasn't a girl anymore. 'Evan need I remind you this is a dream.' Louhi called from the shore. Evan looked back with a dumb grin on his face. "Riiiight... I guess I dreamed myself into swimming attire." He chuckled. "Say Louhi, why don't you join us?" Evan asked. Louhi looked away, looking rather upset. 'I don't like my fur getting wet.' He replied. Evan arched a brow. Who needed to be reminded this was a dream again? Well, the psychic had said he'd never had a dream like this before didn't he? Whatever, more ocean for him! Running out towards Saga, the male arrived just as the grass dragon lifted her head out of the water once more. She turned to smile towards Evan. 'You must see this!' Saga exclaimed, motioning towards the water around her. Curiosity perked, Evan moved over to his starter's side and dipped his head under the water along with her. What they saw was a drop-off point. The water grew exceptionally deeper from there, as if they were standing beside a trench. A whole community of Pokemon swam about, even fossil Pokemon! This was a dream come true indeed! Ancient Pokemon like Relicanth is such huge schools was so cool to see. Eventually though Evan went to raise his head and take a breath.
Upon bringing his head back over water he spotted in the distance, quickly approaching Water-type Pokemon know as Lapras. "Hey Saga, look at that!" Evan motioned, tapping the grass dragon's shoulder a few times. Saga rose her head, spotting the Lapras steadily approaching. Though before long the Lapras suddenly attacked! A large shard of ice appeared before the Lapras and quickly launched itself towards Saga and Evan. There was no time to think of someone else to send out, before Saga stood up and took the hit. 'Oh?' The mega Sceptile looked down at herself. 'I barely felt that.' She stated. Lowering her head into the water once more, Saga quickly brought her head back up and initiated the attack Water Spout upon the ferry Pokemon, oddly enough knocking it out in an instant. How odd. Both Evan and Saga looked at one another in confusion. Saga should of totally been hurt real back by that Ice Shard. Even a weak ice-type attack like that? "Well, this is a dream right? Of course you'd be super strong!" Evan laughed.
Before more thought could be put on the Lapras and how normal battles worked, something caught Evan's attention. Turning 9o degrees the male caught sight of Fylgia riding on Undine's back as the fossil Pokemon flew through the water. "Woah! Surfs up!" Evan called... perhaps a little to excitedly. Undine took a turn, heading straight for Evan. At the last moment Fylgia leaped off the water-type's back and into Evan's arms, snickering as she landed in his arms. "Nice jump, Fylgia." Evan grinned. Undine dove down into the water only for a moment later to launch herself into the sky to be quickly caught by Aska. After a moment the flying rock along with Undine came back down to the water. Dropping Undine in, the bird then landed peacefully on the water fossil's back. "This place has certainly brought out the playfulness of my team." Evan chuckled. "Even myself." Yea, dreams were nice. You could do anything your heart desired. The outside world- the real world wasn't there to ruin it unless you woke up. You could eat all you wanted, laze the day away on the beach, fly... yea.. even breath underwater right?
This was a theory he just had to test out. Sitting back, the male began to float on the water's surface for a bit before flipping himself over to have his back to the sky. Undine swam down to join him, forcing Aska to fly over to Saga and land on the grass-dragon's back as she too brought her head back down under the water. It was a huge leap of faith, purposely breathing in water. Evan half expected to come back up coughing his lungs out... or get CPR from one of his Pokemon but no... like a whale or something the male breathed in... finding... nothing wrong. "I knew it!" He spoke. Even his speech was as clear as it would of been above water. "Let's go explore deeper down!" Evan exclaimed. Saga widened her gaze, then turned her head to look back towards the shore. "Right. After we tell Louhi where we're going." Couldn't have that old man worrying over them could they?

Springing out of the water, the male tread softly before finally swimming over to the shallow end, beckoning Louhi over. 'Are you finished?' Louhi inquired, though the psychic already knew the answer. "Nah, we've just begun!" Evan announced. "Actually, Saga and some of the gang are going to explore the deep end. Don't worry we can breath underwater but we won't be to long." Evan held up a peace sign before he went to dive back down into the water. 'Hold it!' Louhi called. Evan stopped,and looked back to Louhi. The psychic did something strange then... he stepped forward entering the water. "Woah, hold up. I thought you didn't like getting your fur wet?" Evan sneered. 'I don't. But... Well, this is a dream, I shouldn't be worried about wet fur.' The psychic replied. "Oh yea? Glad to have you join us then." Rushing back out of the water, Evan grabbed his bag, releasing the rest of his team. "Anyone else wanna come explore the deep waters with us?" He asked. Stain shook his head, pulling up his pants. Yea, water would make it hard to travel with all that loose skin. Thankfully, Yakule and Gnome, Halvard and Sylph decided to stay behind as well. Wouldn't be fair to leave poor Stian here by his lonesome. "Great. You guys stay out of trouble okay?" Evan motioned. "If you like, why don't you find someplace else in this dream to have some fun?" Evan inquired. "This is a dream after all, once we wake up we'll all be together again, won't we?" That question was directed towards Louhi. 'Seems logical enough. Just stick together.' Louhi replied. He really wasn't the best to be asking these things.. considering he'd never dreamed like this before.
Whatever the case, Stian and his gang decided to hang around the shores of the sea for a bit longer, least until Evan had dove under the water once more. Their trainer in question returned with Hronn, Louhi and even Aki. Normally water would be a fire-types worse enemy, but it seemed Aki wasn't at all bothered by the water, in fact he seemed more in love with splashing around in it than Hronn did. Which was certainly saying something. Diving into the water, Evan did a quick head count, seeing everyone together he motioned towards the deeper parts of the sea and quickly took the lead.
Swimming deep into the waters, Evan and his crew found themselves in what could only be called an underwater city. Complete with various currents that seemed to make up makeshift traffic laws and the coral houses that lined the expanse of the water city. "It's been forever since I've gone diving like this." Evan explained. "Look at all the ancient Pokemon!" He exclaimed as a rather large Relicanth floated by, a trail of smaller fish following after it... where those Remoraid? They looked odd though. Sadly Evan's attention was quickly taken away when he spotted in the distance a large Lileep swaying in the mismatched currents. "Astonishing!" he proclaimed, fighting every urge in his being from touching the very much alive fossil. Reading about ancient Pokemon was one thing, but to actually see one in the rocky flesh... it was breathtaking. Good thing he could breath underwater. Not far away from the Lileep a school of Binacle were busy arguing with a group of Kabuto.
