"Now that's a super hero name! I'm glad to have you blitz. Glass Boy said with a smirk, his attention remaining on Takao as he continued to follow through with his attack only for Takao to body flicker away. The boy immediately used his momentum to jump out of the crater he had created. Glass Boy would land about twenty away from Blitz. "I told you to not hold back." He said to Takao, as he turned around to face the man once again. Something he was thinking may not have been the best idea. Particularly now that he had Blitz in the battle. She didn't seem like the most powerful person around, but she showed a lot of courage.
Glass Boy was quick to react to Takao's attack. He knew Blitz was going to need help. The boy dashed his way over to her, standing directly in between her and the wave. At the very last moment possible he created two glass mirrors in front of them, upon seeing them Takao would see Glass Boy blocking the attack for Blitz with his body before he would explode into a 500 glass shards. However, instead the two glass mirrors would protect both Blitz and Glass Boy from the attack. The glass would shatter and crumble to the ground, creating an opportunity for him to attack with Blitz's lightning shock.
"Good Job Blitz!" He encouraged his new teammater as the boy formed a few handseals. Glass Boy would focus his chakra to open up a sink hole below Takao. ● Hall of Mirrors | Rank X The Hari Clan's main weapon is their ability to create large glass structures on command. Through this ability, the Hari Clan have derived a method of protecting their ninja on the battlefield while simultaneously assaulting the enemy with their own attacks. Using the Hall of Mirrors, the Hari Clan member is able to create up to two [2] mirrors anywhere within a thirty foot [30ft] radius of themselves. These mirrors act as shields and can deflect any techniques in strength equal to the amount of chakra spent upon their creation. Once created, these Mirrors are stationary and last for five [5] posts or until shattered [this technique is shattered if it is hit by a technique that is equal to or greater than the power of the mirrors]. At it's lowest rank, a thirty foot area to each side of the sink hole begins to draw in towards the center, drawing targets to their doom as they are buried, the pit measuring as deep as it's width. Those trapped within the sink hole require chakra one rank above the technique's executed rank to escape it's hold. Utilization of the Act of Surface Walking is impossible upon this surface.

The opposite hand is pressed against the abdomen at a ninety degree angle, defending the torso. The user steps forward in a rapid motion, advancing upon the target and extending their striking hand outward, utilizing the back of the fist to strike the target, aiming for the side of their head. This strike when used after any other punching technique gains a [1] point increase to strength per rank of the technique. If used from a stance, the user's next technique gains a [1] point increase in speed.

Takao stretched his arms over head as he returned to the scene where he had first met the two fledgling superheroes. The apartments were all re-built from where a fire had once struck them, and the civilians traveled the streets with... not too much fear. There was a weird tension everywhere in Arashigakure because of the new APD. Turns out, people didn't like the revelation that the police force was entirely corrupt.
That left him with his little vigilantes who operated outside of the APD. Takao needed them to be the beacons of light that the village needed, that Kaito had been before...
"Stay focused in the moment," Takao murmured under his breath. He turned to his kiddos and clapped his hands with an excited energy he was forcing himself to feel. "Okay! So, let's figure out our visions for being heroes, eh? That'll help us serve Arashigakure better. Tell me: in an ideal world, what kind of hero are you? What do you do?"

Glass Boy leaned against his bike as Speed Man seemed to give himself a pep talk. Glass Boy did that on occasion, he needed to before fighting off those villains that seeked to harm Arashi. The boy was certainly excited to immediately answer Speed Man's question as soon as it was proposed. He would push himself into a standing position before placing his hands on his hips. "A hero always fights for those who can't fight for themselves. You put your life on the line to save those that are in danger. When you hear a scream, see an explosion, or anything else, you always run toward and not away." Glass Boy raised a solitary fist before him. "They always push themselves to be better than they were the day before. A hero never gives up." Glass boy smiled, a tear barely managing to hold itself to Glass boy's eyelid.

