tab There are all sorts of animals within Everchange, but here you'll only find those which are domesticated and kept as pets! Keep in mind most pets can't speak, and if they do it'll say so in their lore information! Almost all pets can be acquired through some means in this shop, so if you're interested in one poke about and keep an eye out!

tab Owlgriff's are the size of a large house cat. Clever, impatient, and able to fly, these little guys can be a terror to own if you don't know what you're doing. They love ponies and bond immediately with their families, however they have a strong will and are difficult to train by an inexperienced pet owner. Owlgriff's do not necessarily feel a need to please their owners, but they love food. Scraps of meat, bugs, and fish are the best treats to train them with, as they're incredibly food orientated.

tab Owlgriff's like routine. While they take awhile to adapt to one, Owlgriff's will follow their owners routine religiously. This makes things difficult when their owner switches things up or changes lifestyle, but they'll adapt. Owlgriff's are incredibly attached to their owners and rehoming one is a painful situation, as the feline-like bird will mourn the loss of their original owner much like a death, even if said owner is alive.

tab Just your typical bunny! They love ponies but can be skittish at times. They breed rapidly, so keep them under supervision or else you'll go from two bunnies to ten in no time! Bunnies are fairly independent creatures but they like knowing where their owners are and what they're up to. They can get persistent and pushy when they want something. It's possible to train them, but not all bunnies are interested in learning any tricks! Some, however, are very eager to please their owners.

tab Nom-Noms are clever plants. They're incredibly durable and hard to kill, making some view them as a pest. They are carnivorous, although they aren't dangerous to a pony. They don't tend to bite ponies and due to how small they are their bites don't tend to do much on the off chance they do n** someone. Nom-Noms, however, are able to speak. While they cannot have full conversations, they can maintain basic conversational skills and pick up language by those around them. If they pick up enough they can become manipulative. They'll happily trick other ponies into giving them their food and sweets.

tab Very small birds with beautiful hues that are known for being incredibly vocal, while they're quite playful and fun they aren't generally a pet for a beginner as they can require more than the average amount of attention. If left to their own devices, Budgies can be particularly destructive to their cages and homes, so they need the socialization of other Budgies or toys and enrichment from the ponies that keep them. If trained correctly they can speak hundreds of words and both sing and whistle on command, making them a very popular pet. It's been recommended to most owners that they keep at least two and they'll never face many of the pitfalls of their ownership.

tab Very brilliantly colored fish that travel in schools beneath the waves of Everchange, Angel Fish often school into groups of similar colors and scientists have been following this pattern to ascertain if it has something to do with food or environment and what they can learn. Many freshwater Aquatics keep them for pets and have trained them to perform even, entire schools putting on dazzling displays for plays and performances. They can be kept in freshwater tanks fairly easily and have become much beloved pets in much of Everchange as a result. There have been more shops appearing that sell in depth equipment and even brag about how to breed a specific color, no one is sure exactly how though.

tab Created by Pixies and thus sharing the same fragile nature and weaknesses, Flower Fae can fly and float, seemingly kept aloft by the petals of their particular flower! Their flowers come in three different distinct types and indicates what Pixie community they come from, however the flowers can be of any color no matter their type. Flower Fae are often a bit aloof as a pet and while they can make beautiful and delicate additions to a family, they generally only bond strongly with one pony in their lives.

tab Incredibly intelligent, but also very quiet and shy outside of their own kind, Flower Fae love routine and often simply being left alone to their own devices so that they can flourish. If one is around, all the flowers in the area will bloom brilliantly, or so the saying goes. Unfortunately they are rarely spotted outside of Pixie communities and even then only often around those that keep flowers in abundance. When observed in Pixie communities there are often dozens and dozens floating around and tending to the flowers, laughter all around like the tinkling of little bells.

tab This rare breed of turtle was once heavily hunted for their intricate shells that served as jewelry and art as well as shields thanks to the hefty thickness of them; after many years teetering on the brink of extinction they were saved by heavy restrictions put in place by Aquatic conservationists that had been noting how their decline had spiked. Thanks to these restrictions they began a slow resurgence into their natural habitats along rivers and lakes in Spring.

tab Lotus Turtles name comes from their odd habit of laying their eggs and depositing on the leaves of the lotus plants in fresh water. While normally docile and sweet pets, they become fierce when nesting and even approaching a nesting pair is a dangerous experience. Pairs will mate for life and return to the same areas where they themselves were clutched to lay their own eggs. Unfortunately these turtles do not have many viable eggs, adding to their rarity, with one or two out of every dozen surviving. Those that do are adorned with flowers from the lotus plant that cradled their eggs and stay with their parents until their adolescence before making their own way. Many water dwelling Aquatics keep them as beloved pets, with their long lifespans they are often given to foals to grow alongside.

tab Found in many freshwater streams and lakes, the playful and eye-catching Flying Fish are most popular around in Spring and especially Drizzletown where they can be seen leaping out of the water and zooming around. As long as the moisture levels are up in an area Flying Fish are quite thrilled and zip and zoom around, playing with one another and ponies alike. creating games and sometimes even resorting to trickery for enjoyment. While they aren't as easily trained as some pets, they can still be quite a fun one with the right owner that's willing to put the time and effort into making them pay attention.

