It occurs to me that I've been operating under a slightly different understanding than some other people. For that I wish to beg forgiveness.

There are daimyos of varying power in Rokugan. The highest are the family daimyo, but there are lesser daimyo who control varying allotments of territory in the name of their family and their clan.

Since this is my understanding, let me place forth the options for you.
1) The default family daimyo. You serve this person directly. However, as his/her power is great and his/her ability to give attention to every samurai minimal,

2) Regional or minor daimyo (Like Utaku Ryoko, for the record) are able to pay more attention to their samurai but have less power. You also get to make their name up.

Are you all interested in returning? Things will be a bit diffferent.Resuming your characters would be preferred, but remakes will be allowed as wished. Clans other than Unicorn will be allowed, but will have a much harder time getting approval than Unicorn characters.
