「PERSONALITY」
Valentine is a husk of who he used to be. He's bitter, isolated, and cold to the touch. He doesn't offer kindness nor does he willingly seek others out. Losing his wife has ended his desire to be compassionate or warm. Valentine wants nothing more than to be left alone to die, but he knows he can't do that. So he just wanders around, emptily doing his jobs and repeating routines in hopes he'll eventually run himself dry.
He's living on borrowed time, essentially. When he lost his wife everything came crashing down. Having the domain of love felt cruel and merciless, and Valentine was willing to abandon his domain and die slowly. The issue laid in that his wife would never forgive him, and while a part of him wants to piss her in morbid hopes she'd haunt him, he also doesn't want to tarnish the memory of her. So he keeps trudging on, hatefully gritting his teeth as each day goes on and visiting a grave of a woman he wishes he could meet again.
Valentine feels bitterness towards his domain and having to bless others relationships. The only reason he kept his business was because he made it with his wife. He takes his frustrations out on others, at times cursing couples who pass him on the street or mocking their experiences. He hates it. The bitterness eats away at him and leaves nothing behind, but Valentine can't feel anything for others past that hurt and anger. What cruel irony gave him the domain of love when he would feel his love ripped away from him so violently?
He's protective of his family, although he can be cold to them and come off as uncaring lately. Still, if his son ended up in danger he'd burn the world down to save him. Valentine has little care to give to the rules of the world and would break them all to protect his loved ones. He has nothing to lose, after all.
Valentine wallows in guilt. He's spiteful to himself and doesn't take care of his body. During the time his wife was dying he threw himself into work, thinking the extra money could help her be more comfortable. She died while he was at work and he never forgave himself. He thinks he's a waste of air and lives in the past. He's stuck, and he will lash out at any attempt to pull him out. He rather rot in his despair, because at least he can still remember her face. Moving on means saying goodbye, and he won't. He can't.

「FEARS」
█ || Forgetting Sophia ⋯ Surrounded by pictures of his deceased wife and memories he can't shed, Valentine refuses to move on.
█ || Illness ⋯ Anyone he cares for getting sick flashes memories he can't handle. He's terrified of illness taking more loved ones.
█ || The Future ⋯ He doesn't know what is in store for him, and he doesn't want to know.

█ || Cigarettes ⋯ His consumption of them is concerning. He probably goes through a pack every two days.
█ || Almonds ⋯ He's constantly carrying them.
█ || His Hair ⋯ While lately he's lost the will to be vain, he used to be proud of his hair.
█ || Warmth ⋯ He likes being warm.

█ || His Domain ⋯ It's ironic, so much so it's almost funny at this point.
█ || Being Touched ⋯ At his current level of grief, he's repulsed by touch. He doesn't want comfort.
█ || Love ⋯ He's bitter and has no desire to adjust his feelings.

「Powers」
█ || Deep Down ⋯ Can clear a ponies mind to help them realize their love for another. Helps those who are struggling to understand their feelings.
█ || Love Up ⋯ Can boost a ponies feelings of natural love for something, strengthening their connection.
█ || Shut Down ⋯ Can lock someones ability to love for up to 48 hours.
█ || One Last Chance ⋯ Can help a pony remember why they loved something/someone in the first place.
█ || Warm Feeling ⋯ Senses the love in others and can pinpoint who that pony loves if they're within eyesight.
█ || Love Consumption ⋯ Can "consume" someones love. A sparkling mist will leave the ponies mouth and enter his, consuming it. This targets a specific person/thing the pony loves and removes that feeling entirely. Pony must either be willing or mentally weak at the time for this to be successful.

「BIOGRAPHY」
█ || Basket ⋯
His mother was the Alicorn of Fertility and his father was a small Pegasus. His mother was delighted to have twins and during her pregnancy spent most of her time decorating the baby room and planning their future. She had tried for years to have children and now that it finally was happening she threw herself into embracing her motherhood. Her husband was more reserved, notably worried about his frail wife and upcoming birth. If it had been him he would have wanted them to magically be born, but his wife had other plans. She had always wanted to be pregnant.
Unfortunately, his worse fears were confirmed. Birth was too hard on her and she ended up dying as she delivered them. Heartbroken and shattered, he took his twins back home and struggled to give them the love he knew his wife would have provided. After all, they looked just like his late wife, and that alone was hard enough. They weren't her, and he was just a Pegasus. He had no clue how to raise two Alicorns who looked so like the woman he desperately missed.
So he gave them to a local orphanage and vanished into his despair.

█ || Foal ⋯
Seraphim and Valentine struggled as foals. Valentine discovered his domain almost immediately and his sister discovered hers when she touched the stomach of a teacher. Alicorns always struggled to find homes, as orphanages were very aware not everyone had best intentions and were looking for the perfect family.
Seraphim discovering her domain frightened the orphanage immediately, as her domain was one notoriously known to be difficult to be saddled with. Concerned about what to do, they contacted the palaces. Spira offered Seraphim a room in her castle, where she'd be trained properly. The orphanage attempted to separate Valentine and Seraphim, but it became clear neither would let go of the other. To avoid further trauma, both were sent to live at the Spring Palace.
Valentine was trained in how to use his powers, however --- will finish later okay
