The Storm Village has a series of buildings within one of it's larger in-mountain caverns that is of proper size to house several buildings in the walls themselves. Natural walkways exist between each of them as well, connecting each area to another in a way that creates natural flow. Because of it's naturally serene, while perfectly archaic, asthetic these buildings were chosen to be the temples in the second year of Arashigakure's existence. Here is where meditations and all manner of religious gatherings are usually held, and though there is a strict tolerance policy certain practices remain on the side of taboo.

Placing his hand on his chin now as the officers likely complied. "Something significant enough to garner light attention and provide a territorial advantage. That should do..." A deep inhale and Toso's cheeks expanded the signifying trait that something was to come not unlike hand signs for the moment of melding the chakra necessary ink swished in his mouth. He looked more a frog than a squid. Then with his head titled back like a fountain a rain of ink began to cloak the outside of the cave, the cave itself, and the vicinity a coat of black. The sound of what may be rain to pique curiosity of guards that may or may not have been inside the entrance. He'd put an end to the fountain sooner rather than later in case their response would be quicker than anticipated and with his four tentacles now out and accounted for with a shimmy of these limbs he sunk beneath the now inky ocean he had made. In wait patiently, with the other two officers keeping themselves hidden, a confidence that nothing would compromise this plan settled itself in Toso and if none were to come they would make their stealthy advance soon.

Not wanting to get caught, Yuno had waited several minutes before heading to the target location. As such she arrived even later more likely than not thanks to being slower than her adult counterparts. As such she did not arrive before Toso had finished talking and setting up his little trap. So when she did arrive she found a cave with a strange looking blackness to the entrance. She eyed it from a distance, unsure what to make of it. Was it the work of the squidman? She didn't see either of the two bumbling policemen either. Maybe they'd already headed inside. Should she go on in then? Maybe, but the strangeness of the entrance bothered her. It could have been a trap, or some other bizarre facet of the infamous bloop-nin. That worried her deeply. Yuno stood paralyzed in thought for a minute or two before she started looking around for something to test the entrance with. It didn't take long for her to find a small chunk of rock which was then hurled onto the inky floor of the cave entrance. Yuno herself was prepared to dive into a nearby crevice should anything scary happen as a result.

Out of earshot In a stereotypical thug like accent a single man wearing a suit walking bow-legged was making his way to the entrance. But rather than delve too far ahead after seeing what seemed to be a speck whilst he himself was under the cover of darkness his eye's closed then opened with a display of sensory prowess using ones minds eye there he saw Yuno...he paused for a moment. Then smirked. "I gotza tell boss. A heap o cash just sittin arrvin on our doorstep."
Meanwhile outside. Via radio communication. "Tosokurui-saisho. Activity." Peering his head outside of the ink puddle Toso would look at the cave entrance at their potential target...what happened wasn't short of a spit take in its most extreme form. Only instead of coffee it was ink enough to rival his earlier technique. Then a cold bead of sweat formed on his forehead. "Tosokurui-saisho is something wrong." "Is something wrong? BlOOP. That's one of the Arashikage's daughter. Of course there's something wrong get her out of there this instant! Bloop!" While his face stayed the same his volume implied a panic whilst desperately still trying to be quiet.
Then like something from a horror movie. From the depths of earth and from the side of the cavern several thug like individuals came out. Yuno would feel a hand grab her leg and in a low pitched voiced a face that only a mother could love spoke up. "Dintcha mama tell ya not ta go wandering by yerself little lady. There might be strangers." There were thirteen in total. Clear cut underlings with perhaps one or two who may have been competent. As oppose to being the ambushers they had become ambushee's.
"TTTT..TAICHOU ORDERS!" The gravity of Yuno's heritage causing one of the officers to lose their cool over the radio. Emerging from the shadows of ink Toso would appear. Cheeks at this point flared before a definitive spit of what was in his mouth shot out like a bullet. A needle of ink shooting through the head of man grabbing Yuno's leg instantly killing him. "Secure the kage's progeny! Through whatever means necessary!" The two officers then descended. A butterfly knife in hand in a clean motion and spurting of blood blood from necks, twelve men became ten. In a display of slicing wind ten became seven as the other officer arrived rattled but not backing with ragged breathing. Likely this would be Yuno's first exposure to death in ********, GET THE GIRL! YOUR DEAD ANYWAY IF THE BOSS FINDS OUT SHE GOT AWAY!" A cry from a one of the more seasoned thugs who was keeping the butterfly knife wielding officer at bay. Meanwhile the other officer to had his hand full with the second more seasoned thug. Four of the remaining scooped up the wet earth beneath them in a manner that was quicker than any handsign all looked at Yuno. These earthen muddy projectiles were all slung heading towards her providing nary a window to avoid one let alone four. The last of the seven was nowhere in sight. Seeing what would be heading towards Yuno, Toso instinctively did what he had to. Enemy Uses: Kajuu No Doro [ Mud Weights ] x 4
Traveling through the ink in a flash, the advantage of the turf he had made Toso's four tentacles craned out silver between each of them as though a webbing. Spreading them he essentially made a dome of sorts that he carried with his strength alone. A pale knight with a silver cape that splayed to protect a fair maiden in a metaphoric sense. The mud of all four attacks layering on top of it He didn't have time for intricacies. "MOVE LADY YUNO!" Four tons of weight began to coalesce on his tentacles now extending to his back. Toso was readying his counter offensive slowly but surely pulling Modoru Gumo from his coat in a radiant glowing fashion,the weight was trying him.
Toso focusing on drawing his weapon however, all tentacles occupied, and without having prepared his usual defense...from beneath the earth a sinister smirk began to rise behind him. One in which only Yuno would see if she turned around. The missing seventh thug waiting for his chance to strike had found it. A rocky javelin in hand was right in the ready to lunge forward to skewer the squid man through his back.

