Kaito was so pleasantly surprised to hear Doctor Yamanaka was convinced that he gasped, instinctively looking to Avalanche with amazement. It then became obvious she was reading their minds and he tried not to flinch or think weird thoughts. He grabbed the scroll she wrote in, pocketing it carefully. "Thank you, Doc. I hope you know how much this means to me."
He grinned at Avalanche, then gave a two-finger salute goodbye to the good doctor before turning on his heels to leave the office. As he bounced outside in his infinite excitement, he belatedly realized they hadn't come up with a plan of action yet. "Oh," he said as he turned around at the bottom of the steps to look at Avalanche if they'd come out of the building to follow him. "So, how should we go about this? Do we go to Captain Kosei? Are we going to try and reach out to someone higher, like Lord Arashikage? Or... do you think we should try and catch some corrupt cops in the act?"

Avalanche gave a sly smile and a nod when Kaito looked their way. As they left and followed their partner, Kaito spoke up about the plan going forward. Their arms folded as they decided to analyze the facts in front of them. "While Kenshin is a beacon of justice, he has open contempt for the fact that we are trying to solve the dilemmas of the APD before he can. However, to go above him and to use the Arashikage would prove at our disadvantage, since Kenshin still ultimately holds jurisdiction of all APD affairs." Their mind was deep in thought as they considered all of the details involved in this plan. "To go fishing for bad cops doesn't sound like an awful idea, but we don't want to target the wrong cop. No, we need an in. Someone on the inside who would be inspired by our cause and do their part to contribute. The only problem is finding one actually decent officer amiss the entirety of its corruption." Avalanche unfortunately did not have any contacts with the APD aside from Kaito, and his relation to it was incredibly fickle as it stood. Still, there had to be one cop on the force who would help them pursue the path of righteousness.

__ Kojiro very suddenly and shortly gave a general location to search for Celene before he and Kenshin took off to the search. Ada looked back to Selina and the two she was diligently working to aid. Then off in the direction of the estranged warehouse they came from before here. She wondered why more than anything else but also felt like the answer was probably as plain as it seemed. Antioch was clearly obsessed with Kenshin, and the rest of them were second place prizes or lower in his maniacal ill will. "Is something else troubling you, miss Kyuri?" X interjected upon noticing the deep but aimless thought that was consuming her expression. Ada snapped back to reality and shook her head. "No, it's nothing. I just hoped there was some meaning or worth to this senseless tragedy. X, despite what I've taught you, please remember that sometimes things are actually as basic and simple as they appear. Help me also keep that in mind too..." X would nod then turn to follow the others. "Acknowledged, miss Kyuri." His nod helped her put the matter aside for the time being. If Antioch hadn't actually died back there then she'd simply have to prepare for him likely antagonizing Kenshin and them all again. However, she quietly hoped in her heart that he was gone for good. Dead or alive, she hoped that he would simply never return to inflict such torture. Ada couldn't imagine herself being able to calm if such transgressions were to occur again. She followed X for a short ways until they both heard confirmation from the Captain and Lieutenant that Celene had already been located. Ada sighed heavily with relief and rushed back over to Selina. "Your sister is safe, Selina. Kenshin and lieutenant Kojiro were decisive with the search, it seems. I'm very glad for you, and sorry that you've had to endure all of this too." They were all victims, in some way or another. Ada had long since shed her mentality of duty superceding the value of her comrades' and subordinates' lives. That war-like excuse was almost completely lost to her and she'd very much come to a point where such things were exactly contradictive to that mentality. These victories were the most precious of all, and she was truly glad for her friend that Selina's family was safe. From what she could tell, Vala and Yarugi's progress was also going along smoothly and they seem to remain stable throughout the physical healing process.
X lingered as far as he'd walked toward the temples when he received a high-priority distress signal from at Azayaka. The audio file was interpreted internally, much like a telepathic link, but it was all too clear to him. One of the scientists managed to trigger the alert before what sounded like a painful end to the transmission. "Miss Kyuri! Azayaka's staff and projects are in danger!" Without hesitation X activated his Super Chakra Thrusters in his feet and took off into the a high arc through the sky. It wasn't really flying as much as a really really high jump, but it would carry him most of the way before he reactivated the mechanism to effectively continue jumping to his destination in the market district. Ada hadn't seen X so worked up before, but the news was as startling as the danger imposed on her precious students. "Is there no end to this madness?" Ada softly cried under her breath as she stood up from Selina and swiftly stepped away. She looked to the young cadet that was clearly busy analyzing the situation with as much doubt and confusion as she felt about the whole Antioch case. "Cadet, please either assist Selina and the other medical ninja in transporting the injured or accompany me. I could use the backup if you feel you are up to the task." He may have only been a genin and a novice officer at that, but he performed admirably today and she'd credit him for the level of work she believed he could probably achieve. Looking back to Selina once more, she said, "Thank you again for taking care of Vala and Yarugi, Selina. I'm in your debt." Ada nodded then continued her hasty march toward her advanced chakratech research and development facilities. If Zeshin followed, she'd help him keep pace with her magnetism, or she would simply move at her full speed alone otherwise.