Naomi followed behind Takao and Glass Boy, sipping on a to-go cup of tea she picked up from one of the local restaurants. The trio arrived at the scene where the first met; the buildings that were once destroyed by flames were built anew. It filled the young, aspiring hero with the memories she made in this place: fighting alongside Glass Boy against Takao for her very first "superhero" experience. She also remembered the guilt and shame she felt for being unable to be as helpful as she would have liked to be, for Glass Boy. Since then, the release of her "superpowers" were spotty a best. With a month of practice prior to this day, Naomi was able to gather that her abilities only seem to activate in a heightened state of adrenaline. She had very little control over her ability, and Naomi felt that made her more of a danger to her teammates than anything.
Takao brought up an interesting question that snapped Naomi out of her headspace, "Tell me: in an ideal world, what kind of hero are you? What do you do?" Naomi chewed on her straw in thought, her eyes glancing over to Glass Boy as he answered the question without hesitation. Glass Boy was the mirror image of the traditional hero, and his answer reflected that. He was strong, courageous, and kind. Naomi looked up to him, in a way, striving to mimic such traits that came to him so naturally. It was almost like he was born a hero. Noami was just an ordinary teenager with teenage dreams, discovering some weird power she never knew she had. She probably wasn't ideal for this superhero career, but she had a reason for trying.
Thinking back on the first time her powers came to her aid, a chill ran down her spine. If I hadn't done what I did back then, Akane and I would not be where we are today... In the middle of the night after one of their shows, they were ambushed in the alleyways on their way home. Neither of them were strong enough to stop their assailants, and Naomi tried her best not to remind herself of how hopeless and terrified she had felt during it all. "I... I know what it's like to be helpless. To be cornered and threatened by someone or something so terrifying that the only thing you're thinking about is waking up, and finding out that it was all a dream. Only to realize, with each quivering breath, that it's not. This is your reality, and there's no one there to save you from it." Her hands clutched the cup of tea she was holding as she paused and gathered herself. "In an ideal world, I want to be the beacon of hope that shines in the darkness. To let people know that they are safe, and that I will be there for them in their darkest hour. To encourage them face their greatest fears with whatever courage they can muster because they have someone in their corner to back them up." A mere month of training and practice wouldn't be enough to allow this vision to come to fruition, however Naomi was determined to see this through. This was the reason why she put her music passions on hold, achieving mastery over her powers held more meaning to her than her band, Glass Boy or Takao will ever know.

He couldn't help but smile at both of their answers. Naomi's came from a place of deep empathy and sympathy, but Glass Boy's came from a sense of duty. Both were good reasons to commit yourself to goodness, but their answers still lacked an important depth: how far could they push their ideals? What if what they thought was the right thing was obscured, unclear?
His face fell as he considered how that had hindered his own progress in becoming a hero; even now, he didn't consider himself one, though he knew he needed to act outside the law to help people that couldn't rely on the police. He wondered if his team could come to the same conclusion, or if they were never going to see eye to eye. "What do you do when the law is enforcing something injust? What do you do when the law is harming people? What do you do if it isn't an explosion, but some slower type of violence? What if the threat isn't a monster or a villain, but something more abstract?" He didn't expect either of them to know what he was talking about.
As shinobi, they were taught to be loyal to the village and hold it above all else. It took years for Takao to see how much ruin he had personally protected within the village. He threw them a bone and continued, "The slums. Those people are hurting, a lot, but they don't receive help. There is no big bad evil guy to fight, but those people need protection. Do you understand what I'm saying?"

Glass Boy listened to Blitz's answer and found himself nodding. It was a very good answer from his perspective. "That's what it means to be a hero." The boy wonder smiled with the widest smile he could muster. Blitz was going to be a great hero, Glass Boy could tell and he always thought he had a good eye for that sort of thing. Takao began speaking again which drew Glass Boy's attention back to him. The question he proposed was something glass boy was already familiar with having been one of the people saved in the trafficking bust that had happened recently. There's a lot of evil in the world that can't be solved by a fist. It took much more than that.
"If the law is hurting the people, we have to fight the injustice somehow. We must seek to see laws changed and if the system won't change the laws then we must break the system. Our duty as hero extends beyond the physical means of protection. People need to be protected from laws, roving gangs, and need some sort of mental protection like hope. Heroes pose as a sign of hope for these people and that symbol helps them fight those injutices that are more abstract." Glass Boy nodded confidently as he crossed his arms. He wasn't sure if his answer was the one Takao was asking for, but he answered as confidently as he possibly could. The recent police corruption that had the villagers hiding from the law was what he figured Takao was refering to so that's what he based his answer off of.

