And everything I'm signing up for today is a bust... The Forum at the Laurell K. Hamilton site isn't letting me sign in... or post! are there rules?

for some reason they wont let people with free emails, like yahoo, join. I tried to but since my email is a yahoo email they said no. confused it really sucks

Well that's weird. I haven't signed up yet however.
It's probably because they have limited server space and do not want an influx of user names. Alot of times some one will create a free email for a user name and then never use it. It's wasted space and all that.
but that's what i've heard.

Neko_Bast for some reason they wont let people with free emails, like yahoo, join. I tried to but since my email is a yahoo email they said no. confused it really sucks i have a hotmail address. and the site let me sign up and post and log in (shugs)

I have hotmail, I was able to sign up on the forums.
And I was able to read the forums before I signed up, I think.