While in his own thoughts, he tended to ignore the exchange between those still in the room. Even the captain had left without any orders or words, and that was something that Zeshin had been completely fine with. He didn't know what actions to take. He just studied things around him. However, the sudden burst from the mechanical construction that dashed off into the air caused Ada to direct words towards him. He didn't register much of what she said, but he heard 'backup' and he moved without thinking. He pushed off the ground and dashed to follow from behind. He didn't know where they were going, but if she asked for backup, he couldn't refuse. It didn't matter of his skill level when that word was used.
โฑโฐโฑOnce Celene was secured, Kenshin listened to Ada's report. The ending of this whirlwind of psychopathy felt unceremonious to say the least. "I'm going to meet with forensics at CORE." Kenshin spoke plainly before he bowed and quickly walked out of the area. There were many details regarding the circumstances of Antioch's death that required ironing out.

Getsuruito must be in its rapier form to use this ability and 5 chakra can be spent upon activation of this technique to transform it as such. The Righteous Sword of the Sentinel technique has a 10 post duration before necessitating re-activation and costs an E-Rank amount of chakra. Smiting Blade of the Night Watch [ Naitล Otchi no Sumittinguburฤdo ] | Rank X | Bukijutsu [ Lightning ] | Spiritual When this technique is activated it crackles violently with night blue lightning for the entire duration. The electricity from the blade also forms bolts of lightning over the body of the user and appears to supercharge them. Whenever the blade is swung or thrust over the duration the user can fire a concentrated blast of ten bolts of lightning to accompany the strike equal to the rank applied but for only half the cost to initiate the technique. Hatake, Raiu, and Sage enhanced lightning can pass through the blade and apply to these lightning bolts. The bolts cause a thunderously deafening sonic boom and can inflict tier 2 burns upon direct contact with the lightning. Additionally, these lightning bolts can be freely applied to all complex bukijutsu for no action cost to smite enemies. The only action cost is when the technique is activated and all subsidiary abilities of the technique do not consume actions and only chakra. This ability can be used in both forms of Getsuruito.
Draconic Sabre of Moon Sundering [ Getsu Sandaringu no Dorakonikku Seibฤ ] | Rank X | Bukijutsu [ Lightning ] | Complex This is the original ability of the ancient Getsuruito blade and thus requires the original katana form. 5 chakra can be spent to transform the blade to its original form upon activation of this technique. Crackling and thunderous dark blue lightning can be applied to the katana's edge at any rank and the same lightning can form a dragon head formed from electricity over the body of the user for 10 posts. This allows all spiritual techniques the sword comes into contact with to be slashed through and even cut in half at the same rank despite the complex nature of the technique. For half of the original cost to activate the technique a same-rank spiritual electrical energy slash can be sent out from the slash of the blade. This same cost can be applied to any complex bukijutsu to achieve the same effect. The original 10 post activation of this ability consumes an action but all subsidiary abilities do not.

Selina took a sigh of relief when Ada assured her that Celene was safe. She was relieved that part of the prophecy was negated. Still, with the mania of the world as it was, there was no doubt that this was toward the path which led to the worst possible future. Selina rose as she took Yaguri on one shoulder and Vala on another. Her medical work repaired their bodies, and although they were still unconscious and out of chakra, they were both alive. When the young charge was sent to work with her, Selina looked at the boy and smiled softly. "I don't know your name, but you can go off if you would like. I imagine there are others who could use the services of a brave APD officer such as yourself." Selina said, redistributing the weight on her shoulders to show that she can comfortably carry the two unconscious jonin. "I am stronger than I look, and I'm just going to take them to the hospital anyway. With all of the theatrics of that villain, there's no way to be sure if there's anything else wrong with them. That's why I would like to assure that they get proper aid." With that, Selina disappeared in a puff of flower petals.

