AMBITIOUSAt a very young age, Morgan had it in his mind that he was going to be the Head Auror and no one was going to stand in his way. He was always eager to learn new things and would take any lesson anyone was willing to teach him. INTELLIGENTBrilliant scholastically, but only that. No musical or artistic talent to speak of. Capable of learning just about any lesson put before him. RESOURCEFULWhether it was finding things or finding the right people to find things, Morgan can always come up with what you're looking for. More than that, he also can find a solution for almost any problem. COURAGEOUSMorgan is brave and willing to stand up to any threat. He's good at threat management and while he knows when to run, he's usually the last out of a dangerous situation. NATURAL LEADERHe's a take charge kind of guy, but not in an overbearing sense. As a child, he was usually the leader of his friend group, often wound up in charge of projects, and even was given roles of leadership in the Aurors. COMPASSIONATEDespite the tough exterior, Morgan is really a kind soul. Always quick to help anyone, even an animal in need. He is a loving father and was a caring husband.
EARLY CHILDHOODMorgan is the second son of Taliesan and Mona Yarwood and the third child born into the family. His elder siblings are Seren and Arthur. Seren is five years older than Morgan, while Arthur is only two years older. The siblings didn't fight much growing up in their family home in Swansea and all have a love of the sea. Morgan learned to sail from his father around the age of four and was an accomplished sailor by the age of seven. He displayed his magic at an earlier age than his siblings and that made him proud. He was very excited to go to Hogwarts and join his siblings.
SCHOOL YEARSUpon arriving at Hogwarts, Morgan already had several friends, bonds formed either at Diagon Alley or on the train. It was a big surprise to him that he was sorted into Slytherin, but he quickly lived up to the expectations of the Sorting Hat. He was an ambitious student, studying any lesson he could. As a skilled wizard, he excelled in the subjects that required lots of spellwork. And while he also did well in the book studies classes, they weren't his favorites. He took every opportunity he could to learn new magic and by his fourth year, he knew his career path. He was going to become an Auror, no matter how complicated it was. Advancing into the O.W.L. level classes, he dedicated himself to his studies, putting in extra curricular studies into outside spells. And in his N.E.W.T. level classes, he excelled in his classes. Though he was insanely focused on his studies, Morgan still managed to be very popular among his classmates. He dated four different girls during his schooling. When he graduated, his friend circle included many from the years around him as well as his own classmates.
POST-GRADUATIONAfter graduation, Morgan moved to London and enlisted in the Auror training program. His high marks in all the required lessons, plus his extra studies, made him a good candidate. And he worked hard to earn his place among the Aurors. He forged strong friendships among many in the Auror corps and made it plainly well known that he was eventually gunning for the top spot. After completing training, he entered his probationary period and was paired with a senior Auror. On many occasions, he impressed his partner and quickly earned himself senior status. Morgan volunteered for many missions and gladly accepted any assignment, even inconsequential ones.
Though he had lived in London for many years, he longed to return to Wales and get back to his favorite hobby, sailing. He bought a small cottage in Caswell, near the rest of his family, and he bought a small sailboat. During his off time, he would sail up and down the coast of Wales, sometimes over to the coast of Ireland. It was on one of these sailing trips that he met the love of his life. He was sailing through particularly rocky waters when he encountered a stranded dinghy with a punctured hull. On it was Elain Hughes, a Muggleborn witch from Wales. Morgan gave her a lift back to the shore, and the two immediately hit it off. Though the two of them were twenty years apart in age, they quickly fell madly in love and moved in together. They married a year later, though Elain was already pregnant. Their daughter Ceridwen was born six months after the wedding. At Elain's request, she was born in a Muggle hospital so that her family could easily visit them. They raised Kerry in their cottage by the sea, and since both were avid sailors, Kerry was raised on the sea as well.
However, tragedy struck the happy family. They were out sailing when a thunderstorm sneaked up on the boat and capsized it. Morgan was able to grab a hold of six year old Ceridwen, but was unable to find Elain in the storm. They were rescued the next day, but there was no sign of her anywhere. Morgan was heartbroken and grief stricken. He'd failed to protect his family. But he needed to be strong for Kerry, who also was traumatized. Seeing her need, he left his job at the Aurors' Office to watch over her. The family helped out financially for a while while Morgan helped his daughter cope with the loss. He never forgave himself for losing her.
Eventually, Morgan acquired a small shop in Caswell and opened an antique shop, selling Muggle antiquities. He often bought books to bring home to Kerry, as she had developed a love of reading in the absence of sailing or swimming. And while he was forever terrified of losing her as well, he continued to urge her to go back to the ocean. As she got older, he dreaded the day she would get her Hogwarts letter, because he knew that meant she would leave him. But he loved her and he knew she would love the school.