tab Not very much larger than a house cat, Wotters are largely freshwater critters, with a rare few saltwater ones being spotted in deeper regions of aquatic territory, these being the only breed that will spend most of their time in the water as opposed to merely swimming in it to hunt. Each Wotter is born with a gem glowing in the center of their chest and their general state of health can be determined by the shine on their individual gems.

tab Frisky and energetic little creatures by nature, Wotters manage to make just about anything into play if they can and the more the merrier! In fact they just adore as many interactions and friends as they can get their little webbed paws on, often being found in large groups consisting of many families. While there is no apparent structure to these groupings, it appears the gems glowing in their chest may have something to do with the hierarchy, though no scientist has been able to ascertain what that may be.

tab The crown jewels and prized possessions of quite a few owners, the abundant Scarab Beetles can be found in almost any warm climate and their metallic shimmering carapaces have won them many admirers. While they aren't a very hands on pet, many collectors enjoy watching how they interact with different terrarium environments and keep careful watch of their colors and sheen. There are even little pop up shows for the beetles to compete and see who has the most stunning and healthy specimen! Given their different appearances and the climates in which they come from, their meals should be of the utmost importance in regards to what species of plant life they can eat.

tab Tiny amphibians with often intricate patterns of designs often found on their back, most of them are quite content to hop around in tanks and ponds all over. One or two frogs can lead to dozens and dozens if an owner isn't careful about gender when they get one, but who doesn't love little wiggly tadpoles!? Generally they can be loyal pets in the right hooves but do not travel well or deal with dry environments with ease, so an owner must pay attention to the moisture in the environment they wish to bring a frog into! As long as they're well taken care of these tiny pets are some of the happiest, if loudest, friends one could have!

tab Bold, confident, and loyal to a fault, Inus are some of the best pets that a pony could ever ask to have on their side. While they are very loving, they are trackers at heart and those sensitive noses can cause a bit of a problem for their owners if they catch a wiff of something interesting and take them on a dizzying race towards it's origins. Their endurance knows no bounds and it makes them fantastic at agility competitions and any sort of play, they'll go for hours and leave everyone and everything in their dust as they do so. Some will even show them on occasion, but these pets like to go go GO!

tab With their intelligence and ability to learn on the fly they need to be constantly challenged and kept in as good a routine as possible, leave an Inu with nothing to do but sulk on it's boredom and it'll be the last time that ever happens!

tab A picture of mellow grace, never seeming to put a paw out of line or push at anything indelicately, Mau treat their owned ponies just like roommates that they love unconditionally. But make no mistake, they have no 'owner', it's a privilege that one be owned by them and one that shouldn't be taken lightly. Mau's bond very closely to their chosen pony and even that pony's family, adapting fairly easily if given enough time and space. Though certain individuals might differ, most Mau even get along well with one another in small groups and families, playing and spending time with one another relaxing.

tab Given their long silky coats, these creatures of habit require quite a bit of upkeep for their fur, between regular brushings and making certain that no hairballs form. Certainly they'll let their chosen know if they believe themselves to be in a state of neglect as well, whether that be their food dishes being half empty or their favorite spot blocked or occupied, they will be very vocal!

tab Small flying snakes who are incredibly gentle in nature, Serapents are normally found near the tops of mountains or in the clouds. While they actually enjoy having a pony companion, Serapents choose their owners. Try and take a Serapent who hasn't selected you home and you'll quickly find them making every attempt to escape. Serapents are warm-blooded and will die if they get too cold. They also primarily eat bugs and small rodents. They shed their skin and molt their feathers twice a year.

tab They attach quickly to their owners (if they selected them). Unfortunately, once their owner dies they very rarely can be rehomed. More often than not, Serapents will either return to the wild or starve to death in their mourning.

tab Wisps are a unique pet in the sense that they're created the same time a Kitsune is born. When a Kitsune gets their orb, a small Wisp will float out of the ball within a week. Wisps don't always stay with the Kitsune they were born from, though! There's no emotional obligation to stick with a Kitsune, regardless of the fact they were born from them.

tab Wisps are finicky creatures. They loved tricks and games and often can only be coaxed as a pet when they've lost a game. Wisps can phase through objects and burn to the touch if they do not like the pony reaching out towards them. They can communicate telepathically! This makes them one of the only pets that can actually hold a conversation with a pony.

tab Doom's are as big as a medium sized dog and are just about as obedient. They ooze a strange odorless liquid that will quickly return to their body when they move. Doom's have minor shadow powers, allowing them to hide in shadows for a short period of time.

Raised exclusively by Ghoulie's for generations, it's only been in the last decade that Ghoulie's have released them to the public. Dooms cannot see in the traditional sense, instead sounds create a visible ripple they can visualize in their brain. This makes them very reliant on their surroundings and the sounds they produce!

Dooms are loyal to their owner and have a hard time bonding with a new owner. Rehoming often does not go well, as a Doom may refuse to obey any commands and become fairly disruptive in their home. Due to this, Dooms who have lost their owners are often sent to a Doom sanctuary, where they're provided acres of free land and supervision.