Undine was intrigued seeing the Kabuto like herself. Swimming over, the argument between the Binacle and Kabuto seemed to stop, thanks to Undine drawing the Kabuto's attention away. She eagerly got into a conversation her fellow Isopods. Evan gave a chuckle, but quickly brought his attention to a group of Omanyte huddled together. Though before he could properly approach the group, a spider-like creature popped out of a hole in the coral. It seemed upset with Evan for whatever reason.. likely because of all the noise he was making. Aki, Fylgia and Louhi approached ready to defend Evan if need be. "Wha, hold up. Sorry if I'm being a bit noisy, no need to get so angry." Evan tried to plead, but the water bug seemed adamant on pushing Evan away. When the Omanyte themselves moved, trying to push the Dewpider away, the spider turned and chipped one of it's legs against the opening where the Omanyte brought out their bodies. "Hey, cool it!" Evan argued. "Fine if you won't listen to reason, we'll have to calm you down another way." Looking back to his team, he motioned to Aki. The chicken narrowed his gaze, and leaped forward, quickly using a kicking attack that seemed to work. But then the spider returned with a stream of bubbles that seemed to pass through the water like they were on the surface. Each bubble struck Aki, but as odd as it was... Aki didn't seem at all bothered. Was this because it was a dream? Was it the same as when an Ice-type attack had been used on Saga? "Double Kick it again!" Evan called out. No time to think on that. A couple more kicks was all that was needed to finally settle the aquatic arachnid back into it's hole. "Man, what is with the Pokemon of this dream?" One thing was for sure, dreams were unpredictable. The strangest things could happen in a dream, and often more than not the owner of the dream woke with no recollection of the amazing adventure they'd had.
It made Evan fear something new. What if he forgot everything about this dream? What if he woke again on the train to Johto and all the memories he'd gathered from this experience were gone? Like Saga's voice? Or all the sweet looking Pokemon he'd come across? Hopefully this wasn't the case and he'd be able to regale this tale over and over in his head when they woke up. For now, the male looked down to find the Omanyte out of their shells and eagerly calling to Evan. Did they have something for him? Lowering himself down by grabbing onto a piece of rock, One Omanyte held up some shades..."Sun glasses?" He inquired, holding the frames up close. They looked pretty neat. Fylgia, out of nowhere leaped off Evan's shoulder and snatched the glasses in her maw. After a little flip she floated into a current with the sun glasses on her face. "F-fyl!" Evan called, suddenly kicking his feet to get a jump start at meeting the same current, following after Fylgia. What had gotten into that little fox?

Following after Fylgia, the entire team found themselves whisked into a current that seemed to be endless, twisting this way and that. Not long after entering the current did a whole network of currents appear before them. Like a fast moving highway, many Pokemon used these currents seemingly at their leisure to get from one place to the next. Evan fixed his gaze on Fyl, who was speeding into oncoming traffic. popping out of one current into an intersection, a large Kabuto knocked into her, sending her flying from the current. "Fyl!" Evan called. 'I will assist her!' Louhi announced. Before Evan could say much of anything Louhi had already pushed himself out of the current. Being psychic made it easier, so by the time Evan broke from the current and managed to join with Louhi and Fly, the larger fox had Fyl snug in his arms. "Don't do that Fyl. What got into you?" The fox seemed to struggle to break free until she heard Evan's voice and her whole head seemed to recoil, knocking her glasses off. The fox made an adorable cry as she tried to snatch the glasses up once more, only for them to be moved away by Louhi's psychic powers. "You want these that badly, Fyl? You could just ask." Evan scolded the fox. placing them down on her head, he gave a smile as the black glass covered fyl's eyes. "They look kinda neat on you actually." Evan observed. Small round circles with a bridge that seemed to fit perfectly on Fyl's nose. The sides of the glasses were just tight enough that they sat snug on either side of her head, but just in case they'd need to find something to tie them on firmly to Fyl's head.
After awhile, the gang had reunited, and were now looking out at the large network of currents that ran everywhere they could see. "Man, it's like a maze." Evan observed. There was no way they'd manage to get through this that easily. Mulling over this conundrum for a moment, it was up to Louhi to sense something in the water. The psychic's eyes darted side to side before he began to swivel his head. Saga caught on to this act, gazing down at the Kadabra with a curious gaze. 'Can you sense it, Saga?' Louhi inquired. 'We are being watched. By what or whom I do not know.' The psychic floated a bit backward, finding a rock face behind them, within the rock base a catacomb of tunnels revealed itself. From one tunnel in particular a Kabuto popped out, seemingly angry about Louhi encroaching on it's territory. Aki was quick to defend the Kadabra, but after being squirted with a strong jet of water Aki grew angry and initiated his attack, overheat.... which well, certainly took care of the Kabuto. 'My thanks, Aki.' The fox turned his head sharply. That feeling... nay, they were still being watched. Floating over to Evan, Louhi rested down by the young males side. 'Evan, I mean not to alarm you, but I feel as though someone is observing us quite closely.' The psychic fox warned, gazing side to side. "What like the dream police?" Evan chuckled, though he stopped short once his gaze met Louhi's. "Sorry. I mean, there seems to be a lack of humans in this dream, so we might really be the talk of the town." The male continued. 'Perhaps, but this is an odd feeling. Whomever is watching us is doing so in such a way that is making me uneasy.' Louhi replied.
Evan folded his arms, trying to think upon this. Evan wasn't about to simply push Louhi's feelings aside. The psychic-type was and old man compared to anyone and wisdom came with age. Though how were they to deal with someone simply watching them? "I guess..., I don't know... keep a... feeling out? Whomever they are they aren't bothering us right now, so why worry?" Evan mused. That sounded like he was pushing louhi's feelings aside, but it was the only logical thing Evan could think of, other than looking for the spy. Louhi had to sigh, lowering his head. 'I suppose you're right. I will try to figure out where they are, for now we can return to our fun.' It was obviously hard for Louhi to admit defeat. But then an idea struck Evan. "Why can't we do both actually?" The male mused, gazing around. "I mean, the ocean is free to swim around in, so we're bound to draw out the spy or make them run away." Louhi tilted his head.... a rather plausible plan. They would swim about the sea in search of the one so closely observing them, then confront them.

Walking Pokemon ⇨
At some point during their walk along the path, Sable had once again ended up taking Darren's arm, looping it with one arm while her other was crossed in front of her torso with the hand resting gently on her forearm. The teen wasn't so dizzy anymore, her embarrassing stumble having helped clear away most of the mental fogginess, but she wasn't exactly about to admit that at the moment. She had finally allowed herself to slow to a comfortable walking speed (which was actually quite slow at the moment), which she kept insisting to herself that it was just to give Jin a good opportunity to catch up. Still, even when the disguised zoroark returned, Aria lazily gliding above him, the group's speed remained at a slugma's pace. Which was... kind of nice, actually. A nice, peaceful walk along a path across a field, heading off to what looked like water in the distance. The teen allowed herself to relax a bit more than she normally would, just enjoying being able to cling to Darren a little without feeling worried that he might find it a bit much. True, she did feel guilty that she was essentially taking advantage of his kind nature for selfish reasons but... if he was really bothered by it, all he had to do was say something or just pull his arm away from hers. Besides, they were in a dream world, so she could always claim that she didn't remember that part when she woke up if Darren complained about it.
