Traveling at 330 m/s, the pistol cartridges are subsonic, that is below the supersonic level that creates a supersonic crack, which keeps the weapon unusually quite. The weapon's muzzle flash is also contained within the suppressor, which helps absorb the resulting gunpowder and expanding gases which typically result in most of the noises of the cartridge.
