Thank you for deciding to read up on the guilds handy-dandy Guide Book.
Inside you will learn about how to fill out certain parts of your profile, as well as how to end a feud fairly. If you have a question, don't be afraid to ask in the appropriate topic on the home page of the guild

As you've seen in the profile, there is a section with stats, where you have to distribute a certain percentage to build the strong points and weak for your characters stats. Something that looks like this:

Attributes (Everyone starts off with 40)

¤ Strength: ★☆☆☆☆
¤ Dexterity: ★☆☆☆☆
¤ Intelligence: ★☆☆☆☆
¤ Perception: ★☆☆☆☆
¤ Toughness: ★☆☆☆☆
¤ Speed: ★☆☆☆☆
¤ Reflexes: ★☆☆☆☆

Offense and Defence Properties (Starts off with 24 points)

¤ Accuracy: ★☆☆☆☆
¤ Critical Hit Rate: ★☆☆☆☆
¤ Magic Defense: ★☆☆☆☆
¤ Sword Skills: ★☆☆☆☆
¤ Gun Skills: ★☆☆☆☆
¤ Ranged Skills: ★☆☆☆☆
¤ Melee Skills: ★☆☆☆☆
¤ Technological Knowledge: ★☆☆☆☆

You are allowed to subtract from other places to max out in other spots you think would benefit your character most. Yes, you are only limited to the points based on the character you make. In your Occupation section, if you wish to only be a civilian, and not an adventurer, then the 2nd section of your attributes can be deleted.

"Will there be special events where I can earn an additional point?"

Possibly down the line. As of right now, no. What you have is what you'll get ): sorry. If you had any trouble understanding the STATS guildeline, let me know, and i'll help you out to the best of my knowledge.

Got into a fight with another guild mate? Here are some ways to help end that feud:

Say you and another guildmate wanted to have your characters fight each other be it within a mission or other cause, but the fight is dragging on to long, and you don't know a way to end it without killing the other persons character. Simple: Roll one 6 sided die, and who ever has the higher number, wins, and the other can flee.

"How does that work?"

Glad you asked! Ever notice when you are making a reply that there is a slot to the bottom right with the label: "Posting Action" ? Press the arrow down till a list appears. The list will contain three actions.
1.) None
2.) Roll Dice
3.) Random number

Pick "Roll Dice" and an additional slip will appear asking you to select the type of dice. Once you've picked the 6 sided dice enter the amount you would like to use, in which case, just type in 1. Once you've done so, submit your finished post. Now, go to that very post you made, and you will see a generated number the dice had rolled on top of your recent post. If the number is high, you win, if it's low, you loose, if it's a draw, then either play it off as a draw in your next rp post, or try again.

Example:

Bob The Hero: "Aha! I shall end you scum!" Bob the hero baited his opponent. Drawing his long sword, he charges in, hoping this final attack will end the fight.

Tom The Scum: "Haha! Not today! I shall prevail!" Tom retorted all evil like. Laughing hysterically , he thrusts his dagger forward deflecting the hero's sword, but in doing so, aims for Bobs shoulder to inflict a devastating injury.

Now, since Tom The Scum rolled higher than Bob The Hero, Bob would have to respond with taking that hit to the shoulder, and decide to retreat for now to live another day, or if both agreed upon AND notified me, have Bob The Hero be killed in action. If you haven't read the rules yet, this would apply. I highly recommend that you read the rules, and have them memorized.

If you have any further questions on disputes, don't be afraid to ask in the according topic on the guilds home page.

-Thank you

"In the profile, I didn't see the options for race, do we not have one or?"

No? You do have the option to choose whatever race you deem fit within the FFXIV universe. Within this subforum, please be sure to check out the topic "Races". There, you can find all that is available to choose from, along with a small description as to what they are.

"What if we wanted to start our own guild or business?"

Also within this subforum, there is a topic for places and guilds with a small description as well as a layout for you to fill. Please be sure to submit the application to me via PM for approval.