A hard thunk to the back of her head had the teen seeing stars and broke her out of her wishful thinking. "What's the big-" she had started to shout, having let go of Darren's arm and turned around. Mostly it was to see who the perpetrator was, but it was also so that she wasn't essentially shouting in Darren's ear. Before she could see who had hit her or even what she had been hit with, her body glowed with a bright white light that made it impossible for her to see anything else. Instinctively, the teen put up an arm to try and shield her eyes, but it did her no good. She thought she could hear shouting next to her, but at that point she was having a hard time focusing on much of anything around her. It felt like, at any moment, she could just break down into light and disappear, and if she didn't keep her mind on just staying here and solid she would be lost. And then, almost as soon as it happened, the sensation stopped and the blinding light suddenly broke away and disappeared. "T-the hell...?" The teen felt at least a couple of hands on her shoulders helping to steady her as she tried to blink away the spots in her vision. She thought she heard something drop to the ground, but at the moment Sable was still rather disoriented from whatever it was that just happened. But Darren and Jin would easily be able to see that the object that had hit Sable and fallen to the ground after failing to finish performing its function had been... a pokeball.
"I thought for sure that would work." A new voice could clearly be heard by the trio, even the dazed desert trainer. It didn't seem to be coming from any specific direction, but both Sable and Jin had a guess and looked up the path the way they came. To their mild surprise, standing some distance away was some sort of white ape which looked to be wearing a purple cloak of some sort. In one hand, it held a leaf fan with a tribal design, while in the other, it held a pokeball. Actually, now that the teen's vision was clearing a bit, she noticed that the strange ape creature had a lot of pokeballs with it, attached to a belt that the ape wore as a sort of sash or bandolier across its chest. "This girl has already been worn down by others. She should weak enough already." Now there was little doubt the telepathic lament had come from the strange ape pokemon as it threw the pokeball it had in hand at Sable.
This time, though, the ball broke apart while in flight, shattered by a burst of strange energy. Jin blinked once as the glow of his eyes died down, then stepped around his trainer to place himself between Sable and that... thing, putting a bit of distance between him and his trainer so that if he was attacked by something, he hopefully wouldn't be knocked into her. "Enough of that," the dark type growled as he glared at the white ape. The strange pokemon scoffed at the disguised zoroark, clearly not impressed. "Away with you, trickster," the psychic ape commanded and, with a wave of its fan, blew a blast of psychic energy at the dark type. To pretty much everyone's surprise, it actually damaged Jin. Not much, since the zoroark was fairly powerful by this point, but enough to shatter his illusion and knock him on his duff. It even managed to disorient the trickster fox, making it rather difficult for him to get back up. Honey flitted over to offer the zoroark one of her stingers to pull himself up with, but that ended up startling Jin and causing him to jolt to the side with a yelp, making things slightly work as now he had to get up off his back instead of just his bum.
Chuckling at the bit of mayhem he could cause with a weak psychic attack, the white ape turned his attention away from the two pokemon and back to the humans. "Now, if you are done playing around..." The psychic pokemon pulled one of the balls off the makeshift bandolier he wore and lobbed it in front of him. Unlike the last two it threw, though, this one popped open fairly soon and let out a pokemon. A rather familiar pokemon, at least to Darren and Jin. "Munna?" The pink and purple pokemon lifted its tiny trunk and looked at the group in front of it with curiosity. "If you refuse to submit to capture, I'll just have you weakened further." The ape smirked as the munna took what was probably supposed to be a battle stance. "Do not worry. We won't be too rough on you, girl."
Sable was still having a bit of trouble seeing what was going on after being mostly blinded, but she at least recognized when something was trying to threaten her. Almost immediately, she pulled one of the balls off her belt and tossed it in front of her to let out the pokemon inside. Out popped one of the eevees that had been put under her care in the aftermath of that whole Plasma incident. Not... what the teen had been expecting, but she would just have to make it work. "I'll show you rough..." Sable retorted as she took a step back. "Start off with covet, little guy," the teen commanded, making a mental note to ask Jin to see if the eevee had a name later. Like, when they were no longer at risk of some crazy pokemon that wanted to catch humans. The eevee yipped in response before bounding forward and 'playfully' bumping into the odd pink pokemon.
Although the hit was a hard one, it wasn't hard enough to actually knock out the munna. "Hmph. Put it under," the white ape instructed with a dismissive wave of its fan. The munna let out a little whimper before opening her little mouth wide and letting loose a long, loud yawn. The effect was almost immediate, with the eevee giving a lengthy, squeaky yawn in return. Even Sable wasn't immune to the contagious yawning, although the fact that it seemed she couldn't travel between two towns or cities without getting assaulted probably contributed to the tiredness the yawns capitalized on. But while most everyone was now letting out at least one yawn, Sable and her eevee were the only ones really feeling the move's actual effects. Sable not as much because she wasn't the move's actual target, but still enough that she was already feeling drowsy.
Aware that she needed to get this fight over with quick, Sable let out another command. "Once more, cove-eeeeeaaahhh~" In spite of the yawn cutting off her instructions, the eevee was more than aware what he needed to do before he passed out. After all, he only really knew one attacking move at the moment. Of couse, the eevee couldn't fight off the yawn's effects much longer, and when he collided with the munna this time neither pokemon got up. The pink and purple psychic pokemon was rendered unconscious by the normal type's attack, while the eevee was left dozing peacefully. The strange white ape grumbled as it recalled its cohort, clearly displeased by its fellow psychic's performance. Sable also recalled her eevee, but mostly because it would likely be far more of a hassle to wake the little guy up than it was to just switch to a different pokemon.

After dealing with the gulpin and seeing that in this strange dream world, Piper was having a more difficult time knocking out poison types, Darren made his way over to Dianna and knelt down next to her. "I feel like this is cheating a little bit, but... Here." He fed her a sweet heart, gave her a heart scale, and recaptured the eevee inside of a friend ball before releasing her once more. "Alright, one more thing." He handed her a rare candy, and watched as Dianna changed form before his eyes into a sylveon. "There. Piper, why don't you take a break for a bit. Since this dream world has some different rules about type matchups, Dianna will have to handle the poison types we've been encountering, okay?" He explained. Dianna looked over her new form and chirped with approval, nuzzling her cheek against Darren's knee. "That's a good girl~" Darren smiled affectionately, but the moment didn't last long as an aggressive movement in the tall grass towards them caught their attention.
Dianna was quick about turning around and attacking with a swift, though now that she was a sylveon, the once golden stars had a pinkish hue to them and instantly knocked out the seviper that had come towards them, fangs bared. Darren gave a sigh of relief. "Well then! That uh... That was even better than I'd hoped..." He smiled and gave Dianna a pat of appreciation. "You really saved my skin there." Dianna mewled happily, emitting something akin to a purr while Darren scanned and caught the knocked out seviper.
Seviper, the fang snake pokemon. Seviper is known for its angry disposition and generations-long feud with the pokemon Zangoose. It immobilizes its opponents by wrapping its body around them.
