Navy tilted his head, his plan was to go check on his fish at his booth but when he heard all the chaos he turned to face the direction of where he was coming from and blinked. Suddently Poof, poof, poof three changlings revealed themselves in the time frame of when he left Shadowed's booth and on his way back to his own booth. This was defintely a year the spring market he wouldn't forget ever.
He looked up at the darkening sky as clouds rolled in, they were pitch black and really warm. He jumped a little as he heard loud thunder roared over the Spring Market. Then he saw a crack of blue magic hitting against what seemed like a barrier and within seconds of it making contacting with the barrier it shattered. His mind once again was blown, he sighed a bit. It didn't seem like this was a good year to come to the Spring Market but it made for an interesting story one day.
As the dark clouds cleared a towering changeling appeared, from the air she was giving off he figured she was the mother of the changelings that revealed themselves to everypony in the Market. To him she gave off a aura of power and grace both at the same time. This was the first time he had actually seen a changling in person, he had heard stories of them when he was a child and how bad they were, but it seemed the changlings that disguised themselves among the regualar ponies were genuine about having fun and enjoying themselves, he mentally couldn't put blame on them. They seemed like every other pony living here and just wanted to have fun and let loose and just enjoy.

At first Shadowed stood by what she said, and she honestly meant it deep in her heart. She loved Piper, or she was telling herself she did, and the fact she was a Changeling just made things a bit....different. Not wrong, not so different it was bad, just different. The youngest Cobalt was a Changeling and that was okay, because she'd come to love being with the family and Shadowed couldn't really discount all the good times they'd had together. The whole day had been nothing but a whirl of emotions and poor reactions on her part, so even though she was still running on nothing but adrenaline and almost instinct the mare felt she could calm down.
It looked as though no one was going to hurt Piper, Royal had come out from being frozen, and before Shadowed could take a breath more changelings emerged. Faces she knew, faces she thought she could call friends. It.....she tried to tell herself, again, that it wasn't bad it was just different. They were fundamentally the same ponies she'd known year after year, and so she needed to swallow that unease. No one was getting hurt, no one was being angry - until Razzle changed and called. For something, for someone?
For the Queen, the "mother", who appeared like a literal bolt from the blue. Shadowed Flowers was awed, in both terror and majesty if she felt honest and sappy enough to say, but she remained where she was to watch. It felt like she was watching some sort of play that just happened to have her as a character in it, and she was about to turn and say something to Piper when the blue mare's words hit her ears.
Softly, silently, she felt her heart squeeze within her chest. They...they'd been nothing but a tool, her and her family. The Cobalts had simply been used by Piper to get to Glitch, and everything else that had come with that goal had just been....well. Secondary? A silly bonus? All those memories together, of Shadowed watching Piper sew, or sneaking around to do things, or getting scolded together.
None of it was because the Changeling had wanted to experience a family outside of the Hive.
It had all been just so Piper could meet Glitch.
There was a snap in her chest, like something dropped and broke. There was no hate reaction, no need to be angry or rage or anything else. Instead a few tears slipped from her eyes and dripped to the ground. The single tear or two was followed in rapid succession until Shadowed was properly crying, and she bit at her lip to stifle anything more.
She may have said she hated her family, but she didn't honestly feel that way at all. She hated some of their actions, yes, but in the end? She couldn't even be mad that they were used, not with how she'd acted during the day.
Shadowed Flowers deserved this.