While Yuno had prepared herself for something dicey, even something scary, to occur when she threw the rock she was not prepared for something downright terrifying. Seeing Toso's head emerge from the ink and then spew more ink caused her body to become paralyzed with fear. When she tried to enact her plan of jumping into the nearby crevasse she simply fell flat on her a**. While she was sitting there trying to overcome her fear a hand suddenly grabbed her leg as a head emerged from the ground and spoke to her. The condescension of his words was like a shot of adrenaline to the spoiled brat. Nobody told her where she could or couldn't go. Especially not some a*****e with bad pronunciation!
However before she could act Toso was on the move. Like some kind of extradimensional horror he spat something faster than Yuno could see. The end result was that the man grabbing her leg died, and the blood spatter got on her stockings. After the dust had settled she could see the hole in his head. Blood pooled in the wound before spilling out and she was fascinated with it. The academy had exposed them to cadavers but seeing the real thing in person was different. Her eyes felt fixated on the wound as she wished she had been the one to do it. Yuno was... not a very good child at her core and this fascination with death was one facet of that. She was slow to move from the ground, the dead man's hand still gripped her leg albeit with less force than before. After finally finding the presence of mind to do something she pried it loose before she moved to stand.
However as she stood earthen attacks were launched her way by several of the thugs. That was when Toso seemingly teleported across the battlefield to intercept the attacks. The command to move spurred her on, she drew her sword from the umbrella upon her back and turned to face the bloop-nin in all his terrifying glory. In other circumstances it might have made her less afraid to see his tentacles covered in hardening Earth, but this was a fight that transcended that. She needed to be brave now. So even as her body shook with fear she eyed the man threatening her fellow ninja. The training she performed under Kenshin kicked in as her body crouched low into the stance of a duelist. A deep breath preceded a speedy forward lunge. Yuno looked to deliver two quick strikes to the man threatening Toso. One to the neck and one to his center of mass. [Dual Pierce: C-rank strength, B-rank speed]

Rapier now coated with crimson liquid Yuno blinked as she tried to relocate her foe. He'd escaped with a high speed movement and thrown off her strike. Soon her pink and brown irises located the man as he made his position known by speaking. His rude manner of speech irritated her greatly, though such irritation was partially quelled by the lurid way he seemed to be gazing at her body. A shiver ran down her spine at the thought of his threat. It was a real danger for Kunoichi, one which death seemed preferable to. However his next threat helped to center her thoughts as it distracted her from the threat sexual violence. Okay. okay, okay, just deflect it. Easy right? As the spear came inward she raised her rapier up as if to deflect it when she lost her nerve. Instead of deflecting the incoming spear chakra surged to her feet as she leaped to the side. [C-rank dodge] However as the saying went, out of the frying pan and into the fire. The earth opened up into a sinking pit of loose dirt and she had precious little time to escape. Her thoughts raced as she searched for a way out. This was when she remembered the name of a technique discussed in class that they never had to actually learn. It worked much the like the way she had used chakra to dodge the spear. Concentrating chakra to her legs she prepared herself to try it. Okay Shunshin don't fail me. The world seemed to slip away for a moment as she moved fast as lightning out from the sinking pit and to the safety of solid ground. [Shunshin no jutsu]. "Hahahaha it worked sweet." From there Yuno was quick to deliver a counter attack of her own after sheathing her rapier back into the shaft of her umbrella. As she she formed a simple hand sign her cheeks swelled with water. It was then that a barrage of water pellets was unleashed from her mouth. Using such a basic attack as Fish Spit was probably a poor move given that she knew his earth nature trumped her water nature but she was hesitant to close the distance and engage with her rapier since he could literally take the ground out from under her. Her only hope at this point was that Bloop-nin was actually the monster her mother described him as. If he was then he'd make short work of the remaining thugs.