Good thing Dianna stopped it in time or that could have been nasty. As he put his pokedex away, Darren went wide eyed as Sable suddenly tripped and fell towards him. Naturally, he reflexively caught and steadied her. Sable was normally pretty klutzy but this seemed to be more than that. She'd looked quite focused on just walking normally as if it was taking all her concentration. Perhaps fighting that psychic had really effected her? She jerked away from him before she had fully recovered though, apologizing and stumbling dangerously again. Darren tried to catch her, but Jin managed to do so first, and so Darren settled for just being prepared to help assist her again just in case. "Are you.... Alright...?" This sure was a strange dream. Perhaps his subconscious mind was exaggerating Sable's limb flailing?
When Honey returned from dealing with a meditite who'd been a little too amused by the scene, she was practically tearing up as she explained to Jin what had happened. Darren sympathized with the poor beedrill. "It's okay Honey, you did just fine." He insisted encouragingly, carefully patting her head before turning his attention back to Sable. "Let's take this a little more slowly since it's all unfamiliar terrain. I don't want you to hurt yourself..." Darren suggested with a nervous smile and offering his arm to hold so that maybe she could help keep herself more stable. Much to his relief, she actually took it, and they were able to continue walking without much issue as they approached what appeared to be some kind of beach.
Before they could investigate further however, Darren jerked and ducked as he sensed something flying at them, but he didn't pull Sable down fast enough and she was hit square in the head. Darren cringed in sympathy when he heard the loud thunk, turning around with confusion while Sable prepare to read the riot act to whoever was responsible. Looking at the ground, Darren found... A pokeball? Before Darren could question the strange situation, Sable became enveloped in a light that Darren had only seen associated with the capture and release of pokemon. Seeing Sable's physical form threaten to be sucked into the pokeball was frankly terrifying.
Thankfully she eventually returned to her normal physical form and the pokeball fell lifelessly to the ground, leaving Darren more confused than ever, but he quickly approached Sable to make sure she was okay. "Okay... This is getting a little too weird... I blame the poison types, some noxious fumes must have caused me to have really weird dreams or—" Darren muttered quietly to himself before a voice interrupted his fretful rambling.
It appeared that the oranguru was intent on capturing and training humans, not just pokemon. "Well... That's quite a role reversal. I'm afraid she's not available for capture though, so why don't you just—" Jin stepped in, summing up his point, only to get knocked back with a psychic blast. It seemed they both expected the psychic energy to dissapate ineffectually against Jin's dark aura, but Darren had already forgotten things worked differently here, and was alarmed to watch Jin get knocked onto his butt and turn into a zoroark before the oranguru sent a munna to deal with them.
"Wait... Were you the one who sent those munnas to knock us out in Vermillion?" Darren asked. Perhaps it was just a coincidence, but Darren had his suspicions. He put a hand on Sable's shoulder, shaking her gently as she yawned. "Don't fall asleep again. This situation is bad enough without getting into inception." He insisted with a small smile. Not to mention they still had the oranguru to deal with.

One corner of the white ape's mouth rose to a small smirk when Darren accused him of being the culprit behind their current state. "Among others," the psychic type admitted as he lobbed another pokeball, this one popping open to reveal what looked like a green and black orb with multicolored wings. Sable let out a small grumble as she recognized it as the same kind of pokemon as the one that had put her to sleep. "Although it would appear they only managed to complete half of their task. They were supposed to keep the lot of you subdued within this realm as well as outside it." The ape let out a sigh and shook his head. "No matter, we can fix that little issue right now," the psychic type assured the group as the lone eye on the sigilyph's head began glowing.
Although she was still feeling dozy from the yawning, Darren jostling her helped Sable focus on what was going on. "Right..." she mumbled back before glaring at the ape commanding the sigilyph. She wasn't dumb enough to focus her gaze on something trying to use hypnosis, at least not if she could help it. "Sing, Aria!" the teen commanded, and the swablu that had been flying overhead swooped down and let out several melodic chirps. Probably not the best command to give since the teen was already tired, but at least it forced the sigilyph to shut its eye and doze before it could put the teen to sleep. "Hmph. Trying to use my strategy against me?" the ape inquired judgmentally as Aria followed up with an assault of pecks. Not exactly the best move from the looks of things, as the swablu only managed to get two strikes in before the strange flying creature suddenly awoke with a cry. "Show these amateurs how it's done," the psychic ape commanded, and in response the sigilyph's eye once again began to glow. This time, Aria was unfortunate enough to have eye contact with the strange pokemon and fell to the ground fast asleep.
Surprisingly enough, Sable didn't seem all that bothered by her swablu being put to sleep. If anything, she actually seemed confident. "Okay Aria, nap time's over!" the teen called out to the bird pokemon, who... just kept sleeping. Huh? "Uh... Come on? Wake up?" No effect, the bird pokemon was still sleeping away, and the teen's confidence was quickly punctured as a strong gust of wind from the sigilyph's sparse wings blew Aria back towards Sable. The oranguru chuckled at the look of confusion on Sable's face. "Ah yes, if there's anything your people are famous for, it's that little trick of yours. Did you honestly think it would work here?" Sable grumbled a bit at the psychic ape's taunt, then shrugged. "It was worth a shot," she countered neutrally before unclipping Aria's ball and recalling the swablu. "Your turn, Honey," the teen said, and the mega beedrill took a position in front of the teen, taking a hit from the gust of wind the sigilyph blew at either Aria or Sable herself. Hard to tell at this point, but it honestly could have been either.
The oranguru was unamused with the change in combatant. "Put it to sleep," the ape commanded, and like Aria, Honey had the misfortune of being put under by the sigilyph's hypnosis. Also like before, the sigilyph began blowing strong gusts of wind at its opponent to wear it down. "A foolish move. Your pokemon will be defeated soon enough," the psychic type claimed, but this time it was Sable's turn to give her foe a displeased look. "...Do you think I'm stupid?" she asked, but didn't really give the oranguru a chance to answer before firing off another question. "Did you really think I wouldn't notice the kinds of damage attacks were doing here?" While the ape pokemon had moved a hand as he was about to answer the first question, the second question made him freeze. "This isn't the first time I've seen an inverse battle with a constant trick room effect." That was... actually true. She recalled that during her brief jaunt in the distortion world, she had been stuck battling under similar conditions against the few pokemon she faced. "Your sigilyph's attacks are barely doing more than tickling Honey, and if it had a more useful move, you would have commanded it to use it by now," the teen spelled out, then glanced over when she noticed that her mega beedrill was finally roused from her slumber. "Drill run," the teen commanded, and since Honey was also familiar with the type of battle she was in, the bee didn't even hesitate when following her trainer's command, striking the sigilyph before it could hover out of the way.

Condensing a some of those turns into a smaller number because those sleep rolls were ridiculous. And in hindsight... I... Forgot about that huge number of status-healing items and berries that Sable has... So it's also to explain why she didn't just use those.