There was just so much going around the little Pegasus, her mind was just swirling around. Something was pounding, probably a headache… but it could also be her heart, which felt like it was trying to pound out of her chest right about now. She felt like she just ran in the middle of something that was way over her head. There were ponies arguing with each other, ponies that seemed petrified and frightened of the newly revealed changeling, ponies panicking about the incoming mysterious voice… and little her not knowing how to handle it. One part of her wanted to keep asking questions to Piper, but she was already going through a lot with the other ponies also asking questions and the like. She also wanted to check on Royal, but he seemed preoccupied with another pony yelling at him… and she didn’t have the nerve to come between that. The mare could slightly understand the chaos, someone who they thought were family for years suddenly becoming a Changeling… she would probably be a little shaken herself. As a matter of fact… neither her nor Razzle have been able to find Rose Water yet. Could it be that she was a changeling and is just hiding? Or perhaps she was taken by them? Naaaah… the latter didn’t make sense. If they really wanted to hurt any of them, they would have done so the moment they were first revealed… right? Be positive Prism. She slowly backs away, not scared or anything, but more so having the feeling that she really didn’t need to be in the middle of this. Relief slides through her body when Razzle comes running up to her, taking the moment to join him to show she’s alright. ”Y-You don’t have to worry… I’m fine. Th-they seem friendly.” She tries to comfort her brother, though may be trying to comfort herself really. When she thought everything was over and finished with, it was only just beginning. Finally turning to see what happened to Cassiopeia, considering she sort of left her behind like that… she was sure she would understand. That’s when she noticed another Changeling had revealed themselves, and this time, it was a more familiar face. Prism couldn’t help but let out the tiniest shriek in surprise at the sight of Cherry Limeade’s true form as a changeling. She even finds herself backing up a little, more out of taught instinct rather than actual fear of her friend. It was overwhelming to find out that there were these Changelings, creatures she was always taught were such terrible things, amidst everyone at the festival… seemingly impersonating other ponies. What happened to those ponies? Are they gone? Are they the changelings, just changed? If the latter, are they the same pony… or were they different now? Judging by Piper, and now Cherry, it doesn’t seem like they’ve changed any. It also didn’t seem like any bad came from them revealing themselves, with the exception of the panic and arguing. Heck, even the ponies that were previously frozen seemed to be returning to normal; spotting the first pony to be afflicted by the condition soon free at Cherry’s shift back to their true form.
But that wasn’t the nail to the head in Prism’s world turning upside down. Moving to Razzle, wanting to be closer to someone she knew for comfort and support, she huffs when he quickly moves away toward the bright orange pony; remaining silent while he spoke. Her bright eyes continue to watch him though, listening to him trying to cheer the other pony up. That was the brother she knew. Yeah, he was a cocky jerk sometimes, but she knew he was a very caring stallion on the inside. Little did she know that there was more to him in the inside than she knew. The mare’s expression shifts to something that was a mix of curiosity and confusion. Who was he talking to? Surely not her, right? She was extremely confused at this point as the unicorn continues to talk, looking around to try to discern who it was he WAS talking to. Is he talking to the changelings, but why would he? Before she could ask any questions, the scream Razzle lets out has her ears flattening against her head with her feet stumbling backwards in surprise. ”R-Razzle?” She questions softly, her attention never leaving the blue unicorn. Even when the bright flash happened, her eyes didn’t drift as it clears to reveal Razzle in a different… light. He was also a changeling? But how? For how long? This couldn’t be real, could it? Her heart felt like it was going to pop right out of her chest. She’s scared and worried. Did this mean that Rose is a Changeling too? For that matter, was she? She doesn’t even know anymore.
This just wasn’t happening right now. Her brother just showed himself to be a changeling, and is now calling… screaming for someone. Well… maybe this would explain their parent disappearing on them? No… no! Heaven forbid, that’s a terrible thought. Right now, her biggest fear was if this revelation would make them not a family anymore.
Then, the humming started. Ugh… what now?!
Her gaze drifts upwards in time to see the shield around them crumble and fall, the watches the cloud of black approaching before landing. Her eyes wide in shock and amazement. Worried about the lines and lines of changelings, but in awe of the mare that landed soon after. Was that who Razzle called? She looks breathtaking… literally and figuratively. The small mare just watches as, one by one, the changelings rush over to greet their “mother”, her heart sinking a little when Razzle goes running too… and like the others, was scooped into a hug. If she was honest, she was a little jealous of Razzle, as well as the other Changelings, and their mother. At the same time though, the little Pegasus was happy to see the happy family and the fact that the mother wasn’t mad.

For the moment, Serene had left her sibling's side to review the situation in her head. It seemed that everypony had calmed down for a bit, which meant that she could take a breath to figure out her thoughts. Or at least she tried to, until Razzle decided to change and then scream to the skies. She tried to cover her ears with her hooves but it didn't quite work.
And suddenly, there was chaos once again. Other ponies started to change and reveal themselves as well, changelings. And then suddenly she heard humming. It was almost as annoying as a mosquito squeal but it had a lower pitch. Still, it wasn't pleasant to hear, and Serene desperate looked for some noise-cancelling headphones.
But then she looked up and saw what it was, or at least the giant blobby mass that she could see considering that the ponies that were flying were quite a ways up. But a crack of blue magic appeared and the shield shattered, for a moment Serene used one of her legs to shield her face, just in case the shield acted like some sort of glass.
The dark mass landed though, and one of the ponies stood out. And she recognized the voice. It was the queen, and she did not sound happy or friendly or any sort of positive adjective that Serene could come up with.
Serene decided to stay silent and out of the Queen's way, moving around to see if she could find a better spot to look at the others seeing other flashes of light of some of the other ponies changing, when suddenly she heard "Piper" asking Glitch if Glitch wanted to meet the queen. Serene looked at Piper like the changeling had grown three heads. It was just asked so casually! And to meet someone who clearly didn't want to be hear and if looks could kill, would have massacred at least 2/3rds of the regular ponies at this point.
But what could she do at this point? The Queen hadn't done anything else as of yet. Serene continued to move through the crowd, until she heard Silver Gale muttering about vacations after whatever this was was finally over. Serene made her way over to the other pony. "You and me both Silver. I'm planning on a beach house. You can come if you want." Serene said, sounding resigned to the fact that she was going to stay as far away as possible from this place after this.