But it had become one of the many necessities in his career. Suffice to say he would have still preferred to capture their majority alive for interrogation. It was not as though he did not hear his threats earlier made towards the young girl. Bad enough as it was to make such a claim for a girl underage was inexcusable.

"I don't think you need me telling you to return to the village immediately bloop. Officer Tsuiseki and Tsurai will meet with you at the nearby temple. You are to follow them until you've safely arrived. Understood?" It was certainly a father like scolding. Despite Yuno's contributions she was in all sense of the word a liability.

He could only believe he deserved this for letting his guard down. Seeing as her attack was easily blocked by an earthen shield Yuno had to quickly try and formulate a new plan of attack. She was outmatched on the elemental wheel and engaging with her rapier was going to be tricky. This fight was far more than she had expected. Indeed the idea of normal people peddling drugs who'd be easy to take out was all that had crossed her mind, not high caliber Shinobi. However before she could complete her thoughts the earthen wall crumbled to reveal that a writhing tentacle had killed the man. She nearly screamed at the sight of it. Heart pounding in her chest from terror Yuno stood glued to the spot where she stood.
When Toso looked at her with that face of pure dread she was ready to bolt but her legs wouldn't move. In reply all she could manage was the smallest of affirmative nods. She would leave the area with the two officers and get away from the squidman. Though before she could move again her senior ninja was seemingly taken out by a wave of Earth that sent him into the air. When he landed all she could see was a heap of defeated Toso. That was when their actual leader made himself known. He was flashier than the other thugs but no less ugly in her opinion. The scorn she felt for him when he mentioned coming with "uncle Doku" helped her to gain her wits back. Backing up slowly she thumb a couple of shuriken hidden in her dress. The clone was faster though and Yuno had to be quick about it in response.
The clone seemingly grabbed her only for a puff of smoke to envelope them both. When it cleared Yuno was gone, instead replaced with the body of one of the mooks from earlier. [Replacement] The actual girl was running down the path towards the temple. For good measure in making distance she added in a shunshin to cover more ground. She could still help so long as she got away. She could run straight to the hospital and get some medic nin. [If the clone fails to stop her this'll be an exit post]

Yuno and them a half mile away in both what could be considered height and distance. The entire ground shook for the moment, As though an earthquake like jutsu was used, and just barely visible over the ridge Two gigantic tentacles and the mantle of squid appeared. In the air what appeared to have been conjured stalagmites flying through the sky like bundles of twigs scattered to the wind..But that wasn't all that flew....the faint silhouettes of a man in yellow two crumbling to dust. The third a speck that flew through the air and came crashing down almost too conveniently a few feet away from the three. He was a crumpled mess teeth lost, shades broken, he showed himself to be so strong earlier. But it seemed it truly was only a lucky shot.
tab Then in an inky mist like appearance Toso emerged. If one were to look over the ridge the giant squid gone. Toso was still covered in the silver ink but it then began to slide off as he shook it off the four tentacles and himself as though he had just come out of the pool. There wasn't so much as a scratch on the man contrary to the significant blow the squid had received earlier. Talking to himself he'd look up to see that the entourage was still there. He'd smile somewhat, it definitely felt out of place. "Ah, just thought I should hurry things up. bloop. More so, I didn't want to chance the possibility of losing madame Yuno again. Officer you and your partner are to report to the hospital upon arrival. Madame Yuno. He paused. You are to join me in reporting to the office of Officer Kosei. Same." Rather than ending this sentence in bloop. It ended in shark. An indicator to those who knew him well he was upset. But this did not show in voice or face as his tentacles withdrew themselves. He was in all manners of speaking exhausted. But he would not display this weakness. He would have others gather the bodies and investigate the cave, though he was quite certain as far as thugs went they were extinguished. ~exit~

Upon arriving close to the temple structure Yuno was acquainted with the two officers whom were supposed to assist the bloop-nin. They were both pretty injured but one was obviously worse off than the other. One began to speak to her but was quickly interrupted by the ground quaking beneath their feet. Suddenly the appearance of a monstrously sized squid cleared just over the horizon. It freaked Yuno out enough that she was left speechless, her eyes transfixed upon the mighty beast. At that moment she felt absolutely pathetic. Her skills were near meaningless, her power nothing to speak of.
When the dust settled and it was all over the crumbled form of the head honcho landed near her feat and the group was soon joined by a smiling Toso. For a man who had seemingly almost died twice a smile was out of place. It was unnerving even. When he bade her to follow him to the office all she could manage was a quiet nod. The girl was currently terrified of the man and what he could do to her. [Exit 4 real this time]