Their makeshift plan set in motion, the team set forth to lure their observer out one way or another. But constantly being on the move it was likely at some point the stalker would reveal themselves. Louhi did his best to try and not give it away that he was listening to the waters, but with all the activity in the waters it made it hard for the psychic-type to really focus on one area in particular. It was made even harder then suddenly a clutch of Mudkip appeared before them, their 'leader' aka the biggest of the bunch seemed to challenge Evan to a battle. Aki was of course quick to swim forward, the fire-bird had been enjoying these fights as of late. It was a fantasy come true to put a Mudkip of all Pokemon in it's place. Being tormented with water and mud was no longer an aspect in this world. "You really wanna fight?" Evan arched a brow. The Mudkip declared it's intentions, swimming up with a puffed up chest. "Alright, go ahead Aki." Evan motioned.
There was no need to say it twice, Aki rushed forward and with a heated up body he slammed into the mud-fish with such gusto it knocked the Mudkip back like a bowling ball, knocking it's little followers off in every which direction. The challenger was down on the word go it seemed. The Mudkip recovered, quickly shouting out a few choice words, which were likely none to kind. Louhi confirmed this be stepping forward. 'You lost fair and square. The rules of the world may be skewed but as far as I understand it, Aki was fighting to the best of his abilities.' The fox stated sternly. The Mudkip puffed a cheek narrowing his gaze. It looked as though the Mudkip was going to try attacking again, but then a wicked cold current passed around them, making the Mudkip's brash tune suddenly change into one of fear.
And with that, the Mudkip and his gaggle of followers were gone. Leaving Evan shivering in the freezing water. "A-are w-we sudd-den-denly n-near a g-g-gl-glac-cier?" He asked between chattering teeth. Aki swam back to Evan offering his trainer some of his warmth. It certainly seemed so... but for the climate to change so drastically was absurd to the psychic fox. It was then a sudden series of... what sounded like 'beeps' echoed from a nearby mountain that likely stretched up above the water. In a tight ravine flashing red lights glimmered in a sort of pattern before vanishing, as it likely noticed it had been spotted. "D-did you-u see th-that -too, Lo-oh-uhi?" Evan inquired. The psychic nodded. Very suspicious. While both hated to stay in the freezing water, they had to follow whatever those flashing lights were. Evan did his best to concentrate, eventually managing to dream up a wet suit with harmless smoldering coals in his clothes... dreams were a wondrous thing, and thankfully he could dream himself warm in the most unconventional of ways. At least it was enough for now to follow the strange lights into the Ravine it had vanished into.
Meanwhile, up on shore; Sylph, Gnome, Yakule, Origin, Halvard and Stian were witness to something quite odd. In the far distance, the group watched as two more humans came close to the water, only to be stopped by an odd looking ape-like Pokemon. None of Evan' team had ever seen anything like it, nor had they seen the pink think floating at it's side. Sneaking closer Origin was the first to look in awe. He recognized these humans! Yes, he might be a bit of a meat head, but his memory was pretty spot on. He was sure he'd seen this group of humans before at that one place. Telling the others as much, it took but a moment for Stian to also recognize them. Though he hadn't really been around all the much during the time Evan had come across this duo. Origin thought about approaching them, but at the same time he didn't want to get caught up in the fighting, so once the ape-Pokemon finally gave in and conceded defeat, letting the humans leave in peace he'd step forward. If that ever was the case though. The dragon did find it odd that the ape seemed to be commanding the Pokemon as if they were it's own Pokemon.... Pokemon being the trainer to other Pokemon? What an odd notion.

Since they hadn't made any sort of commotion to alert her, Sable and her team didn't really notice the gaggle of pokemon whose attention she had attracted. She was still a bit more focused on the pokemon in front of her, who recalled the downed sigilyph with a deep frown. "A surprising amount of attention to detail from a brute such as yourself," the psychic ape commented as he reached for the third pokeball on his sash. "Very well. How about something you're not as familiar with?" After being lobbed, the pokeball popped open to reveal a pokemon that Sable had not seen before. It looked like some sort of pink bird with a feather skirt with similiar feathers forming 'hands' at the tips of its wings. The odd pokemon swayed its hips back and forth rhythmically as it watched for whatever move its opponent would make.
Even though Sable was completely unfamiliar with the pokemon, it wasn't hard for her to take a guess at what types it had. Based on the weird ape and his team being attracted by the incense, the teen was willing to bet the bird was some sort of psychic type, while the fact that was a bird meant it was almost certain the pokemon was some sort of flying type. "...Okay, now this is outright insulting," Sable stated as she put her left hand on Honey's shoulder. With her right, she grabbed a pokeball from her belt. "You did just see what Honey did to your other flying type, right?" Sable let out a sigh, then tossed the ball she had in hand out in front of her mega beedrill. Out popped the dozy vulpix Sable had, who seemed to accept that she just wasn't going to be getting a good nap anytime soon. Especially not when her very presence made the sun shine even brighter than it normally would. "I'd say you're 'lucky' that I'm not the sort that wants an easy win, but given you're psychic I'm sure 'luck' has little to do with it."
The white ape pokemon let out a grunt to confirm Sable's assumption. "Obviously. I would not have allowed this fight otherwise," the psychic type claimed before waving his leaf fan in the direction of the dozy vulpix. "Pound." At the white ape's command, the strange bird took several twisting steps forward before smacking its target hard with one of its wings. The bird then took several steps back to try and avoid whatever its opponent might do to try and retaliate. The hit knocked the fire type back, but after shaking her head the vulpix seemed more or less fine. "Ember!" Sable called out, but the smaller fire type was annoyed and when she opened her mouth, instead of a few small flames, a roaring stream of fire struck the ground behind the bird before twisting to encircle the pokemon in a rising pillar of flames. "...Or fire spin. That works too...""Vol," the small fire type replied with a nod to her trainer's meek acceptance, satisfied the two could come to an easy agreement.
Although irritated, the white-furred pokemon was not concerned by the vulpix's alternate choice in move. If anything, he seemed pleased by it. "At least the pokemon under my command respect me enough to follow my orders. Perhaps if you-""Quick attack." The psychic type's monologue was quickly cut off by Sable's command. With no concern for the flames circling her foe, the vulpix was quick to follow her trainer's orders and charge straight through, slamming into the trapped bird. The flames dispersed as the two broke through them, revealing that the pink pokemon had been knocked unconscious quite easily. "Looks like she follows my orders just fine." The comment from the trainer made the ape grumble as he recalled the downed bird pokemon. Meanwhile, the vulpix under Sable's care padded back to her current trainer and sat down nearby in case her abilities were requested again.
By now Jin wasn't feeling as dizzy, the disorientation from the confusion he was struck with beginning to wear off. After shaking his head, the zoroark put back up his usual illusion before starting to get to his feet. He didn't think he'd need to interfere with this fight, but he still kept a close eye on the ape pokemon in case it tried anything funny. Sable's pokemon might have been able to handle whatever the overgrown monkey sent out, but that didn't mean the thing didn't have a dirty trick or two hidden in its cloak.

