A sincerity roll would be very helpful, yes. [Honesty] emphasis applies if you do intend to strike, [Deceit] emphasis if you're trying to trick him (and the honor loss that goes with it).

Assuming this is honesty- if what Tsuyoshi has been saying is coming across right, he intends to strike, but only on the condition that the bandit offer him something he can use to protect Ayame, or to investigate this further.

Well, after some debate, I'm rolling an attack against what I assume is a very easy TN at the moment, with two raises for damage- unless there is a more appropriate raise to try and make something more (comparatively) painless one-stroke execution, and less hacking at a body until it stops. x___x

2 Raises (for damage, unless
4k3 Agility/Kenjutsu: 15+15+6=36 vs TN+10

Second roll, first two dice for explosion on the attack roll, rest are for damage. If I remember 4e right, raises to damage are always +1k0, until we start getting in excess of 10 dice rolled.

8k2 Damage (or 6k2 if raises reallocated).

Damage: 9+8=17
