Aleks Mason, in his iMPACT debut, had just come off a huge win against former TNW[x] World Champion, number one contender for the Paramount Championship, the Archangel Trent. To much of the fans' surprise, and the surprise of those backstage, Aleks took the upper hand for most of the short match. Aleks, stuck in the middle of an already established story between Matt Allens and Trent (and of course the Paramount Champion, Neville), he still managed to grab some attention and heat for himself. Renee Young stood backstage, ready to talk to the star right after his match.

Renee Young: Ladies and Gentlemen, Aleks Mason has just come off a huge win against the Archangel, so please welcome -

Aleks would walk into the shot, cutting Renee's introduction off. "Renee, it's not about the victory.. it's about the domination that took place in that 20 by 20 foot ring. 20 times 20, 400 minutes - over six hours of television that TNW:R produces a week for fans to watch.. Yet it only took 15 minutes for me to make a statement" Renee would see a pause in Aleks' speech, taking the time to ask a question.

Renee Young: Aleks, how does it feel defeating former World Champion Trent in your iMPACT debut?

Aleks stared at Renee for a second, taking a second for the question to sink in. He didn't look amused, or like he enjoyed that question at all. "Are you.. Renee are you implying because he's a former World Champion that I shouldn't have been able to beat him in what I do best? Let me remind you of a few former World Champions.. The Miz, Ryback, .. do I.. do I even need to say more? Being a World Champion, especially in the era that Trent won it, means nothing now. Flukes happen, some championship victories are flukes. Just look at Seth Rollins for example. Next question."

Renee Young: You may have just put a dent in the road for Trent, making it harder for him going into his title mat-

Once again, Aleks would cut Renee off, "Is this interview about Trent, or about me? I don't want to hear that name one more time in this interview, Renee. In matter of fact, what kind of mother names their child Trent? The last name I should be intimidated of going into a wrestling ring is Trent. But this isn't about him, is it? You asked to talk to ME after my match, so ask questions relevant to ME." Aleks would then look away from Renee, away from the camera, away from anyone with a look of disgust in his eyes.

Renee Young: It sounds to me like you have some sort of a problem with Tre-

Aleks would once again cut Renee Young off, this time snatching the microphone away from her. He stared down the innocent interviewer, before shooing her away with a hand signal. She walked off camera before Aleks took to the microphone, looking directly into the camera. "My problem isn't with Trent. You see, my problem.. my problem is with these so called wrestlers being handed opportunity after opportunity after consistently failing inside the ring. I don't need to be handed anything because I work for what I deserve, I work for what I want. And what I want is championship gold. I am tired.. oh I am tired of being tossed off into the shadows, being told you're not good enough for championship gold. I've proven that I am better than good enough. Sooner rather than later, I will hold gold in TNW:R." Aleks would lower the microphone, as the screen would go back calling an end of the segment.