As you know, this is a seemingly joyous part of the village but it's a slaughterhouse just beneath the gilded surface." He spoke with contempt toward the villains of the village who preyed on those who lived in the sunlight. Musica would no doubt notice how easy it was for Kenshin to slip into his old self, the justiciar who made the man's fearsome reputation. His ocular veins tensed as he surveilled the district. "From what I understand, the Arashikage wants us to find a top trafficker in the countryside. Our intel indicates that he's a fixer in the outlands, facilitates delivery. He must have men on the inside bringing them in. Trafficking is a chain, all you need to do is find one link and the rest shall be revealed. His name's Okada, or at least that's what they call him. Let's find who the fixer fixes for on the inside." The moment he finished his utterances, a dark blue rapier appeared on his hip. It was basket-hilted and made from otherworldly energy, the warrior's base essence. Kenshin and Musica would converse while exploring the alleyways and hidden paths where gang bosses tended to gather.

Half the resource cost of techniques from the rapier style of Sen Gekiretsu Nagareboshi applied allows the technique to carry the tenketsu sealing effects of a same-rank palm strike such as a B-Rank carrying 64 Palms effects. Getsuruito must be in its rapier form to use this ability and 5 chakra can be spent upon activation of this technique to transform it as such. The Righteous Sword of the Sentinel technique has a 10 post duration before necessitating re-activation and costs an E-Rank amount of chakra. Smiting Blade of the Night Watch [ Naitō Otchi no Sumittinguburēdo ] | Rank X | Bukijutsu [ Lightning ] | Spiritual When this technique is activated it crackles violently with night blue lightning for the entire duration. The electricity from the blade also forms bolts of lightning over the body of the user and appears to supercharge them. Whenever the blade is swung or thrust over the duration the user can fire a concentrated blast of ten bolts of lightning to accompany the strike equal to the rank applied but for only half the cost to initiate the technique. Hatake, Raiu, and Sage enhanced lightning can pass through the blade and apply to these lightning bolts. The bolts cause a thunderously deafening sonic boom and can inflict tier 2 burns upon direct contact with the lightning. Additionally, these lightning bolts can be freely applied to all complex bukijutsu for no action cost to smite enemies. The only action cost is when the technique is activated and all subsidiary abilities of the technique do not consume actions and only chakra. This ability can be used in both forms of Getsuruito.
Draconic Sabre of Moon Sundering [ Getsu Sandaringu no Dorakonikku Seibā ] | Rank X | Bukijutsu [ Lightning ] | Complex This is the original ability of the ancient Getsuruito blade and thus requires the original katana form. 5 chakra can be spent to transform the blade to its original form upon activation of this technique. Crackling and thunderous dark blue lightning can be applied to the katana's edge at any rank and the same lightning can form a dragon head formed from electricity over the body of the user for 10 posts. This allows all spiritual techniques the sword comes into contact with to be slashed through and even cut in half at the same rank despite the complex nature of the technique. For half of the original cost to activate the technique a same-rank spiritual electrical energy slash can be sent out from the slash of the blade. This same cost can be applied to any complex bukijutsu to achieve the same effect. The original 10 post activation of this ability consumes an action but all subsidiary abilities do not.
“The new police chief?” Musica repeated with a tilt of her head. The look on her face made it clear that she hadn’t quite figured out exactly what Kenshin was asking. After all, that information was public knowledge. The man’s wife even gave Musica a gift for it. “That’d be me, of course!” She answered with a wide grin.
As the two of them left, Musica was left to ponder the sanin before her. He’d been the APD chief before her… before Hiroshi even. It really put into light just how big the shoes she’d need to fill would be, for better or for worse. It didn’t weigh heavily on her conscience, but it would be something that Musica would keep in mind. However, it wouldn’t be long before Kenshin took the two of them to the White Flash district. “A lot of that is by design, y’know.” Musica replied, giving Kenshin a look from the corner of her eye, her hands locked behind her head and her elbows up. “The White Flash district is wildly cutthroat, so people will do anything just to get by, let alone get above their competitors.” The white haired Jonin recalled her and her family’s time spent as thieves. This district would always be an easy mark, if you knew where to look. “People tend to get desperate when they hit rock bottom, especially if they were on the top of the food chain before. It really brings about the darker side of Arashi, like that Jashinist cult that was exterminated during the attack last month.”
Musica kept pace with Kenshin, using her own mental map of the White Flash district to know about where he was going. “So Mr. Kenshin,” she started. She looked at the sword the sannin manifested, but made no such motion to do anything similar. She’d learned from a young age that if you went around dressed for a fight, one would find you sooner or later. So she kept her walk casual, like they were supposed to be there. “Why’d you stop being police chief? Seems like you’re pretty good at it.” During her own time as a thief (a street rat, if she was honest), Musica didn’t think she’d ever seen Kenshin. The highest up on that chain had only ever been Hiroshi.
Takao was pleased to hear Glass Boy's conviction. The hero seemed to love the pure righteousness of fighting for ideals, but he wasn't blinded by this love. His head and his heart were in the right place. "That's mature of you," Takao commented, unable to keep the surprise out of his voice.

