Okay, This is what happened to me. I figured my grandparents would be okay that I read Yaoi Manga...but boy was I wrong! Okay, We were in the car going home from barnes&noble-(One of the places I go to buy my manga)-and my grandparents asked what I got. I handed it to them. "Its gay" I said. "You mean Homosexual?" My grandma asked back. "Yeah..." "WHAT?!" My grandpa yelled. My grandma was quiet for a second. "Okay...as long as you dont think the boys are hot cuz theyr gay!" "Dont worry I dont" I dont really like it anyways! Im okay with the love I just dont think its hot. "I CANT BELEIVE THEY'D PUT THAT KIND OF STUFF ON TV!" My grandpa yelled. I was quiet. I didnt want to tell him I only read it and watch it on the internet! Then when we got home they started talking. "Shes not gay!" My grandma said. My grandpa was quiet. I was totally shocked! And I couldnt tell them I had a boyfriend when I wasnt supposed to! gonk
So thats what happened! I dont think they think Im gay anymore but im still afraid to read my manga in front of them! You should all read this story and get used to it! Cuz ive told just about everyone about it! sweatdrop So what happened to you??

I don't think they know...
My mom knows that I like graviation. And she watched an episode of Sukisho with me. But after gravitation I've avoided sharing any type of anime/manga that involves shounen-ai. Or at least episodes with feeling and kissing or anything else. I just like to keep it to myself because it's really awkward and uncomfortable watching those things with other people. I even keep my shounen-ai/yaoi artwork to myself. I don't plan on telling them. They can figure it out for themselves, but I doubt they'd care at all.

hahaha well tahst when they found out...how they found out well...lets just say it wasnt too nice....( i was using my dads computer to....*blush*....and well i forgot to close some windows..in the end my dad turns ont eh coputer and eh has like 45 gay porn pages openening at the same time)

I dont think my parents know, but considering I have a gay sister who brings her girlfriend over every saturday - which they are totally cool with - I dont think they'd care much ^_^ hey, they know I love anime, my mom wached a bit of Gravitation with me once (XD she thought Shuichi was a girl at first)
I wouldent be too worried if they caught me readiong/watching something Shonen ai. They might bre a bit upset if they caught me watching actual Yaoi(what parent woudnt? it'd be a bit like catching your daughter waching porn>.<) but sconsidering I'm not into the hardcore stuff that isnt a problem.

Heh, my parents don't know, and I intend to keep it that way .... at least till I'm old enough to be disowned, lol. I know my grandma's a homo-phobe and doesn't like cartoons or anime .... which is why I hate going to her house because my whole life prcatically revolves around it .... But my dad knows I don't mind gay people, because I asked to see Brokeback Mountain ....
