Ethan Carter can be seen backstage sipping aqua from a plastic cup, he seemed to have dried off dramatically after his grueling match against a tough one-on-one competitor most notably known as The Viper, Randy Orton. Or The Apex Predator. Or The Legend Killer. Many were finally getting his name right, adjusting from calling him Derrick Bateman to now the known Ethan Carter the Third. He was suddenly called in by a wrestling fan and interviewer in a dashing suit, that most-likely shot up an e-mail to get an exclusive interview with him for the show. TNW:R granted him the rights to come backstage to interview the upcoming breakout star.
Damien Nelson: Damien Nelson of the Pro Wrestling Report here at Total Nonstop Wrestling Revolution and with me is the latest prodigy if you will from TNW:R, Ethan Carter the Third. Ethan, welcome to Pro Wrestling Report!
Ethan Carter III: Thanks for having me.
Damien Nelson: TNW:R over the last few weeks especially and since you've come on board to be honest with you has been absolutely fantastic. What is the atmosphere like especially coming back from TNWF and also to have come and pick up a win from Randy Orton? It's gotta be energizing.
Ethan Carter III: Well, uh, you've said it yourself, since I've arrived game's changed.. I guess you can call me a game changer. Uhm, coming back from TNWF has been, uh, just, I mean, alot of momentum, alot of forward progress, the proverbial youth movement has arrived in TNW:R and, uh, I don't mind to be the crusader, the general, the king of it, I'm very excited to *whistle* *pop* keep moving forward *wink*.
Damien Nelson: Who on your list of opponents do you want to face in TNW:R of the current roster right now?
Ethan Carter III: Oh man, well, I did just beat Randy Orton, which has been great. Kicked out of 2 killer moves, those being the RKO and the Punt Kick, but, uh, I guess I'd like to take a shot at the big guys like Seth Rollins or Roman Reigns. I mean, these guys are fantastic, you know, I'm just about an avid wrestling fan as I am a wrestler, and so, I'd like to go for the gold mines and give them a whack or two upside the head, but there's other guys that are just amazing in their in-ring performance as well, like Matt Allens or Balor. I'd like to step in the ring with legends too like Kurt Angle with him being a former world champion and all. Uh, these new characters that have shown their face, these little gruff lemmings if you will, yeah there's sort of a proverbial Cruiserweight classic coming in. I-I-I think Zack was his name. Well, you know, the list is long.
Damien Nelson: Well, I think it's about time we wrap this up. Well Ethan, there are great things ahead for you and I'm not saying that because someone told me to.
Ethan Carter III: No, I know you're not. I can see your eyes. I can see you looking into my eyes. And you know what I see? Belief. Belief in the future.
Damien Nelson: The future of TNW:R ladies and gentlemen, he just told us so.