She clearly paused to evaluate the situation; oinin were meant to be completely mysterious, but Takao clearly operated outside of the hierarchy she was used to, given his direct authority given from the kage on important matters.
"They got in earlier this week. And the week prior. We didn't know until today that the cause was civilians. We don't know how. We're... we're missing hundreds."
"Hundreds of scrolls?" Takao's jaw dropped. They were talking about enough stored force to take down Arashigakure. Twice. He couldn't begin to estimate how many S+ rank techniques were stored in the armory, let alone how many the civilians had gotten. He looked over the oinin and noticed the scorched, corroded marks all over her arms. She'd been hit with some hard s**t, then.
"Let us go. They'll be expecting masks. We're more likely to catch 'em off-guard; they won't be ready to hide from us." She hesitated again, looking between the two of them. She let her gaze rest on Glass Boy, who admittedly looked pretty young. "You sure?"

He responded seriously but pleasantly as he considered what she was saying. Perhaps he could help her adapt to her new role. "In my time as a police-nin much of the crime was based on political extremism. Many citizens had difficulties with abandoning their identities of Kumogakure, Kirigakure, and Otogakure. Even I felt a closer bond with my home village of Kumogakure. It was a difficult transition when the village was newer. It was essential for the police to keep order." Kenshin reflected on the challenges of the past and hoped that this would give Musica more context as she advanced the Police Department. When she mentioned that the White Flash Districts were like this by design he shook his head silently. "Not quite, Arashigakure is orderly by design but many decide to advance selfish interests over what is best for the village." This was Kenshin's personal outlook on many internal affairs matters. He understood that there were societal defects that accounted for crime and internal struggle but he also believed that a lack of personal accountability was what put the defects into action.

Because of that, the various gangs, organizations, and factions can cause a lot of sway within the system of the village.” Compared to what Kenshin experienced with her, Musica was far more insightful to the flow of crime in Arashi. “The district itself is more self run than most of Arashi, even with Miyuki’s more diligent attitude towards governing.”
“And with the way corruption spread through the APD once you were gone, the people on the lower rungs preferred the self-sustaining system.” She continued. “A lot of us couldn’t trust the APD, even at our lowest moments. Putting starving kids behind bars because of how we had to put scraps on our plates was a bad look. After a while, we started figuring out who we could and couldn’t rely on, is all.”

And it's never too late to change and do what's right. Protecting and serving does not mean permitting breaking the law." He was steadfast in his idealistic convictions. Crackling and thunderous dark blue lightning can be applied to the katana's edge at any rank and the same lightning can form a dragon head formed from electricity over the body of the user for 10 posts. This allows all spiritual techniques the sword comes into contact with to be slashed through and even cut in half at the same rank despite the complex nature of the technique. For half of the original cost to activate the technique a same-rank spiritual electrical energy slash can be sent out from the slash of the blade. His chakra was immediately locked down and he collapsed unconscious with no stab wounds. His rapier in this instance was merely an extension of his palms. The other assailant would attack Musica. Once these two were quietly dealt with the two could advance further in the complex.

Glass Boy nodded at Takao's response. "I didn't have any other choice than to be mature. A basic requirement of any superhero is maturity." The boy said, a smile on his face. Though his words masked what he truly meant. He wasn't mature because he wanted to become a hero, he was mature because he was made to become a hero. Glass Boy had his childhood ripped from him by those traffickers and as the oldest sibling he had no other choice than to lead and guide his family. Even if Glass Boy wanted to tell Takao any of this, it seemed time was rather short today. Signaled by the sudden woman flying in between the two. "Nice catch." Glass Boy grinned and flashed a thumbs up to his mentor.
The boys hands would fall to his hips and form his familiar super hero pose. Just for show of course, Takao could do all the talking as far as Glass Boy was concerned. Instead he would focus on accessing potential threats from the area that the woman had come from. Whatever it was sounded pretty bad. Citizens taking scrolls? Glass Boy was surprised any of them could even try to use them. The thought of how much power they had stolen was mind boggling to say the least. What if those were to get into the wrong hands? What would happen then?
Glass Boy was ready as it seemed Takao was taking over the situation, but the woman didn't seem so sure of the pair. The boy would lock eyes with the woman and with the most confidence he could must say, "We're sure." Glass Boy would then nod and follow Takao's lead from there.
