Username: AnubisisMyInspiration Have you tried woven metal cloth? Or maybe canvas, but that's not totally tough. Or possibly a tight body suit that doesn't have a lot of spare for people to catch on. Do you have any traditional clothing you would want it based off of? What fighting style do you do? Maybe I can work something out.

Username: BlueScales Hmm, haven't thought about those. I don't go for metal plated armor, it slows me down and I have my own natural scales to protect me. Woven metal cloth might not be a problem, as long as it's flexible and light. A body suit...ehh, are we talking that...'layytax' stuff? I'm more of a brawler, I like to use my claws to rake opponents, or punches and kicks work too. My horns come in useful for ramming things. I usually go for a punk rock look, if not more a pirate sort of loose wear.

Username: AnubisisMyInspiration Oh no no no, not latex! That would be a world of sweat waiting to happen. And possibly chafing! No, I was thinking a more stretchy material that would move with you. More like what dancers wear, perhaps! Nylons, spandex, that sort of thing. Metal cloth tends to be made of a wire mesh, I've never worked with it before though. So I can't say for sure on it's flexibility... Light, it should be, since it's wire.

Username: BlueScales Hmm. Good ideas, but not really my style. Plus they wouldn't last. Wire mesh though maybe? It would have to be rust proof though, I spend a lot of time in saltwater.

I do not know enough about metallurgy and the like to know what would be needed there... But I could try to design something around a wire mesh, especially if we can find some one who knows what would be needed!
