__ It was well-known among the police that there was a prominent burglar gang operating in the Landslide Abodes. Kenshin arrived to answer the call for backup on a perp who is currently on the run. He walked through the shanty houses under the cover of the night. Police officers were stomping through the various neighborhoods with flashlights.
As Kenshin ran through the various avenues, one squad notified him that they may have tracked him down to one local park in the middle of a neighborhood of residences. "Byakugan!" He formed a hand sign to reveal the location of the perp to him and he found a man in a hurry in the district reported who matched the description. He kept his powerful eyes of the law fixated on him once he was revealed to him.
Once Kenshin arrived at the park he began to use his advanced dojutsu to track the man down, as was his specialty on the force. Kosei would not call for backup for now. The burglar had a large sack filled with jewelry and other valuables belonging to a local household. "Thieving scum." Kenshin thought with deep contempt.
He chased him using the back alleyways and kept up with him using his highly advanced eyesight. Kenshin was not within the perp's sight yet and continued to follow him undetected. This was in the hopes that perhaps he would find his criminal organization's headquarters. He could tell by the man's chakra network that he was capable of more than the common burglar.
"He's got that kind of chakra network and he's stealing from houses? Unusual." Kenshin noted that he was most certainly a higher up member of some sort of thieves guild. He continued to run but seemed to be approaching the perimeter of the residential district. The police officer could not allow the man to leave the area under police investigation especially since this is where all of his back up is.
He could not allow him to leave the area and had to take him into custody now. "Halt!" Kenshin ordered once he was within range as he appeared from the shadows, blocking his escape from the Landslide Abodes. The thief conjured up a jounin level fireball at him and Kenshin dodged it with an easy jump. When he avoided the attack he brandished his blade and locked all of his chakra points down with a non-lethal sixty-four palm strike from the rapier without the stabbing effect. When he fell to the ground, Kenshin put handcuffs on his wrists.

Once the man regained consciousness, Kenshin walked him and the bag of valuables back to the house. Once they arrived, he noticed that the burglarized home was swarming with police and investigators. "I've found the suspect." Kenshin announced before sitting him down in a chair in the middle of the living room.
He turned his head to the woman who owned the house. "Does this look like our perp? Are these the valuables you're missing?" She confirmed yes on both counts as he inspected the stolen jewelry. The other officers also confirmed that those were the stolen items she registered when they were reported.
In seemed to be an open and shut case, but he had to interrogate the suspect. He looked at the man who was still writhing in pain from the earlier assault. "Did you steal those items from this house?" It was a simple question and the caught criminal simply nodded his head in the affirmative. The other officers then grabbed the man and would take him back to HQ for further questioning while the woman's belongings were returned to her.

"Thank you so much, Officer Kosei. I never thought I'd see my mother's jewelry again." The woman was very grateful that her personal treasures were returned to her. "You're welcome." Truth be told, Kenshin was just content that he caught the thief. "One less criminal on Arashigakure's streets." Kenshin thought triumphantly. With that, he deactivated his byakugan and left the scene with another case closed.

Shōsan would begrudgingly walk alongside the walls of the Landslide Abodes with a bucket and set it down. "Ugh... this is going to be a drag. All these children, thinking they're hard, hip and cool nowadays pulling off these dumb stunts... YOU MAKE LIFE HARD FOR PEOPLE LIKE ME, Y'KNOW!" he'd yell off in annoyance at the sky before releasing a huge sigh. "Alright," he said. "Let's get this over with. SHADOW CLONE JUTSU!" He'd yell out the jutsu as multiple clones of himself appeared. He told his clones to spread out and use whatever it takes - even if that meant using chakra - to clean up the graffiti off of the walls and inside of the toilets. Using rags, soap, water, bleach and other cleaning tools to make the graffiti off the building, some clones using chakra compared to the others using none whatsoever. He and his clones went at this for about an hour until they were done. His clones would meet up beside Shōsan at the side of the building where they were summoned and disperse into smoke. Shōsan would sit on the floor for a bit before flickering into thin air to his next location.