Now rather irritated, the strange ape pokemon sent out something that looked even stranger. There was no other way to define the pokemon as anything but alien. It certainly wasn't any sort of pokemon Sable had seen before. "Strike with confusion," the ape pokemon ordered and, before Sable had decided on what pokemon to use against the strange psychic type, a new blast of psychic energy was heading in her direction. "Fire spin!" the teen called out since her choices for an immediate battler were pretty limited at the moment. Thankfully, her vulpix was willing to get back into the fight and loosed another vortex of flame at her foe, though at the cost of being struck with the psychic attack intended for her trainer. Like before, the fire type followed up with a surprisingly speedy strike and the weird pokemon was knocked unconscious.

Given the fact that four of his pokemon had fallen so far while his opponent had not lost a single one yet, the white ape was surprisingly fine with how the battle had been going. Then again, although none of her pokemon were unconscious, most of the pokemon Sable had previously used in battle were unfit to continue fighting for one reason or another. With one fast asleep, one badly damaged, and a third both asleep and badly damaged due to a bad gamble on the redhead's part, that only left the mega beedrill and two pokemon the teen had yet to call out as viable threats. So when the pokeball-chucking pokemon recalled the strange alien he had used and sent out a floating hunk of rock that looked like a miniature sun, Sable was actually starting to get a bit nervous. The others had been fairly weak, but one trait the trainer knew was common with single-stage pokemon was that they tended to have access to a handful of powerful moves from the start. Even worse, Sable recalled from when Darren showed her dex info from the Solrock he caught before that of those powerful moves, the floating rock had access to strong fire type attacks. That meant trouble for her growlithe, so that really only left two options since Jin was still pretty bad off and she didn't want to risk him getting knocked out. "...Looks like I'm gonna need you again, hun," Sable said, and in response Honey once again moved to hover in front of her trainer.
The strange ape pokemon scoffed as, yet again, Honey was the pokemon Sable called upon to oppose his choice in battler. "For someone who claims to dislike an easy battle, it certainly looks like you are heavily relying on one of the few pokemon you have that has any sort of decent training," the white-furred pokemon chastised, then smirked. "It is apparent that you are nowhere near as skilled at raising pokemon as you have deluded yourself into believing. If anything, I shall be doing your pokemon a favor once you have been subdued." The ape then gave a dismissive wave of the fan it carried. "Wear the beedrill down with fire spin." At the fellow psychic's command, the solrock began to rotate, slow at first but soon picking up speed as embers flared up around it. Soon those small embers became roaring flames which snaked out from around the solrock to surround Honey.
As much as Sable wanted to snap back at the overgrown monkey with some sort of retort, she needed to focus on the battle at hand. Even though the fire itself barely singed the bee, the heat surrounding her was oppressive. With the damage she had already taken from the fights she had been in earlier, Sable didn't want to risk the bug pokemon being stuck in the fire pillar longer than she had to. Unfortunately, Honey really only had one move that would be of any actual effect right now... "...Poison sting," the teen reluctantly commanded, an almost embarrassing thing to instruct her beedrill to do considering how weak the move was. But, in spite of the changes to effectiveness, drill run still wouldn't be able to reach the solrock while fury cutter was likely to be cut down in effectiveness, so poison sting was the only realistic choice Sable had out of Honey's attacks.
The white ape laughed as the mega beedrill flew towards the solrock at blinding speed... then suddenly stopped less than a foot away from her target. For a solid several seconds, Honey stared at the solrock and the floating rock stared right back at her. Then, very gently, the mega beedrill lightly poked the psychic stone right between the eyes with the tip of one of her stingers. Almost immediately, the solrock dropped from the air and landed with a muffled thud, leaving an indent where it hit the ground. Both Sable and the ape in the purple cloak just stared in disbelief while, mostly ignored in the background, Jin shuddered slightly. Apparently the zoroark really was justified in not wanting Honey to accidentally poke him with her stingers.

Walking Pokemon ⇨
After several moments, the psychic ape finally recalled his downed solrock. "I... Seem to have underestimated the increase in power your beedrill's current form provides," the white-furred pokemon admitted sheepishly as he clipped the solar pokemon's ball back onto the belt draped across his chest. That didn't keep the psychic's calm demeanor from quickly returning as he plucked yet another ball off and tossed it in front of him. "But that is all she gains, power with no endurance." The ball popped open and, with a flash of light, a lunatone appeared to stare down the poison bee and her trainer. "In relying so heavily on that power, you have pushed her too far and shall now suffer the consequences. Moonblast!" the ape telepathically barked. A small orb of pink light appeared between the tips of the moon pokemon's form, building up power before a bright beam of energy burst forth from it. The pink energy struck Honey hard, knocking the beedrill back into Sable and sending both of them to the ground with a pair of yelps.
Sable let out a light groan and some curses as she shifted under her beedrill, trying to at least get one of her arms out from under the large bug. Easier said than done for the teen, considering the bee's mega form weighed in at nearly ninety pounds. Sable might have been strong for her size, but even with Jin trying to help lift Honey off of her, the teen wasn't making any headway squeezing out from under the heavy bee. The ape let out a chuckle as it grabbed another empty pokeball. "Since you're clearly in no condition to defend yourself, I see no point in delaying this any further," the pokemon stated in what was probably an attempt at justifying its actions. It chucked the pokeball at the pinned trainer with a satisfied smirk... but soon had a look of shock on his face as the ball was shattered from colliding with the point of one of Honey's stingers. The mega beedrill had managed - with a little help - to get herself propped up enough to use her wings. She was wobbly and looked like she was probably going to fall to the ground at any moment, but Honey was up and ready to fight.
Now that she wasn't pinned under a heavy bug, Sable was able to shift herself to a sitting position. She was about as surprised as that weird ape thing that Honey was still conscious after such a heavy hit, but she wasn't about to let the bee's surprising sturdiness go to waste. "Poison sting! Knock it out!" the teen commanded, Honey zipping forward to close the distance between herself and the lunatone before Sable could even get out half of what she said. Unlike the solrock, where the 'attack' had just been a gentle poke, the lunar pokemon ended up getting one of the mega beedrill's stingers rammed right into its stone 'beak', causing several cracks to form through the stone protrusion. The lunatone was knocked back by the heavy hit before slamming to the ground with a loud thud. The stone pokemon let out a low groan, then fell silent, unconscious from the bee's strong attack. Honey fell to the ground soon after, still conscious but clearly in no condition to fight any longer.
With a soft grunt, Sable let herself be helped up off the ground by Jin. "Okay, that's six," the teen commented once she was back on her feet, dusting off the back of her pants. "You're done." With that, Sable began reaching behind her, but after fumbling around a bit, remembered that she didn't have her bag on before she fell asleep. She had stripped it off in a hurry when she got hit with that stray flamethrower back in Vermillion. Because of that, she was pretty much limited to pokeballs at the moment. But what about those potions she used earlier? Sable had kind of just grabbed them out of reflex, but technically there wasn't anything in that spot to grab. So maybe she could just... dream up some potions? Suddenly a small puff of white smoke appeared in her hand and when it cleared, there was a potion. "Oh. That's... handy," the teen said, not quite believing that something that silly had worked.
