How To Add Gifs Into Signature? (A)

I've used forums with BBC code before, but for some reason, Gaia won't take any picture I place into it; is there a specific way you have to put it in on this site? : >

Hmmm it should work like other sites as far as I know. Just make sure to use the [img] [/img] tags without spaces. Be sure that you've got a link that ends in .png, .jpg, etc.
And make sure that it's a direct link to that image, not an image on a page.
For example, with imgr, you can't use the image link: https://imgur.com/6TVrBcM
It has to be the direct link: https://i.imgur.com/6TVrBcM.png


Noowwww, with gifs, I think that's the root of the problem. Most of the gifs come from giphy, but their basic link doesn't give you a clean image, it sends you to a page that links to giphy, like this: https://media.giphy.com/media/k0CCW4PIPifIY/giphy.gif
If you click that link, you see it has a link to visit giphy on the page... it's not just the image


So then @ .@ I right click and copy the image link from that page to get the gif by itself:
https://i.giphy.com/media/k0CCW4PIPifIY/giphy.webp
(If you click that link, you'll see it's just the image)

And thaaat link will work fine in image tags

(I also resized the gif to 200x200 within the image tag because it's huge. c; And also a bit squished now because it's not proportionate. XD;; )

Most gifs from other places work just fine without all that extra work to it. XD; Anyway, if you're still having trouble, maybe link us to a gif you're trying to use, and we'll see if we can narrow down the issue. c:
Also XD maybe someone knows how to work giphy better than I do and I can learn some new things that'll get me a direct link in less steps.