After one heck of another boring class Yuno made her way through the housing district with an idea to stir some things up in mind. Her father and mother had been busy as usual lately. Nobody was around to teach her the cool stuff or to just spend time with her really. So Yuno was feeling bored. [1] If her parents would not make time, she would force them to do so. Removing a can of spray paint from her things she eyed a blank wall that would become her canvass. If anything she'd be improving it with her art. [2] Raising up her arm, she depressed the cap. The result was obviously a misty stream of paint coating the wall. With that she began her artistry. [3] Slowly the painting took form. Three figures she painted upon the wall. Each a monkey with its hands in different positions. [4] See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. An oldie but a classic among the apes. Was this really vandalism? Nay, it was a public service announcement. After admiring her work for a moment she bagged the can and moved on. [5] [Mischief Managed] [Exit]

She knew how to identify the cardinal positions of north, east, and so on. However it wasn't entirely true that if she kept going in one direction would she timely reach her desired destination. Without question she had taken a wrong turn at least two or three streets ago. Maybe Unki made the directional error several streets ago? It was still important to learn about her environment and therefore Unki didn't immediately bail and try to scale to higher ground to retrace her steps. Upon survey of the part of town she was entering, however, she wondered if climbing was even a good idea. This neighborhood looked like something one could find in a fishing village suddenly embracing an economic boom and invested in the lumber trade to build this area which Unki so cautiously dubbed: "Splinter City"
The rugged appearance of the district has its own, although hard to see on the surface, homey look which sprang from what modest, outside decor and freely plastered paint which residents put to use. The structures made her recall how grateful she was to be raised under a sturdy, thatched roof that smelt of salt.
Here, stood structures with drippy paint pictures that made Unki wonder if cleaning up said drippy paint images will be something she'll be put to work for. She furrowed her brow and sneered at images of monkeys that forced the recent memory of the small monkey and the scroll that went as quickly as it came. Unki continued to see how far this part of the village extended and whether or not it could lead her back to the Dojo. She started to daydream. Who else from five years ago could be found here?

The Keles ______[Kaylay] & [Keelee] It wasn't a super long walk for the twins to make it back to their apartment. When [Keelee] pushed open the door, both their and their twin's body ached and yearned for the bed. After closing the door, they strode over to the bed in the corner of their dusty, yet tidy room. They weren't here very often, but it was always refreshing to come back. "Maybe I should make [Kaylay] clean this place up when we wake up. That'll be a matter for later. Time to sleep." A large yawn curled out of their mouth as they began to nod off to sleep, still together in the same body.
It wouldn't be until much later that they would awaken. The first to awake would be [Kaylay]'s consciousness, taking over control of their shared body. They looked around and saw all the dust in the room. They thought it would be a good idea to give it a clean, but decided to just save that job for another time. Right now was time better used on taking missions or training. That way the twins could sooner become chuunin.

It was they rested after this long day.

So it was the case that Unki had accidentally meandered about her way to the Landslide Abodes where her directional-ly sound mind had been put to the test in such a way that left the girl in a more than less than unhelpful state of dislocation. To put that she was lost was simpler but far less interesting. She had ninja training to keep her out of danger, to point out the fresh paint of the Mural Son Yuno had previously slathered on the wall in a way only she could, and to pick out that the outside of the homes did in fact look closer to a collection of shanty towns than what they really were.
What would specifically draw her notice was broken glass on the ground near the door of one such home that looked no more special than any others besides a few key features. Firstly, this house was emblazened with the kanji for Storm just above the now subtely ajar door's frame. Second, and perhaps more noticeably, was the fact that there was a vine hanging low from it's four corners that would seem pointedly out of place against the rest of the design of the building. Within the building, sounds like rummaging and grunting could be just barely heard if one were to approach the door to the less than modestly sized home. The burglars, as they appeared to be, had specifically chosen to come at the low point of noon when Mizuki was sure to be busy in the hospital living the life of an accomplished psychologist, and the twin Kage would certainly be too busy to come see them.
But what were their intentions? Why steal from the most dangerous and well known ninja in the village?
The Keles ______[Kaylay] & [Keelee] The beaten and battered bodies of the twins were finally getting the rest they were aching for. As they drifted deeper and deeper into their sleep, they began to recount their day. One sparring match with each other, then a nap, followed by another sparring match. After that, the twins copied sealing formulas in ink on parchment. They studied each seal thoroughly. After the twins had gotten their full rest, [Kaylay] would awake once more in the room, feel almost fully refresh.