Come today.โโ Musica read aloud, holding the paper with both hands in front of her. โโRecommended group size, two or moreโฆโ Hmmm.โ The girl whipped her head around, looking at the people that were walking by. Hime was sitting on a bench near the mission board as she always had at the square, fumbling with her glasses while her two animal companions would remain by her side. Chihoon laid lazily on the bench beside her while Jing-oo remained sitting at attention on the ground below. Her mane would trail behind her until it just barely touched the ground behind her. The bakeneko's tail flickered every now and again while the Nekonokami sibling twiddled with her fingers. "What are you even fretting this over for?" The feline would ask, not bothering to lift his head while rolling onto the other side of the youngest sibling. A row of food carts would stand before them, Hime's hand trembling while they rested in her lap and placed them back onto her troubled looking face. "Just go up and buy your food." Jing-oo remained silent while her master's hand fell off in distant thought, placed onto her white mane for comfort. She gave a huff while her tail swung left and right every now and again. "If you're unable, I can see about getting you something to eat, Master." Before Hime could respond, Chihoon offered his own sort of opinion towards the matter. His mask shot to face the canine's while the spotted tail behind him flicked towards her. The motion was met with an equal sort of guttural growl.
"She's old enough to serve the village as a Genin. Surely she's capable enough of fetching food for the three of us?""Watch your tongue when speaking about her, feline. Lest you find yourself declawed.""Or you fulfill the oath you took when traveling with us and help your owner grow, pup." The two continued to bicker back and forth until Hime finally would speak up for herself. "H-He's right." she said, furrowing her brows. "I should tr-try and do something for myself." The girl stood up on her feet and faced the cart with a look of determination on her face. "It's time I did something for myself for a change!" The green haired girl made preparations to go and get a meal from the cart across from her...and then just awkwardly shuffled in place. After about three or four seconds had passed, Chihoon raised his head. "I'd prefer it if you'd start sometime before nightfall."
It was then that a shout would sound off from nearby. Hime jumped into the air from the sound of a woman's voice, letting out a noise that was akin to a cat being given a bath. As she came back down to the ground, her eyes shot towards the source of the shouting: a white haired woman seeking a partner for a mission. Her ears rose in interest while thinking back on Chihoon's words. Could this be the kind of opportunity for her that she'd be looking for? Her trembling legs were willed forward, and Hime hurried up towards the woman as her companions watched. "Ah-I'll do it...If you ha-haven't found anybody else yet?..."

Musica looked around, her white hair flipping around as she tried to see if anyone was interested. Instead people who walked by seemed to give her even more space than they had before. Was it something I said?โ She murmured, her eyes closing as the girl sighed. It was looking as if no-one was gonna be brave enough to tackle this challenge with her. The kunoichi shrugged it off and got ready to leave on her own, but that was when she was stopped by a quiet youth. Blue hair, glasses, and really cute, the girl spoke to Musica rather timidly.
The white haired girlโs eyes went wide as her mouth spread into a beaming grin. โYeah! Of course!!โ Musica paused. โI mean, I havenโt found anyone yet! I meant โof course you can come along!โโ Musica laughed embarrassedly as she rubbed the back of her head. โMy nameโs Musica, nice to meet you!โ