A frown settled upon the yellow pegasus's face when his words were spat back him, the meaning behind them twisted and mangled until he wasn't sure that's what he'd said. Starshine sighed, bowing his head slightly to the disgruntled pony before him. He was tired of it all already and when Piper called out the other changelings, he frowned again.
Was she really serious? Surely, she didn't mean to--
Everything in him stopped for a brief moment as, one after the other, more changelings revealed themselves. Cherry first and Delicate Trinket was unfrozen. It was Razzle, though, with his call into the sky that surprised him most. Miss Bullseye had been next, shrinking to a size so tiny she could very well have been overlooked had she hidden. He'd expected a great many things but admittedly that hadn't been one of them. The chaos and panic that surrounded their actions, even if mild, further set his jaw on edge. This would surely not end well.
He'd felt the hum in his hooves before he saw her, glorious and battle ready as she emerged from her army. A soft sigh escaped his lips and the stallion visibly relaxed. He was so relieved to see her again instead of only having her voice to take comfort from that he unwittingly dropped his disguise. The same dark blue magic enveloped him, glowing brightly a moment before fading away.
He didn't spare a glance at the ponies around him. He knew he--as well as his hivemates--would all have more explaining to do if things went smoothly, but for now… for now he wanted to be near his mother. He'd spent so long away from her that he needed a bit of reassurance of her presence, perhaps in the form a hug she so willing doled out.
Quickly, he trot up next to the Queen, gingerly leaning against her leg as he moved beside her. For now, it was enough. With a small smile, he turned emerald eyes up to her as he spoke, “Bug's out of the bag now, Mother.”

tab Meet.... her? His ears perked for a moment before he felt that nauseous wave hit his stomach.
tab "U-Uh, maybe... maybe later? I think she's busy right now... maybe... and I don't want to disturb her... it must be really stressful already... I don't want to be a part of that burden..." he stammered, although if he was truly honest, he doubted the queen would want to meet someone like him. Someone small, and introverted, and...
tab He bit back that last cruel comment and instead looked nervously at Piper and then the queen. Of course he wanted to talk to her. She was the changeling queen. He wanted to know things, to ask her about her experience and perhaps offer his hoof in helping. He wanted to do a lot of things, really, but he was frozen on the spot in fear and uncertainty.
tab "... Do you think it'll all be okay?" he asked Piper, voice small and conflicted.

"I-- sure! I figure this is as good of a time as any to meet the parents," Delicate Trinket joked, voice slightly uneasy. It was hard to come to terms with, but... where better to start than to jump in? It wasn't like she was going to change anything by pretending Cherry wasn't a changeling. This was just... a part of life! She let out a shaky little laugh, and nuzzled him back when he offered the affectionate gesture.
As they trot over, she offered out a hoof to the changeling queen."
"Um. Hi there. I'm. I'm Delicate Trinket. Sorry we, uh. Got off on the wrong hoof."

((THANKS FOR MAKING ME RP WITH MYSELF TIG. GREAT. LOVE IT.))
As Cherry approached, Morpho delightedly pulled the larger of her children into an embrace and hummed fondly. The delight was interrupted by the appearance of a small blue pegasus, who she looked down at with suspicion.
"You... you were the first to levy an accusation against my children" she growled, ears flattening. But then she looked back to Cherry and sighed, the anger leaving her body.
"But my Cherry is very fond of you. Believe me, I've been well aware of that little development." This was said with a teasing noogie to the big bug, her grin slightly feral.
"I am glad to finally meet you."

How could the others leave her behind? Sure, she had attempted to stay close, but with her nerves being completely fried and he mind spinning the young pony didn't know how else to handle her queasy stomach other than resting. She expected all the others to run off- but when Prism abandoned her she seemed somewhat wounded. Which was saying a lot about how she felt for the other. Sure, she had promiscuous tendencies and a greed for attention, but this was a feeling entirely new. A feeling of disappointment, because even if she could flag down a new pony to come to her aid it wasn't Prism. In a soft flustered huff she began to kick the grass, glaring at the floor as the sounds about her began to pick up. Her ears pricked up, her eyes scanned the surrounding area to find she was indeed all alone. With a haughty huff the mare began to trot towards the commotion.
As Cassi was making her way over though there was a shrill cry. One that sent her skidding to a stop as the shield began to light up. Then, it was completely shattered, letting in what seemed to be a black mass. She gasped at the sight, her eyes lighting up with an indescribable feeling. "P-Prism," she muttered to herself before feeling a valiant rush of bravery fill the dainty little pony. Now, with her pace picked up and her determination high she began to sprint, galloping towards the commotion and upon reaching the clearing she gasped at the sight. The army, the ten foot tall beauty that stood with adoring changlings at her feet. She scanned the area, ignoring all that chaos that was buzzing (literally) about, and finally she locked eyes on the familiar face she was searching for.
Cassiopeia rushed over to the mare, her poor lungs burning as she cursed her sore hooves. She was not one who usually galloped for it messed up the shine on her hooves, but this had been urgent. A once in a blue moon motivation for the girl. "Prism! Prism, are you-... tell me you're alright." She almost sounded frantic as her eyes focused on the other, scanning her all over, head to toe despite the insanity taking place around them.