Before she could really start using them, though, Sable felt herself get yanked aside by Jin. A moment later, she couldn't really see anything different, but she definitely felt the rush of air from some sort of attack wooshing past. The teen grumbled as she looked towards the white ape, whose eyes were still glowing some from the confusion that it tried to inflict upon the teen. "That's it!" the redhead heard Jin snarl, then had to take a few steps back as the disguised zoroark spat a flamethrower at the psychic ape. As sure as she was that the dark type wouldn't have let her be caught in the attack's area, that didn't keep the flames he spewed from radiating a large amount of heat. The psychic type let out several yelps and shouts of pain as it hopped and jumped around while trying to pat out the flames. "Leave us alone or a little fire is going to be the least of your worries!" It was a bit of a surprise for Sable to suddenly hear the cheery dark type threaten someone, even if it was another pokemon, but considering that weird monkey thing kept trying to attack the teen, Sable couldn't really blame Jin for finally reaching the end of his patience. The warning seemed to work, though, and the white ape pokemon ended up doing some sort of weird wobble-hop away as it tried to put itself out at the same time, not caring that the belt sash with pokeballs it had been wearing had burned through enough to fall off. The monkey apparently considered its own safety more valuable than that of the pokemon it 'trained'.

Walking Pokemon ⇨
It wasn't until the ape pokemon hobbled well and truly out of sight that Sable let out a sigh of relief. That battle had been far more difficult than the teen had expected. "Come on. Let's get you all taken care of," Sable murmered as she dreamed up a small pile of berries, potions, and bandages. Up first was Honey, who had taken the brunt of the damage from the battle with that weird ape pokemon. Honestly, Sable was surprised the bee pokemon had managed to hang on after the beam she had been hit with. She was quite grateful the pokemon managed to pull through though, especially since she wasn't sure any of the other pokemon she had ready at the time would be able to withstand the sorts of attacks that the lunatone had at its disposal, and pulled the large bee pokemon into a careful hug as thanks once Honey was healed up. Next up was the vulpix, who also took some pretty big hits for her size, then Aria, who Sable treated with some potions before feeding a charred chesto berry to the bird. It was a little burnt, but still did the job and woke the bird pokemon up. While the swablu chirped happily and perched herself on top of Sable's head, the teen worked on the third pokemon that needed treatment, which was Jin. Even though he hadn't done much fighting, he still got knocked around a bit by that weird monkey thing, plus the disguised zoroark never did get healed up from his battle back in Saffron. Sol was the last to receive treatment, since all he needed was a chesto berry to wake up.
With all her pokemon treated, Sable unclipped Luna's ball and let it pop open so that Sol could be with his... friend? Sister? Sable wasn't sure, and hadn't asked yet. Much to the teen's surprise, although what popped out was certainly an eevee, the small pokemon was a silvery grey instead of having the usual sandy fur she had. On top of that, a moderate pile of stuff had materialized along with her, mostly shards of some sort of crystal but a few other things as well. There had even been another pokemon in the ball, somehow! "Why do you look different? Where did you even get all of this? And how did you fit another friend in your ball with you?" the teen asked through some giggles as she looked the bird pokemon over. It looked exactly the same as the one that ape thing left behind, except maybe a bit stronger. "Vee eevee~" Luna chirped back as Sol sniffed her over, which was... very unhelpful to the trainer. Not only could Sable not understand the various chirps or growls that pokemon made without Jin or someone else translating for her, but given all the eevee said was 'in a dream' or something to that effect the disguised zoroark's interpretation wasn't going to be of any real help.
Not getting anywhere with her questions, Sable scratched Luna behind the ear. She raised an eyebrow at how much more stiff the eevee's fur felt, then started looking over the various treasures the silver-furred pokemon had somehow acquired. There were actually quite a few useful things. An experience share, some wrapped candies, what looked to be some sort of excavation kit, more of those silver pokeballs like the one she kept Jin in, amd a couple more things that the trainer had no idea about. And a lot of crystals. "What even is this...?" the teen mused as she picked up one of the many shards the little eevee had collected from somewhere. Unlike pretty much all of the others, this one was some sort of shade of brown and had what looked like barbs at the two long points of the crystal. Sable stood and held the strange gem out for Darren to see. "Do you have any idea what this might be?" she asked, rather hopeful that the budding researcher might actually have some sort of clue what the item was.
While Sable was waiting for a response, Luna was chatting with the pink bird that had accompanied her to... well, they weren't awake yet, so another dream world? It seemed the bird had an interest in one of the items the shiny eevee had gathered during her mysterious journey, a small pot filled with some sort of sweet-smelling liquid. For a little while, Luna seemed indecisive, constantly looking between the pot, the bird, and Sable, as if she was hoping one of them would provide some sort of imput to help her make a decision. The bird chirped something else, and that ultimately seemed to be enough to convince the small eevee to nudge the jar of red liquid towards the pink bird. The psychic type chirped gratefully before dipping her beak into the jar's top, sipping at some of the fluid inside. Suddenly, the pokemon glowed white and the sillouette of her form shifted. When the glow faded, she was still a bird - and more or less the same size as she had been previously - but instead of a pecha pink, the pokemon's feathers were a fiery red with black accents. The way her feathers were positioned was vastly different as well, the feather skirt and headdress replaced by a showy tail and full wings. "Cori~" the bird chirped proudly as she struck a pose, enjoying the excited yipping sounds Luna and now Sol were making as they circled the bird pokemon.
"W-wait, did you just evolve?" Sable asked as she fumbled to pull out her pokedex. She still needed to get a case for that thing that was some color other than that blasted pink. After scanning the bird pokemon with the device, a picture came up, but rather than go into some sort of spiel about the pokemon, all Sable got was a short "No data available." That was... disappointing. "Um... Maybe I missed an update or something..." Sable mumbled as she pocketed the device. Maybe Darren would have better luck with his dex? Since she struck out with the pokedex, Sable pulled out her P*DA and scanned the bird with that, too. At least the pokemon didn't seem to mind, seeming to actually like the added attention. Like the pokedex, the P*DA had no pre-recorded information on the bird pokemon, but unlike the actual research device, Sable's preferred item started building itself a basic entry in the memo checker. It wouldn't have the sort of information that a file in the pokedex would, but it would at least give the teen what types the pokemon was as well as potential abilities. Like Sable guessed, the bird was obviously a flying type, but the fire typing looked interesting. But what was really odd was that the ability - called Dancer - didn't have a description yet. Did that mean it was a new ability? "Dancer, huh?" the teen commented as she tucked the P*DA away. "I guess I'll have to find out what that does- oh."