The Keles ______[Kaylay] & [Keelee] [Kaylay] opened their eyes after their much needed rest. They got up, stretched, and put on a kettle of water to heat. It was definitely time to clean the room, something they hadn't done since moving in. [Kaylay] took the next ten minutes are so to just get damp rag, a bucket of water, and a cup of instant ramen noodles. The kettle began to scream and they filled the ramen cup with boiling water, then set it down on the table in the center of the room. They then spent the next fifteen minutes giving the room a much needed wiping down. They managed to get everything cleaned that was covered in dust and could rest again with a cup of instant noodles. Then, with a full stomach and a clean room, [Kaylay] got up from the table and tossed away the empty noodle cup as they left the room and headed into the village.

The speckles of sunlight, glittering in the wake of her path, was pretty despite reading as a noteworthy hazard for someone without shoes and more so considerably concerning that the mess of glass was scattered at the front stoop of someone's house. Unki observed the exterior of the house before going much further in any direction and eyed the greenery that seemed out of place. A vine from some thing or plant growing above. Unki looked upward as she advanced. First thing first, she chose to tug twice on the vine to test its sturdy quality. Unki then embraced the simple choice of sucking the life out of the plant appendage to make it frail. She wasn't sure how the vine was connected to the broken window but best not to let someone else test how strong a piece of greenery can measure up against the strength of one of these shanty-house windows.
Maybe she just did the homeowners a favor?
In regards to the broken window, the tactless Unki advanced to check out the front door. Open. Now, a truly tactless Unki would have tested the weight of the door with a push from her finger and wiggle her way through, but the impression of a voice resounding in her head stopped her from acting too quickly. Oddly enough, the feeling to pause didn't stem from some ninja lesson but from a memory of being scolded as an impatient youngster by one of her parents. Unki did approach the door but felt initially wrong for contemplating entry of a stranger's home. Although, the sounds coming from inside this stranger's home were suspicious with broken glass by her shoes and the door was open just enough. Had the owner made the mistake of breaking glass and forgetful to shut the door? In the event that it whoever inside was supposed to be there or wasn't Unki had to prepare for both scenarios and form the best cover story for the worst. There was always the chance the door had a sound to it. A creak. Any noise that could come from the door was one Unki hoped whoever inside was too distracted pay much mind too. On the upside, Unki was considerably quiet with her footing thanks to the pair of silent soles she made sure to keep up with over the years and some serious training has reduced the sound of her steps on top. So, the worry of entering the house stood on the door and whether or not it had a terrible creak when pushed open slowly.
The not-so tactless Unki opens the door in just said fashion, slowly. It wasn't like she had special eyes or anything to take a peek through the walls. The front door was her best bet. Once on the otherside of the door there isn't much going back at that point. Right?

