Cats and Halloween go together just like Witches and Black Cats go together. They are very Lucky indeed.
smile My Mom has had two and even I had a Black Cat. At the first convention that I went to Youmacon 2009 it was near my Halloween Birthday and that made my birthday extra special because I got to Cosplay for the first time for my birthday. Before that it was only dressing up in Halloween Costumes.
Yes many people in America think that it's unlucky if a Black Cat crossed their path. Cat's are considered to be the Witches "Familiar". In other words the Witches Black Cat watches over and protects the Witch from harm. This comes from the TV series Charmed. Go back to the Salem Witch Trials and you would find out that many a witch needed protection from the Community.