Hime felt a tad relieved to see that the woman seeking a partner for a mission was at least enthusiastic about her inclusion. Her bespectacled head had been lifted with thoughts of her seeking out somebody far more capable than some run of the mill cat girl searching for her siblings than an actual member of the village. And if it was just a mission from the board here, it couldn't possibly be too difficult, could it? "I-It's nice to meet you, Musica." she managed to speak up, still reeling in from the shout mere seconds ago. Her ears among the tufts of hair would twitch every now and again as the kunoichi of Arashi would shift her weight onto her right hip. "Ah-I-I'm Hime, a new ninja in the village. I was just taking a break from trying to f-find my brothers." The girl brought two fingers to her mouth and blew a sharp whistling sound to summon both of her companions. Two animals would jump from their positions and come pacing over towards her.
The first of the two was a white and brown speckled cat with a sly looking mask covering his face. On his underbelly would rest a sea of crimson fur. A small army of ember colored particles came from it as hi leg came to idly scratch away an itch that had surfaced there. The second of the two was a white maned canine of some kind whose own mask would appear quite similar in nature to the cat's, although it was more fearsome in nature. She bore a good amount of scars across her body but wouldn't appear to be wounded as bad as one may think. She came to a rest beside Hime while her tail stood on end, unmoving in its advances.
At their appearance, Hime smiled a bit while motioning to each. "Th-These are my friends. Ah-Chihoon and Jing-oo. We all work together." she said, putting emphasis on the latter part of the sentence while the two would wince at the stinging accusation that had been thrown their way. Both animals replied in kind, offering a nod towards Musica. "Nice to meet you." Jing-oo said, her words kept short and in a gruff tone of voice. Chihoon, on the other hand, took the time to flaunt up this woman he was introduced to. "Pleased to meet you~ The mission wouldn't be eating together, would it? Not that it would disappoint me if it wasn't a chance to get to know a lovely lady~" Hime shot Musica a look that could just start screaming apologies but settled for mumbling to herself and pushing her glasses back to the bridge of her nose. Jing-oo huffed in annoyance. "Men."
As the students neared the building Shinji had designated for them to find, they would notice a crowd of people outside, and a line being formed at the door. Some of the citizens there were visibly agitated, some looked nervous, and some looked stricken with grief. One of the double-doors was propped open with a wooden plank, and the other only swung open as people left one-by-one. There was a young woman standing outside with a clipboard in her hand. She was frantically going around from one person to the next, having hurried conversations and jotting down whatever information she was getting from them. She seemed to be exhausted, but maintained her vigorous pace regardless.
She noticed the group of students arrive from the corner of her eye, then speed walked towards them to intercept their path. "You must be the kids Shinji was sending to help us. The thought that it might be a bad sign that she felt such pride over something so trivial never even occurred to her. After saying her greetings to her fellow students, she followed them to the young girl darting about to help others. She took an immediate liking to the girl upon seeing how hard she was working all by her lonesome. Before Alishia had a chance to begin sharing the good word of Zelel, she found a clipboard in her hand as she was being instructed to go and discover the concerns of the many citizens present. If this truly was the extent of their mission, then she was sure she wouldn't have too much trouble. Though, when she looked at one of her companions it appeared that perhaps not all of them would have as easy a time with this.

In addition, dojutsu users also suffer blindness tiered based on the body rank of the user; E-C Rank: Tier 1, B-A Rank: Tier 2 and S-S+ Rank: Tier 3. The woman gave them a quick rundown of their objective, and darted off to complete more of her own work. "Well... I guess we'd better get to it. I'm going to head down that way first. Holler if you guys need anything." The boy flashed his teammates a smile, then headed off a few yards around the edge of the crowd. It was loud and chaotic here, but Sugichi did his best to tone it out as he approached somebody nearby. "Hello, I'm here to get some information from folks. I was wondering if I might be able to ask you about what brings you out today."

In addition, should they unlock the Tenseigan, they may have 50% less reserves to maintain it than other clan members and may also activate the Tenseigan without the use of a hand seal, chakra cost, or activation. โฑโฐโฑ Physical Prowess | The Hyuuga gains a [2] point increase in any stat after mastering stage 3 of the gentle fist and another [2] points after mastering stage 6 for a total of [4] rather than [2]. In addition, the Hyuuga gains [3] custom slots to be used exclusively for the gentle fist style and [1] taijutsu style slot. โฑโฐโฑ Born in Shadow | All Imitation techniques gain [1] additional use before they are weakened. Additionally, the user's clan techniques are considered one rank higher when attempting to break free. โฑโฐโฑ Tactical Genius | By spending at least one full post studying their opponent the user gains one extra activation against that specific target, to be used only on a Nara Imitation technique against them. In order to properly study a target one must not take any offensive actions against them and should describe in detail things like the opponents fighting style, as well as formulating a plan against them.
The Horned One known as "LB", didn't quite understand the native tongue which the Kappa spoke in, much to Zenmaru's surprise. "LB." He called out, pointing to the beast child, and then pointing to himself. "Zenmaru." The Kappa nodded, patting the beast child's tail again. He turned to the redheaded female, "Zeelelel." He frowned, confused, still trying to pick up that strange word the girl liked saying all of the time. Perhaps it was her name?
Following the group to the Housing District, they were met with a woman who explained why they were here. The group was tasked with gathering the concerns of the locals here, as well as their names. Her Kappa speech was received well, despite the rough delivery when she directed her attention towards Zenmaru. The Kappa trilled with delight and spoke back in human speech, "Oh-kay." He gave a 'thumbs up' that some humans like to do, but with three of his webbed fingers instead. "Zenmaru speak human. Not as good as Kappa." Zenmaru nodded, turning towards the crowd of people. Another trill was brought out from the curious Kappa. He simply walked into the bustling population of locals, waving his hands high. "Zenmaru, help! Problem? Zenmaru, help! Despite his size, he spoke as loudly as his voice would allow his words to carry, while trying his best not to be distracted by the rear ends in his vision. Zenmaru must help. Help with concerns, yes. Zenmaru must help. The mantra replayed over and over in his head. No butts.