Somewhere in the aether, at the burning of the vine a rather houghty Gigantopithicus shifted in his position as if he had been discomforted by the action. That, however, was neither here nor there as Unki elected to enter the home. Contrary to the outside appearances, the building was in rather solid repair. At her push, it opened nigh on silently as if it had been opened for the first time. Behind the glass door, the larger one, the one supposed to actually be there for security and insulation, was already wide open. If she rolled high enough on her perception check, Unki would note that the knob looked like it had been tampered with, hastily cracked open and hanging from it's former position a shell of it's former self. The walls of the small space beyond the front door greeted her in shades of cyan and pink blended with yellow and minty green as if a child had chosen the colors. Across the very loud cacophony of color, a red arrow pointed towards the living room around to the right.
And plastered right against that was an explosive tag array, several notes placed in a highly dangerous setup. ON the ground below, a spool of wire over more broken glass from, presumably, the picture frame that had clearly been knocked down. It appeared as though Unki had interrupted a set up of some kind. Should she follow the spool of wire, which shifted as the line was presumably yanked upon by those inside, she would find two ninja with their backs turned in a living room that looked impossibly beautiful when contracted to the neighborhood's shanty-town vibe. The splashes of color were far more artistically intricate than it initially seemed, designed with the imagination of two small children while simultaneously actually painted by the hands of masters. The room was large, couches lining the back and right most walls from Unki's perspective at the entrance. Though there was a mess across the floor from a table having been shoved over, wood so crisp it looked fake comprising it, it still somehow felt incredibly roomy. Even the windows, blinds closed, were more eye catching inside than out with ornately detailed framing. Every seat, couches included, was something that looked both practical and somehow crass. Unmistakable were large shelves, sturdy and empty save for one just below where the two invaders seemed to be carefully placing explosive tags. On that shelf which was a stark bit higher, the images were clear. Green hair, emeralds for irises, unmistakably dressed in a manner befitting both a wife and a milf simultaneously in the exposed midriff and black leather pants, beside her a man minus his shirt, toothy smirk bearing one fang, the other tooth broken, a long scar from his cheek down his neck, another across his chest. Ornate was the sash on her hip, golden in contrast to the black around his. His arm gripped her hip, her eyes on his even though he smiled to the camera. Her hand rested squarely centered upon his chest, the one out of sight wrapped around his back clearly. Opposite that image, a man of white hair and golden, infinitely spiraling Orobourous within it. He maintained his shirt, black with golden embroidery, open in a deep V down the middle but obscured by the face buried in his chest, arms closed around his body. If it weren't clear enough by then, seeing the long hair and the emblem reminiscent of an apes face in black on the back of her golden shirt, the identity of the home's owners would be clear.

Though the spool hugged the wall, a black line being pulled up those stairs, the men before her presented a clear and present threat. Their faces were obscured by yellow masks from the nose down, and they wore all black uniforms like that of an Anbu, golden G notes on their backs inside of a red sun the only identifying quality. One of them cast a glance over their shoulder and saw her there. Unki may not have been instantly recognized, but the man was startled enough to be caught flat footed if she chose to act. How she chose to do so would dictate a lot in this situation as one of the men scrambled to close a bag and the other fought to try and rise to his feet.
This situation scaled from concern and intrigue to a problem Unki felt morally responsible to complete, sorta. The paper tags were sensitive tools that could go off from just about anything with sparks or my the will of the block heads who spent who know how long setting this mess all up. Being on the otherside of the room, paper bombs between the distance, and being a close range fighter who did not mind throwing a few sparks was a problem when in the house of... guy she spoke to earlier, girl, kelp siren, and that one guy. They seem to have eccentric tastes in decor. One of the pair pretty much had eye contact, at this point, with her while the second was busy in a frantic flurry to pack up. This set up could work. What time had she to mull over options? Hardly a few seconds. But what was a nifty neato "curve ball" she could make to buy her a few seconds, the upper hand, or one fewer foe to fight with? There was something she had up her sleeve and with its significant coverage of 30ft of range, Unki would have to take a precautionary measure. In one of her five pockets a unusual tool, handed over to her by a grateful resident of endaishima, was stored. In the few seconds she had Unki chose to toss two items: a swift kunai, from which she could anticipate anything to happen be it a hit, a dodge, a deflection into a solid object. Something was going to happen to that kunai the second she allowed to fly from her hand. What may not be anticipated was the Endaishima Squid Ink sac attached to it that would explode nearly no matter what happened to the kunai. When the kunai met its fate the ink sac should erupt accordingly and unleash an inky black goo. Unki was certain to retreat what few feet she could in case the ink is to splash back and attempted to take what partial refugee she could behind whatever she could. She didn't know what sort of effect exactly would start from the ink. Unki knew the blend she was awarded was fair for capturing by Hojo clan hunters and she was advised to not touch it herself if it could be helped. She waited a second before choosing to draw her own sword. Whether attacking first was the right or wrong thing to do, the liklihood of them attacking her for intruding was sure to follow shortly. There was also the strong probable chance of being met by whoever was upstairs. The thought came through her head that if this house fell, as she eyeballed the paper bombs, she would definitely be in charge of rebuilding it board by board.
ooc: Do I have to subtract 100 chakra for using that Ink sac projectile I was awarded? I mean, it sounds like a bit much for something that already has the punch packed into it.