While the teen had been distracted with Luna's new friend, it seemed a gothita had gotten jealous of all the attention the bird pokemon was getting. Luna had stepped up to defend the fiery bird and ended up getting hurt pretty badly for it. Technically the gothita had gotten the worst of it, given the psychic type was unconscious and the shiny eevee wasn't, but the little normal type was still pretty bad off. "Okay, let's get you healed up, too," Sable said as she knelt down and dreamed up yet another potion to use. Once Luna was good as new, a couple of pokeballs were next to poof into existence, one to be tossed at the gothita and the other to be offered to the bird. Sable was... pretty sure that the graceful pokemon wasn't going to be able to return to Luna's ball. The flying type gently poked at the button on the ball's front with a feather 'finger' and allowed herself to be sucked inside. Once it clicked shut, the ball teleported away, taking the bird along with it. Sable was probably going to have to check her account on the PC to see if any of the pokemon she caught here were actually caught. She didn't expect them to be, but... This place seemed to have weird rules anyway.

Walking Pokemon ⇨
Now that the teen had a moment to relax, she looked over the pokemon she had let out. Not all of them were out of their balls, specifically the growlithe was still grounded for the time being. But there were several pokemon that hadn't gotten much chance to stretch out in a while. Lily in particular seemed pleased to be able to sniff around and explore, in spite of her timid nature. Jin was having a bit of a handful keeping an eye on the gekkit to make sure she didn't get into any trouble. Sable would have helped, but she had a trio of eevees yipping around and pouncing on each other. Most of her other pokemon were content to just laze about on the beach and soak up some sunshine, although it may have helped some that one of those pokemon happened to be the little sun-summoning vulpix. Even Honey, who was usually a bundle of energy, was content to lay down and rest for a while after how rough that battle had been. Aria was content to roost on Sable's head, fluffy wings curled around her body so that she looked like some sort of poofy hat, which pretty much meant the metapod that Sable was pretty sure she didn't catch was the only pokemon she had out that didn't really seem to care about what was going on. Oh. No, it evolved. The back of the metapod split open, allowing a butterfree to squeeze her way out of her previous stage. The wings were still wet, though, so she just joined the vulpix, persian, and the two grass types relaxing by the shore, spreading her new wings wide and slowly flapping them to let the damp wings air out.
Sable blinked a few times at the surprise of an evolution, then let out a small chuckle. "Well... Okay. I guess I have a butterfree now," the teen stated, even though it was something obvious enough that it probably didn't need to be said. Still, it just seemed a bit too surreal to the teen, given she didn't even remember catching a caterpie or metapod - although she did recall getting clonked on the head by a pokeball falling from the sky back at that renaissance faire, sometime after that incident with those Plasma grunts started up - and yet she had almost had a repeat of Honey's skipped evolution. At least she got to see the pokemon change this time instead of trying to let out a caterpie or metapod and instead ending up with a face full of powdery wings. That would probably have gone far worse than a surprise hug from a beedrill had, given the various forms of dust that came from butterfly and moth pokemon wings tended to have similar properties to the pollens and spores that grass types released. Sable wasn't keen on being accidentally poisoned, paralyzed, or trapped in a dream within a dream by one of her pokemon, especially one she hadn't gotten much of a chance to interact with. The teen had already been knocked around and dazed by various psychic attacks in this dream world, so she wasn't keen on finding out what else might be able to affect her.
While the teen was more than a bit distracted by her sudden acquisition of a butterfree, she failed to notice the group of pokemon that had taken in interest in Sable and her friends. So when one of the gaggle - a black tyrunt with yellow spikes - approached the small group, it was Jin who was aware of the newcomer. "Uh, hey there~" he greeted, a bit uncertain since he had no idea who the pokemon was or why they were interested in the group. It didn't seem like a psychic type, though, so the disguised zoroark hoped the small dinosaur was friendly. Or neutral, at least. Jin really wasn't in the mood for even more types of pokemon tormenting the group, especially when- "Vul!" -there were still other psychic types causing trouble, as the vulpix roasting a mime jr. that had been interfering with her attempted nap proved. "Oh, sorry. Hey, Sable?" After a quick apology to the tyrunt, Jin tried to get his trainer's attention for a moment. Once she turned to look at him, he pointed over towards the vulpix. "Looks like your fiery friend torched another one," he explained, so Sable nodded and tossed a ball at the downed mime. It sucked the psychic type insided and wobbled once before clicking shut and teleporting out of existence.
With that taken care of, Sable walked over to where Jin was talking with the odd dinosaur pokemon. She was also a bit wary for much the same reason as the dark type, but she was also willing to be friendly towards the unfamiliar pokemon. "Hello~ I haven't seen a pokemon like you before," the teen said as she knelt down on one knee to get a bit closer to eye level with the dragon. Although, now that she was paying more attention, Sable noticed that there were several other pokemon off in the distance. "Are those your friends over there? Did you all come here with a trainer?" Not that Sable expected the living fossil to actually vocalize an answer to her questions in a way she could understand, but the dinosaur could easily shake or nod his head in response. If worst came to worst, Jin could translate for the tyrunt so that the teen could understand him. While she waited for a reply, Sable left her hand out in front of her some so that the dinosaur could sniff it and, if he let her, could get a head rub from the teen.

While Evan ventured into a freezing ravine, up on shore his various Pokemon waited for his return. Origin, the braver of the bunch approached a pair of humans that seemed familiar to him finding one in particular was challenging a strange looking Pokemon who appeared to be in command of other Pokemon. Thankfully for the human, who was actually quite in control of her Pokemon for the duration of the battles until finally the ape subsided leaving her a victor. Not long after though, Origin and his companions were discovered. At first Origin wasn't sure how to respond to Jin in particular, arching his head to the side. They were both momentarily distracted before Origin could mutter much of anything by a Vulpix in the group attacking another psychic that had lingered in the shadows.
After the Mime Jr. was dealt with, the female human's attention was brought down upon Origin as well. 'Uhh Hello.' The Tyrunt responded, lifting up his head a bit. The rest of the group advanced to Origin's side. How was he to communicate that he recognized the humans in this area? Especially when he wasn't going to be easily recognized by them. He hadn't taken part in the fight against that strange psychic-type back then. It wasn't as if the Tyrunt was going to be hurt that he wasn't recognized. Being so low to the ground made it easy for him to be overlooked. Just wait until he evolved.
Evan in the meantime had made his way through the freezing waters to a cavern that rested above the water. The crystal clear icicles that grew from the ceiling of the underwater cavern appeared the sparkle as he looked over them. somehow a strange natural light in the cavern made it easily seen. Pulling himself up out of the water, the rest of his team did the same. finding themselves perfectly dry Evan changed his dream clothes back to his normal outfit finding it fitting for the cold area they were in. Not far in the cave, did they find flashing lights that seemed to be coming from every which direction given the icicles reflected the light easily. They'd have to pick a way to go and stick to it.
