Pattern Usage

Kwik 2514

I used pattern A minus the bow.

Because of the vintage quality of the pattern the dresses for B and C share the pattern with A. If a longer length is needed then there is no need to alter the pattern. They in addition have pieces for a greater length.

I used black fabric for the front center piece (1) and dark royal blue for all additional pieces.

Simplicity 2333

I am using pieces from A. I used the collar (3), sleeve (6), cuff ( 8 ), and lower jacket (9 and 10).

I cut collar, sleeve, and jacket pieces of dark royal blue.

I altered collar to be longer and then cut out of purple. Cuff is also altered to be smaller then cut out of dark royal blue.

McCall 7397

I used C out of black stretch fabric.

Altered/Self-made Pattern Pieces

There are a few pieces that had to be altered or made by hand. Here's a list of what I had to alter and make.

The Purple collar
I took the same pattern (S2333, 3) that I used for the blue collar, but extended it by 3 inches. I otherwise used the same instructions for the original collar.

Shoulders Pieces
I cut out four rectangular pieces of blue fabric and 2 matching interfacing. I then sewed 1 interfacing with two pieces of fabric together.

Cuffs
I halved the cuff pieces (Pattern S2333, 8 ). Making the cuffs smaller. All other parts to this piece are same as instructions.