The girl was fast, sure, but not so much faster with her hands than the ninja struggling to get his footing could react. He avoided the kunai easily enough, and his buddy happened to not be in the direct path of the coming attack anyway. As such, when it hit the wall, the two of them were caught completely unawares by the trap that the girl had secretly set up with her throwing knife. The burst was loud and jarring, as anyone could expect an explosion of that high a caliber could be. Unki would be treated to the sight of two men shoved across the room as ink splattered along the walls just barely not reaching her own body. There was an immediate response from the men now stuck to the very same walls as the ink began to constrict and crush their bones and restrict their breathing as well. The couch and end tables, the coffee table, the shelves and wedding photo alike all suddenly being crushed as the ink wrapped like a Boa Constrictor around the whole of the room. The noise the men made, loud screams of agony and pain that turned to wheezing as lungs struggled to draw breath among broken ribs likely to pierce into the softer organs. Even their faces and throats were being choked and collapsed upon. Those two men were not likely long for the world if the ink wasn't cleared from their bodies somehow.
A quick response from the kitchen saw another ninja, this one likely a woman who stepped in from the kitchen, barely keeping her feet clear of the ink as she did so and looking to see Unki, standing in the doorway and clearly not one of hers. Their mission had been to set the trap undetected, but in the case that they were indeed found, they were to cut losses and escape. Unki, backing away as she had, put herself in the only spot the ink wouldn't have reached... which was also extremely close to the explosive tags. The woman clapped her hands in a snake seal the moment she determined the mission a lost cause, which was when her eyes laid on her slowly dying comrades and then the girl standing there with her sword. The resulting explosion boomed right beside Unki, putting her directly in harms way while also taking out a significant portion of the building. As for the ninja upstairs, his own tags array was too close, and had he not already been running for the stairs to check on the noise, and halfway down, he would have been blown away himself. Instead, half of the house went up in flames and he was sent flying into a wall, impacting with a solid CRACK. As for the terrorist who'd set the bomb off, she too had been ragdolled against the wall from the force, but found her footing fast and flung herself through a window that was blown out from the force and began to make a run for it.

I'll say no this time, but I'm not keen on stuff like using someone's high level bloodline techniques for free even as a gift. Shouldn't have been given out in the first place.
Oh and that's gonna be a solid A rank explosion's worth in damage if you don't escape the tags from the door way.
Alright. That didn't work completely how it was supposed to. Adrenaline coaxed her to act and dodge the explosion {Rank B| • { 050 } stamina | soft physical formless dodge - supp activation}. Allowing the girl to escape would be inexcusable after having this much damage occur already and it would be unforgivable to allow the growing fire to its own devices and burn Splinter City. It would be a long shot but Unki was going to have to try this new plan on the fly.
She made a clone {supp activation #2} to leave behind here at the house. The Unki clone's job was to warn the neighborhood of the house fire and get the local's help to fill in where she couldn't. Unki's skill set doesn't allow her to throw water around like a human typhoon.
As for the terrorist, Unki had hurried out after her in the direction she was last seen from. If she could get more than just flicker of her in view then Unki knew the time to act accordingly could come.
The clone, behind and back at the house, was busy shouting. "Fire! Fire! Fire! House fire! House fire! Help help!" The shrill of her cry from the street was the first act to stir attention. The Unki cloned scanned for any bodies of water and buckets that any present dwellers would go for. In her experience, a house fire took the force of a small village smother without any shinobi help. The terrorists inside would just have to be casualties ,encapsulated in ink, until the proper authorities could examine them.