Even with the new determination to learn fuuinjutsu, Soon-ae still felt uneasy. She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but she was sure that the uneasy feeling was being caused by something internally. She opted to meditate, but wanted to do so in solitude this time. She knew exactly where'd she'd go. As she stepped into The Monsoon Temples, she took a moment to take it all in. "So pretty..." She delved deeper into the caves. The buildings were all so beautifully designed and well built for being as old as they were. She continued to go deeper. It was relatively quiet here, save a few conversations or prayers she heard as she walked. Soon-ae got deep enough to hear a flow of running water. She followed the sound until it lead her to a small pool with a waterfall. "There. That's what I need..." She took a deep breath and smiled. After undressing, Soon-ae walked across the water and sat underneath the waterfall. As the cool water flowed over her skin, she took a deep breath and calmed her mind. The water that hit her had a certain flow to it; something made the water feel more like the hands of a very warm and kind person. She let those hands caress and soothe her, eventually matching her flow of chakra to the flow of the water. She let her thoughts go and soon was in complete meditation. "HEY! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!" Startled by the call, Soon-ae opened her eyes, and was surprised to see herself standing in the water directly in front of her. "W-what? How is this possible?" The Soon-ae that stood before her seemed very upset. "Why are you here sitting in some dumb waterfall, when you could be out there with me drinking and having a great time?" She did not want to answer the question. "Um hello? IS ANYBODY IN THERE?!" Soon-ae ignored her. "What's the matter? Cat got your tongue?" Soon-ae stayed strong. "Am I annoying you yet? Cuz' I know what you're thinking. YOU'RE THINKING I NEED A DRINK!" With a sigh, Soon-ae soon realized the only way to deal with her was to respond. "I don't drink any more." The fake Soon-ae laughed. "That's the biggest load of crap I've ever heard! You and I both know you can't live without drinking! Unless... You want to remember your..." "SHUT YOUR MOUTH!" The fake Soon-ae just continued to laugh. Soon-ae was becoming riled. She needed to calm down. She took a moment to chill. After a deep breath, she decided she would address the fake one with a question of her own. "Tell me, what has drinking ever done for us?" The fake Soon-ae slowly stopped laughing. She became very serious. "Your past is my past too... Why don't you see? It was never about the drinking..." The fake Soon-ae began to cry. "You know the real reason why we drink, so why would you ask a question like that? We drink to live Soon-ae. Plain and simple. The things we've done, the things that have been done to us... Why don't you see?" The tears continued to fall. "We're broken Soon-ae... And we have no one to blame but her." Soon-ae's thoughts went to Mi-Ri. Such a despicable woman. "We drink not to run away Soon-ae... We drink to move forward." With that, Soon-ae awoke from her trance. With a sigh, she left the waterfall and dressed. Before heading home, she turned and looked back. "We drink to move forward huh?" Soon-ae smirked. "I guess it can't be helped. Maybe just one drink then..."
Sitting in silent meditation, Belamos waged a fierce internal battle. He had unshackled the Yonbi from his inner prison and had been waging a fierce war against it for hours on end. He had quickly learned reasoning with Son Goku was out of the question- he had to beat the monster in submission. Now, going into their third hour, signs were beginning to outwardly show. Belamos had managed to steal away a good chunk of its chakra but it, in turn, and managed to land a few good hits on him.
"I'm not done yet"
He spoke to the Monkey before vanishing in a blindingly bright flash of light. When he reappeared he was high overhead, holding aloft a 300-foot wide ball of fire. With a mighty roar, he drove the Sun down atop the beast which took the full force of the blow. The Soul of Helios crushed and burned Son, further injuring him and allowing Belamos to steal away more chakra.
With the monster beaten and battered, Belamos placed a strict holding seal on it. Son Goku would find himself unable to move and at the mercy of Belamos "Enough of this- I have defeated you. But this doesn't mean it must remain like this! Join with me, Son, and let us lay waste and pillage the lands of our enemies from now until our last. Let us destroy and burn and slaughter those in our way!" At this, he seemed to finally get the Beast's attention who, slowly, extended on paw to him. When they finally touched a wave of understanding flooded him. He knew the beasts past, his previous owners and...a whole lot of new skills.