ADVENTUROUSKerry love adventure, whether in real life or in books. She's active and enjoys hiking, climbing, swimming... anything that can lead to an adventure. FRIENDLYAn understatement, to be truthful. She will talk to anyone and anything, from random people on the streets, to animals, to your common house plant. And she's exceptionally good at making friends. TALKATIVEOn the talking note, she's very good at it. Talking about anything, really. Give her a subject and she can talk on it for hours, even if she doesn't know much about the topic. But don't get her wrong, she also loves conversation. GOOFYWhether it's silly faces or wacky walks, Kerry is easily described as goofy. She's bound to make even the gloomiest person smirk, and the less gloomy laugh. Sometimes it's intentional and sometimes it's just her nature. TRUSTINGAnother good descriptor would be gullible, and this is definitely to a fault. Now, she's not dumb, so if you told her the sky was green, she wouldn't believe you. But if you told her there were sweets hidden under the Devil's Snare, she might go crawling around to look for them. DEVOTEDDefinitely a friend through thick and thin, once you earn Kerry's trust and love, she will follow you to the ends of the Earth. Always ready to stand up for a friend or help out one in need, Kerry is the best kind of friend to have.

EARLY CHILDHOODCeridwen is the child of Morgan and Elain Yarwood, born in bustling Swansea, though she was raised in sleepy Caswell just outside the city. Her father is a pureblood wizard of the Welsh Yarwood family and her mother was a Muggleborn witch, also of Welsh descent. They met on the water by accident, and though their age difference, they had immediately fallen in love. Ceridwen was born six months after their wedding, in a Muggle hospital at the behest of her mother. They brought her to the small, but modest Yarwood family in Caswell and determined to raise her knowing both Muggle and Magical worlds. And because both Morgan and Elain loved the ocean, she would grow up knowing the waters as a friend.
Even at a young age, Kerry grasped all things water related. She was an avid swimmer, a skilled sailor and a decent fisherman. She also enjoyed hiking the trails around her rocky shoreline and chasing the family dogs around their yard. However, tragedy would soon strike the family. One day while sailing off the coast, a thunderstorm crept up on the boat. Whipping waves and stinging winds battered the boat as they struggled to bring her back to shore. A powerful wave upturned the boat and cast the three into the dangerous waters. Morgan was able to find Kerry and secure her, but Elain disappeared into the waters and was lost at sea. Morgan desperately searched for her to no avail. The two were rescued the next day, clinging to a board from the battered ship. It was the last time Morgan left the house without his wand and the last time Kerry sailed for more than a year. She was six when she lost her mother.
The experience made Ceridwen forever terrified of thunderstorms and even the sound of thunder is enough to send her into a panic. For more than a year, Kerry avoided the ocean and remained inside. This was how she developed her love for books, reading everything that her father had in their library. Hoping to bring her out of her sorrow, her father invested in more books, which Kerry consumed with a hungry passion. She became invested in the detective work of Nancy Drew and owns the entire collection of books as well as the far away world of Wonderland, where anything is possible. Eventually, she forgave the ocean for taking her mother away and returned to her favorite hobbies of swimming and sailing. When she received her Hogwarts letter, she was excited, but the potential of having to leave her father alone stung her sense of duty, something her father secretly cherished, but openly stated was unnecessary.
SCHOOL YEARS

The friend she'd met at Diagon, Lavinia, was sorted into Ravenclaw while she was sorted into Hufflepuff, but Kerry could live with that.
