AJ Styles was backstage in his locker room getting his gloves off
and then tossing it into his bag that he brought into the locker room.
Renee Young would then walk up with the microphone that she
had in her hand and excused herself to talk with Styles at the moment.
Renee Young: "Excuse me AJ, I just wanted your thoughts on
what happened out there tonight..?"
Styles looked at Renee Young with a confused face, but at the same
time didn't look that angry. He spoke into the microphone to respond
to Renee.
AJ Styles: "Well how else could I feel after that. Shinsuke
looked like he had me at the end of that match there, but the people
know who I am. I would've gone forward in that match and won
a fair one-on-one match with Neville, but I get it. Baron Corbin
is a new guy on the roster and he wants to make a name on himself
against The Phenomenal One, and that's fine. But that's gonna have
to wait until AFTER, Survivor Series, after I BEAT, Baron Corbin and
send him back to wherever he came from, and go on to beat both
Shinsuke AND Neville, for the Paramount Championship. Baron
Corbin.."
He would look at the camera instead of Renee, and then gave a
fierce look. "You don't know what you got yourself into, and
you don't know who you're messin' with. And if you don't know
yet, then you'll just have to see on iMPACT."
Styles would pack his bag and zip it up, and then walk out of his
locker room, making a fair statement to newcomer, Baron Corbin.
